Of course the Orthopedist will recommend what procedure is to be done, based on the patient's condition, diagnosis, test results and other factors. The staff is very conscientious in maintaining sanitary conditions and the patient's wellbeing. I feel very confident going to them. When I saw Jackie at that first visit she was great, but at the third visit I made the "unforgiveable sin" of admitting I still had some pain even with the meds. She then proceeded to lecture me about chasing a high ( then lied and said she never said that) and said she would not treat me anymore. She never asked me any followup questions, and just became very judgemental and totally uncaring, I'm a 60 year old woman with Crohn's disease, a debilitating and uncurable disease, and for her to compare my pain with other patient's as insignificant and possibly nonexistant was outrageous. This was a devastating experience, Jackie Muckians's behavior was totally unprofessional. Fortunately I found a new doctor who understands the disease and is treating me properly and with empathy.

The deferred care was due to my travel schedule and that was on me. What is on them, however was a rigorous schedule of PT which I was devoted to that made my symptoms feel worse. The doctor there whose name escapes me, sent me to PT. After many many weeks, I went back to the physician, whose office is located right in the same building tells me he has no plan to fix the problem, but merely to deal with the symptoms. Back to the PT itself: the first visit was very thorough and attentive. Subsequent visits were basically feeling like one is on his or her own - you sign in and people are available if you have questions but in most cases, nobody's really checking to see if you're doing things properly or risking further injury. I went for many many weeks, always on time. Always early to check in on a very long line. My early appointments meant that I was one of just a handful of patients yet the one time I was online for an additional time causing me to get to the window. About five minutes late, they refused my appointment. That was kind of the last straw for me. They lost me as a patient and I would not recommend them unless they have made major changes to patient oversight/assistance during and throughout the physical therapy sessions, and get back to health and not wealth.

The day of the visit, things moved quickly. The doctor's assistant, Lorraine, was wonderful and knew how to approach and work with a 91-year-old woman. What an asset she is to the company. Assistant ranked: 5/5:-) 3. Dr. Vincent Miseo was also wonderful with my mom. He spoke to her, showed her the xrays and explained in detail about her injury. He recommended physical therapy. AFTER WE LEFT THE OFFICE, I realized she was given a script for outpatient PT, and as she is homebound, she needed a different script that included face-to-face, patient demographics, and a note to match. I sent a second EMAIL. NO RESPONSE. Today I CALLED the scheduling department, and she told me that my best bet to get through to triage was to wait on hold. I waited 1 HOUR and 40 MINUTES. Due to this experience, which is not my first NEGATIVE encounter with what I will assign the category CUSTOMER CARE, I have to rate the system of responding to patients and their families a 0/5. This is frustrating and time-consuming, and leads me to believe that those in charge of this physician-owned practice don't really care about patients. If they did, they would realize that COMMUNICATION IS KEY. Yet, this company does everything NOT TO COMMUNICATE once they have a person established as a patient. This is not a one-time experience. Two years ago, my mother broke her wrist, and the lack of communication and the ability to get in touch with a doctor was nonexistent. There has been no improvement in the system.
