Scott was a referral from a friend, great experience in communicate with him by phone and texting. He was able to send his partner Brandon over to check out my AC system within my limited schedule. Brandon was very good in explaining what I need to do to maintain the system in good condition. I was worry it is making a loud noise that is very unusual the past several weeks. He didn't push to replace anything and was able to check certain areas to make sure it is working properly. I would highly recommend anyone who needs help with their AC unit to go with them. First of all, Scott was able to come out to my house on the very same day I called, which was wonderful. But even better, there was absolutely no pushiness or "hard-sell" attitude whatsoever, as there has been with with other AC companies I've called in the past who wanted to convince me I needed to buy a whole new unit. My air conditioner was not running properly and he came and went right to work checking everything out. Wouldn't you know it, it worked just fine when he came! I would highly recommend. We had another hvac contractor come in to diagnose our 3 year old furnace, and they could not resolve the issue even after two visits and recommended repairs that ultimately were not needed. I can't recommend Scott Air enough! Keller came to fix my mom's heater and AC. He was so nice and an expert in his field. He went above and beyond to investigate the heater leaking problem and found that it was actually a non-capped (and cracked) vent coming out of the roof. Had issues with my AC over the last few years. Had at least 3 different companies out performing various evaluations and maintenance but never providing a long term solution. My AC was losing its gas and not blowing cold enough air. One company told me 17k for a whole new system and that was their solution. Scott Air was recommended to me. We used Scott to installed a new HVAC system at our Mission Viejo home. It is an older home and needed some return air vents added to effectively cool the upstairs. He also swapped out our asbestos ducting. We needed to permit the system and he took care of all of the permits. We have used him on several rental properties for services calls and tunes ups. Scott and his team are true professionals. High quality work and excellent customer service is what sets Scott Air apart from other HVAC companies. The original HVAC unit from the mid 80s was falling apart, inefficient, along with having moisture issues in the return path and throughout many of the ducting runs. Scott came over late one evening to accommodate my late work schedule and did a very thorough inspection of the entire system and came up with a very reasonable quote within a few days. My entire HVAC system was redone (NEST thermostats, furnace, all ducting, condenser, new registers, new gas and electrical routing to attic) As with many homes the furnace is located in the garage with just one large return affixed to the other side of the garage wall. I mentioned it would be great if he could install the furnace in the attic which he was able to do for a very fair cost add-on. Scott and team installed 3 returns upstairs in different regions to allow for better, quicker and more efficient cooling. In the summer the hot upstairs air is quickly pulled out which makes cooling the home very fast. The layout of the furnace and ducting was well thought out to allow for a very clean look while maintaining adequate attic storage space. To make the system even better Scott added a damper to set up for a dual-zone system so the upstairs/downstairs can be run independently or together with a thermostat for each zone. The system runs flawless. On top of this his guys added a 3-stage "Clean-Air system" (Air Oasis) to the furnace I had purchased to provide additional layers of air purification. We have 2 AC units for our house that are both 20 years old. Our house was not cooling off this past summer and both units were running constantly. A friend recommended Scott Air to us. He gave us a bid to replace both units as I had requested but also stated that he could probably fix 1 of the units so it could possibly last another 5 or more years. He could have easily persuaded us to replace both units but he gave us options to consider. His price for the 1 new unit was a little below the average estimate that we had received from other contractors. When it was time to do the work he was on time, efficient and clean. The final bill was exactly the same as the estimate. (including repairing the 2nd unit). I had a question about our new thermostat a couple of days later and he returned my phone call within an hour.
