Dr. Brad did it again! I have an underlying condition that causes muscle weakness, leading to tightness and pain. When it gets bad or persistent, he fixes me, usually without a followup visit. He gives me his full attention, allowing me to describe my issues (frequently more than one), in detail, asking questions along the way. He personalizes his treatment based on that. Dr. Bradd is very personable and a pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable about human anatomy and, using charts, explains the neural and muscular pathways that are the source of my pain. I may still have pain that day, but usually feel much better the next day. I can generally get a same-day appointment. I went for a two hour deep tissue massage. It was intensely painful and amazing. Kyle is incredible. Although I'm sore I feel a sense of relaxation and looseness in my body that I haven't felt in a long time. It was worth it and I'll be back. Hopefully next time it hurts a little less! They are using Covid precautions. It was lovely that the owner, Dr. Cantrell, introduced herself As I was checking out. I can't say enough good things about this place. Angela, or Dr. Cantrell, is so amazing. I found her at a different chiro clinic before she spun off to do her own thing and I am so happy I did. When I found her, I went in initially to deal with some pain after having my first child. She helped me for a year after I had my first child before I got pregnant with my second. It was easy to schedule with her clinic and everyone who works there is super friendly and wonderful. When I had my second child, I started to have back pain again and have been going back to see her. I'll drive 20 minutes anywhere for the care and service that I get at this clinic. Throughout many years, I've went to a variety of chiropractors. They've never really panned out for me. Many have been too aggressive with adjustments while others not enough. I've had neck pain for the past 10+ years ( accidents, etc) and it was getting worse. My neck and spine doc suggested I see a chiro and Acupuncture in addition to other treatment. Well.. I rolled my eyes as if .."please that's not going to help!" I'm skeptical but I go. That's where Dr. Cantrell comes in. I walk in and notice how nice her new office is- very professional and so clean. We sat and talked before she recommended any adjustments. She was able to understand my lifestyle, fears about making my neck worse and overall skepticism of what works and doesn't for me. I should also mention that I tense up when I know the "crack" is coming up, telling her that she has her work cut out! She reassured me, gave me great tips and videos on exercises and tools. And the best part, she adjusted my neck a few times where I never thought it possible. She's gentle but firm which works for me. Dr. Cantrell is great at what she does. I was in so much pain. I had extreme stiffness in my neck and shoulder. My normal Chiropractor is way out in Hayward, I work in Livermore and live in San Ramon. Being in so much pain I didn't have the time or desire to drive to Hayward. I found Dr. Cantrell on Yelp, she had great reviews. She was able to get me in same after verifying my Kaiser coverage. Dr. Cantrell does deep tissue work, and oh my goodness does she have strong hands. Be sure to let her know your comfort level. She went on on my neck and shoulder and did some small adjustments. Dr. Richardson is incredibly personable, transparent, and thorough. He is excellent at efficiently diagnosing your problems areas and fixing them quickly! I originally came to him after months of trying to deal with an injured back. Some days I couldn't even get out of bed. I came in because I had what I thought was shin splints and Angela was able to help me diagnose what was causing me pain. She spent a lot of time ruling out other things it could be and was very systematic in that process. She was able to correctly figure out my problem and show me where she could feel I was have pain. So, I have regular back problems. I admit it. I am a wreck. I have tried many different things within my lifetime. But, I have found that ART (Active Release Therapy) seems to help me fairly greatly. So, I have been on the hunt for someone to help me with ART. I have gone to other chiropractors -- some of them great, some of them so-so, some of them just plain a waste of time. But, then I found Angela. All I can say is that after one treatment I felt better. Mind you, I don't think that it will necessary stick, but I think with continued treatment that it will help quite a bit. She cannot preform miracles (especially on my back), but it certainly helps/helped. That said, if you are looking for someone that is huge on the pop pop pop that most chiropractors do/enjoy -- Angela is not your lady. However, if you are looking to teach your well trained muscles to stop being stupid, Angela IS your lady. She understands what is going on with YOUR body --- even though you might not. I love it.
