If you've found yourself saying "I should probably go to the chiropractor" then you absolutely need…read moreto go to the chiropractor. Trust me - we're all messing our necks up unfortunately. Like most folks, I am still weary about going to the chiropractor so I do some major due diligence and find the providers with a history of consistent 5-star ratings which brought me here! Dr. Rena Adhut is an excellent provider! I'll be headed back for my third visit today, but that first visit brought such relief. Just the spine stretchy thing and the slight manipulations were heaven. I experienced the expected soarness, but slept significantly better that evening. I've already referred this provider to a few work colleagues already too because they too could use some relief from the neck and shoulder tightness, headaches, and back pain/stiffness. I kidd you not, this was long over due and I was legit shrinking bc of my spine, so now I'm back to my full height haha! and even my sunken clavicle is almost back in it's correct place. Have to quickly shot out the front desk staff here as well just as I did for the Pleasanton location.

I chose Alexander Chiropractics based on their glowing reputation and reviews. After calling and explaining my needs, they knew Dr. Rena would be the best fit. I could not get through this pregnancy without her. Not only is she confident and knowledgeable, she truly is all about patient care. Each visit she spends ample time asking questions and addressing concerns. It's so comforting to have found a provider that not only goes above and beyond in treatment but that you know listens, retains, and doesn't just start cracking without truly assessing what needs addressing that visit.

I have been a patient of Dr. Robyn Chementi for many years, and I am pleased with the results. Yes, it sometimes does smart a bit, but it's worth it. The doctor is now practicing in a brand new facility in Danville, in the pleasant Livery Shopping Center. The office looks brand new, and it's really comfy inside. They even have free coffee in the waiting area. Besides the treatment rooms, they also have an area for massage near the back. On my most recent visit, I had very sore neck and shoulders. The doctor worked out some of the knots, then used the "stim" machine in conjunction with heating pads. "Stim" is just a nice way of saying, "Lets give you some shocks." This is perhaps my favorite part of the treatment. Working at the electric company, I naturally appreciate electrical machines like this. They put electrodes on your body. They sort of stick to you--I think that makes the shocking work better. As the doctor turns up the voltage, you can feel a little bit of tingling, but it's not too severe. You just say, "Stop," and she turns it up a little bit more, then stops. It's pretty exciting. The doctor also released the pressure in my neck and back. She sort of rolls you over and squeezes really hard. At that point, you hear some cracking noises coming from various body parts. But they're usually good cracking noises. It feels really good when it's over. Another fun device is a machine called the "Adjuster." It sounds like something parents use on misbehaving children, but no, it's actually for adjusting parts of your body. The doctor presses it against your back and hits a button. Then, it hammers you sort of like a jackhammer on a street, but not quite that hard. In the old days, it could only adjust you once, but with the electric kind you can adjust the patient a whole bunch of times, with just one button push. It's much more efficient that way. At the end of my treatment, Dr. Robyn also used a fun device called a scraper. (Well okay, that's probably not the scientific term, but it seems accurate anyway.) I thought it was made of plastic, but on a recent visit, the doctor showed it to me. It's actually thick metal. It sort of looks like brass knuckles. She rolls it along your skin digging in a little bit. It's not really as bad as it sounds, and it's very helpful. As the treatment today was proceeding, I actually felt my muscles beginning to relax. Keep in mind that treatment can be a little stressful on your body, so plan on drinking lots of water and perhaps taking a nap afterwards. Of course, I'm far too young to take naps, but you older patients might wish to do so. Seriously, I appreciate the professionalism from Dr. Robyn. Plus, she's just a flat-out nice person. I pretty much trust the doctor, but I still watch carefully when she's at the dials of that stim machine. Trust, but verify.

We were desperate to find someone help us navigate our toddler's severe eczema that had plagued her throughout her entire life as she was suffering in preschool and often had to be kept home due to it. Dermatologists and her pediatrician both kept having us try stronger and stronger topical steroids that we would see temporary relief followed by rebound itching. Dr. Maimone's office was clean and beautiful tucked in downtown Danville. Parking is a bit difficult but we have always been able to get a spot for our appointments. Her staff has always treated our family kindly and professionally. Every appointment with Dr. Maimone has been informative and professional. She always takes her time to answer our questions and give a thorough explanation of the approaches she is taking. Every step made sense along the way. She had us do thorough testing (blood, urine, stool, genetics) and the results were both saddening and enlightening, as our daughter had a multitude of deficiencies in her gut, vitamins, minerals, and certain other distressing markers like inflammation. Some of these were things I had asked her doctors to test due to my research yet they would refuse and say it was unnecessary. You will have to pay out of pocket for this testing but note that it is FSA eligible. After the test results were received, Dr. Maimone formulated a regimen and thoroughly explained every piece. She took the time to find things that a child would be more likely to take or let us know how work around anything that did not taste pleasant. She was aware of contraindications between the supplements to maximize their effectiveness. We never felt pressured to buy anything that would not work for our budget. We started going to her around the end of Q1/beginning of Q2 in 2025. During this time our daughter was incessantly itching and suffering, waking up multiple times a night EVERY night to scratch. She would refuse to wash her hands due to the pain which would result in frequent illness. Other children would make fun of her itching and rashes. We as a family were in constant stress and worry mode. Just one month on the regimen, it was a HUGE improvement. Her teachers seemed astonished by the change and frequently commented about how much better she was doing. She stopped waking at night and her rashes were about 80% improved. We just went through a second round of testing and the results were proof that we were on the right path. Almost all her results were normal. Dr. Maimone provided us with an updated regimen to tackle the remaining deficiencies. Just a month later, we are 95% healed! Her hands were always the biggest struggle as she still had some leftover itching, but the itching has basically ceased and her skin is finally almost fully healed. This is all from less than a year of working with her. We plan to continue to work with Dr. Maimone to help our daughter heal her body. I think that no matter your issue, working with Dr. Maimone will leave you improved in some way, and you will have invested in bettering your health. We are so grateful for her help!

Full review: I could write about all the visits I had, which by choice averages about 1 per week since 8/23/2020 but I want to focus on the experience and what you can look forward to. Acupuncture is more than just physical therapy, at least it is for me. It is working on my physical and mental wellbeing. It is pampering yourself in a good way. If you get getting electro acupuncture, the muscle twitch feels like getting a massage from within the muscles. Once the needles are in place, it becomes an amazing opportunity to get a quick nap or practice meditation. If often use the time to meditate. You can "2 birds with one stone" in healing both the mind and body. You will quickly realize how everything in interconnected within the body. If this is your first time here are 5 things to know: 1. People often are afraid of needles because we imagine the shots we get at the doctor's office. This is completely different. You really don't feel much during the needle placement. If it's your first few times, she will explain the kinds of sensations to look out for. In short, pinchy is not good while a dull ache is. 2. She is also a licensed herbalist as well. Natural herbs and acupuncture walk hand in hand. 3. She explains everything well from what she is doing to why she is doing it. The attention to detail is impressive. 4. As I mentioned in the beginning, she really does want to see you get well. She takes detailed notes about you every time you see her. 5. Trust is extremely important and Sarrah is amazing at making sure you are always comfortable and most importantly, safe. Fact is 3, 4 and 5 can be said about the entire staff of SC Sports Therapy. Dr. Steve is my chiropractor. Once I have a few more visits with him, I will do a full review for Dr. Steve but I can tell you that he is to chiropractic care what Sarrah is to acupuncture, nothing short of exemplary.

We started with a chiropractor in Walnut Creek who way oversold to us after seeing 2-3 times a week for a month wanted us to go to physical therapy because we were having no progress. The first visit with Dr.Ko I could tell the difference in experiences and care we were going to get! My son was very tight on one side leaving him curved to one side and limited mobility to turning his neck to both sides. We also suffered a bunch with gas pain. Dr.Ko was amazing with my son. Within the first appointment we noticed results. After his first appointment he had more mobility in his neck and also in the curvature of his muscles in his spine. My son loves Dr.Ko! We continued to see Dr.Ko after his tongue tie release anytime we noticed anything out of the norm and could always see results! We will continue to see her as long as she's in practice! Third child-- I am not new to the industry or parenting world and each child had tongue/oral ties. As a parent dealing with this, it is emotional and taxing. I wasn't very informed with my first, became more informed with my second and with my third, decided it was best to invest for peace of mind. Pre and post body work is KEY to a successful release. Already with my third, we have had a faster healing process. Dr. Ko is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. My daughter is incredibly different compared to my two boys and it brings me to tears because I wish I had seen her sooner. She goes above and beyond any provider-- she is resourceful and even sends follow up texts to check on you. And how beautiful is it that although I came for my daughter, she has experience with prenatal and postnatal women and ended up servicing me as well and recommending me to a provider to help with my diastasis. We need more holistic providers like herself who genuinely cares for her patients and their families. I wish I could name all the times she really stretched herself for her patients but it is countless to name. I highly recommend Dr. Ko and her team!
