Today, staff, knowing that I was very anxious, did everything they could to keep me comfortable - warm blanket, explanations. Dr. Shaner was very skilled in removing my tooth today. I was referred here by a dentist in Cabool for my daughters wisdom teeth extractions recently. I…read morecan say it was quick to get an appointment which was nice so we could max out our dental benefits for the calendar year. The office was nice and clean, but the wait was a little obnoxious considering it was empty. The dentist was friendly and explained everything thoroughly. I did have to call to get a treatment plan whereas I've always been given that upon leaving a dentists office so that was weird. My daughters dad called the insurance and clarified some of the charges, when I called OMS to speak to billing to question some things I was met with a very condescending attitude and told "I'd be happy with only having to pay $326", as if questioning what Cigna said we would be paying Vs what they're "estimate" given was out of line. As a customer I'm not trying to over pay, and they're billing well above their contracted amount per tooth, meaning the amount I'm paying a percentage of is inflated according to the dental insurance company. To speak to someone who is trying to just get clarification in such a condescending manner leaves a real impression on the facility as a whole. Just based on my most recent experience with their billing department on 11/13/2023 I wouldn't recommend this place. I'd find somewhere else where requesting clarification isn't such a burden on their employees.

My 17 year old is not a fan of procedures and was pretty firm on not wanting to have his wisdom teeth removed. I requested a consultation for each of my sons so they could feel confident going into it. Dr. Becker was great. She didn't try to sell either of them on getting it done. She patiently listened to our concerns, answered all of our questions and presented the risks of both options: the risks of surgery, and the risks of leaving their wisdom teeth in place. She did not try to steer us in any direction, which made each of my sons feel comfortable. Both boys were scheduled back to back and everything went very smooth. Prior to the day of surgery, someone in the office went out of her way to follow up with my medical and dental insurances to ensure that we were able to maximize our coverage and reduce out of pocket costs. Dr. Becker and her staff were all very helpful and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them.

Today was my first exposure to anything other than preventive procedures. I must say that Dr Hoff and his staff exceeded my expectations. Instead the old crown was removed, an image was taken of my tooth and the new crown was installed within an hour. This was all done in house---Outstanding R. Fry 1/8/19
