I bought a new NAD C368 at the beginning of January. The unit would only work for 15 minutes before it shut down. I was able to talk with Colby and NAD about my issue. Neither was able to figure out the problem. So, Colby ordered a replacement unit for me to exchange with my defective unit. I am glad I was finally able to take my unit back and will soon get a new replacement. Thank you for all your help.

If you're into high-end audio, Scott Walker Audio is the place to go! I initially went there in May of 2021 to hear the latest version of Magnepan speakers. I had a set in the 1970's. I ended up buying a pair of the Magnepan 1.7i's, a Parasound amplifier, and Rogue Audio preamplifier. When everything arrived, Scott Walker and his crew came to to my house and set up everything and made sure it sounded great. Since my initial set-up, I have bought other equipment from them since my initial purchases that has even made my system sound better. I highly recommend Scott Walker Audio for all of your stereo equipment needs. I give them 5 's!

So, my first call was to Josh which happened to be after the store had already closed. He took the time to speak with me after hours; friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the products he's selling. Most real audiophiles are cool dudes. Honestly, buying high-end audio is usually a high stress purchase. Bunch of money up front, but lasts for many years of enjoyment... I went back and forth A LOT before deciding to pull the trigger... Josh threw in free shipping, and because I live in Texas, the transaction is tax free! Even from out of state, they still treat you like you're at the store. If you've been holding off buying a serious set of speakers like I have, (4 years!). Call these guys up, I felt no pressure to make my purchase.

In my last review, I gave Scott Walker Audio 5 Stars. In this follow-up, I downgraded my follow-up contact to 2 stars and considered seriously 1. So what has changed? My last review was based on the sales and setup of over $13k worth of equipment. From a sales perspective, I still stand by that 5, they earned it. However, one of those items purchased, a $1k CD player, sold as used for $500, I think it was a previous upgrade trade, immediately showed intermittent CD insertion/ejection issues, something I did not recognize at first since this was my 1st and only slot transport CD Player. Over the next 6 months with only about 30-40 plays, it became apparent that it was a bad unit to begin with when purchased and it finally was no longer intermittent, but broken. At this point, l pondered a few options from 1) tossing it in the trash and replacing it with new to 2) fixing it for $150 so it was better than when I in Scott Walker inventory and then trading it in for an upgraded new unit, an option which both parties would have benefit from especially with Scott Walker doubling there money and me being out the cost of repair. So I contacted Scott Walker Audio on two (2) occasions over a week's time and spoke with two people, the last being Josh, and asked to speak with Scott to discuss any options I might have from their perspective. Both times I was told the message would be passed on. A week later, still no call back from Scott or anyone else. While I acknowledge and accepted their return policy of a used unit, and my purchasing power is a the very bottom of what their typical customer who spends $30-$50K, the lack of response has been very disappointing to say the least ESPECIALLY given that Scott Walker Audio is a Rotel Authorized Dealer, the manufacture of the unit. In the future, it is unlikely that I will spend more money there. when there are so many other options to purchase new and used equipment and without a 20% restocking fee for new.

I'm so glad I found Wil Vitela from Home Tech Expert to mount our 77" Sony OLED 4K TV and install…read moreour Sonos sound bar and subwoofer, and he did an amazing job. What's great is that Wil gave us a price for everything so we wouldn't have to buy the equipment elsewhere. Everything came out super clean, organized, and professionally done. You can tell Wil knows his stuff! All wires were hidden in wall and everything was perfectly lined up and leveled. The whole setup looks great and the Sonos bar gave the whole sound gave it a much fuller experience. Wil is really easy to work with, friendly, positive, and professional the entire time. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a quality TV and audio installation. Couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

I hired him thinking I'll help a small business owner instead of BestBuy. I trusted him due to his connection with a real estate networking group out of Brea. He has put me and my family at risk by not finishing the installation of the internet networking equipment that I had purchased. Over $700 that he owes me and the hassle of chasing him down. HPlease don't put yourself into that situation. Here are some pics of messages between us with proof. Also please read some reviews where he has don't this to other people, I didn't bother doing that. How can he sleep at night.

March 2025: what a 5-star appt I had today w Luis! I had requested an advisor in my Yelp…read moresolicitation. I wanted to work with someone and strategize with someone before a tool kit came out into the open. I wanted to brainstorm about a doorbell camera, not just get one cuz everyone has them. We had discussed bumping up my WiFi and he had Eero's in stock/on hand. Boom everything is wicked fast now. Three stories here with an Eero puck/router on each floor. He BEAUTIFULLY re-mounted my Samsung Frame, encouraged my instinct to go Sonos soundbar & a Sonos mini-sub-woofer. He helped me re-synch my Sonos One SL speakers and double checked all his work. I also want to compliment Luis on his dry wall work; always a gnarly option, you never know how that's going to go. We had to do a lot of surgery to get this look - NO wires visible. We opened a couple holes and a channel, he had the right drywall saw and did fine work. Luis offered shoe covers upon arrival and cleaned up after himself with his own broom/dustpan. He also didn't pack up his stuff and dart out as soon as he could, he walked me through the new apps, made sure The Frame was synched and ran performance tests to make sure everything was just right. I'm super thrilled with the state of things around here tonight and will definitely have Luis back for more work in the future! Look at how perfect this hang is; he used two kinds of levels, knew where studs & joists were and wasn't satisfied until we were both satisfied. In…read moreaddition, they installed a extended signal device so that all my TV's will have a good signal as well, for streaming. They were on time with the appointment and very professional while working in my home. They went beyond my requested service call and even helped me with my sound connection to the surround sound. I will be using them in the future when I change out my old receiver. Excellent service!
