Physical therapy needs attention. I recently went for an evaluation for PT. I have family members who have had positive experience with the Chiropractor and one of the PT workers (younger male). Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience. The afternoon PT worker was more interested in pushing his MLM that helping me with my treatment. At one point he took my number, I assumed it was for appointments purposes. Odd because the front desk has my contact information. Turns out it was to send me a video to push a "miracle oil". I decided not to return and to elsewhere. Best thing I ever did. The new practice was wonderful. We did a number of exercises, gave me a workout plan for home, discussed what to look for with footwear and suggested adaptive equipment my insurance would cover. What a difference! I feel sad that people come for help and they are being pushed a product. People who need PT are vulnerable, often elderly or young kids on sports teams. They need help getting back to their normal activities. It wasn't professional or at all ethical. read more

My first time coming here because of a work injury which the pain hasn't gone away for months now. I have to say I absolutely love Dr.Cruz's bedside manner. So pleasant!! She is the best and her massages make me feel so much better. Also, the front desk is very welcoming and are very nice. Fast at answering their phones and booking you an appointment! I love Dr. Cruz, my only issues is I go on my lunch break and my last visit i went with my child and had to see Dr Cruz. I was given a time with staff knowing I am utilizing my lunch break to get seen. I came to my visit and 2 other woman came after me and was seen prior to (not sure who they were seeing) but I was put in a room with my child for almost 20 minutes. The doc never came and I ad to leave. The main thing is the front desk staff. Not sure if it's a color thing but their were no apologies, no care given being I could not make the appt and had to go. The staff shows no concern really and it's like "whatever" to them. Not trying to make it a race thing but they make me super uncomfortable. BUT I LOVE Dr. CRUZ!!!! read more

This was my first time in this chiropractor office and the 5 star review was definitely for Dr. Cruz. So the downside, when I got to the office I was greeted and I filled out some paper work as a new patient I waited a few minutes as expected. A little bit after, a second receptionist came to the front of the reception area and started complaining about the time I arrived which was a few minutes before I was scheduled she tried speaking in a low voice but was loud enough for me to hear her. She calls my name and I start walking to the back,she stops me in the hall and tells me since "I" ran late the dr wouldn't be able to treat me and all she would do is give me a consultation. I simply told her I was on time and if the dr couldn't treat me or spend time with me and my condition what was the point of even seeing the dr. Which she replied idk the dr will do the best she can......... I was very disappointed as I'm the patient coming for care.! To my surprise I was greeted and treated by an amazing DR who listened to all my concerns and took her time to explain ever step of her treatment methods, with gentle hands she helped me out and started an action plan for my treatment. Had it not been for Dr. Cruz I wouldn't return nor would I recommend this place, however I will continue my treatment and return rather than looking for somewhere else. A bit of advice for a medical establishment, your receptionist are your frontline and it's imperative that they are knowledgeable as kind. They SHOULDN'T be telling a patient they might not been seen or treated, because again we are coming to you and trusting you to help us with our pain. 6 months ago I had Bilateral total knee replacement (both knees replaced at the same time). I started going to physical therapy before the surgery because I was having pain within both of my knees. The ortho dr I saw said there was only something wrong with my right knee, but it was my left that was paining me so bad. With the suggestion from my physical therapist Béla Gesztesi to get an MRI done, we found my issue. I went to a specialist at Montefiore Hospital and had my surgery. With all the confidence in the world in the way Béla handles his patients, I did my rehab with him after my surgery. He offered confidence, professionalism and genuine caring to my situation. It is very important to gain your ROM (range of motion) within the first 6 weeks after surgery and Béla did everything in his power to get me to the maximum. I am forever grateful to him for working with me and reassuring me that I can do it. Total knee replacement is a hard surgery to heal from but Béla helped me through this process with his sincerest concern for my situation. The office help is very pleasant to deal with also, which I find very important in a practice. I would definitely recommend this office for your physical therapy. read more
