Margherita pizza
Nazanin S.

Score lets you customize your own pizza! Their oven-baked goodies are excellent, blazed in the oven right in front of you, and it's the first pizza where I actually enjoyed eating the crust (true story) because it was so deliciously thin and delicate. I tried their regular margherita pizza and loved it. The staff there is also very friendly, but a downside is that no reservations can be made so try to have back-ups plans in case Score is full (which is often due to its popularity with the student population)!

We visited Score last Friday night for the first time and what a great experience it was right from the start. The employees greeted us right when we walked and and asked if we needed any help. My girlfriend is Vegan and it's rare to find a fast food pizza place that has non dairy cheese but we were surprised they had it - not only that the guy I forgot his name not only said no worries but he changed his gloves to handle the cheese which was amazing. I knew right after something so small like that the pizza would be amazing and it was - we ended up going again the next day. Thank you Score Pizza

TL;DR - decent pizza with generous topping offerings Score Pizza is a Kingston mainstay. You will find it packed 24/7 with students and locals alike. The main appeal of Score is the customizable toppings - for the same price, you can put as many toppings as you would like. The variety of accoutrements really impressed us. They had everything from roasted garlic, to asiago cheese, to chorizo sausage. The only danger is to avoid going overboard. Mixing and mingling too many toppings lead to weird flavours, a soggier pizza, and overall dampened the eating experience. Our favourite is a mixed base of pesto and spicy tomato, with chorizo, ham, and some veggies. Finally, Score Pizza is a far cry from authentic Italian pizza. This was not reminiscent of any high quality pie found in New York or Napoli. That doesn't make it bad though - this experience was fun and exciting, and the resulting product really was tasty.

Such a great little gem in Kingston! We went to visit a friend in Kingston and she recommended this restaurant. Needless to say, we were very impressed with the quality of the pizza and the number of toppings available for customization! They have 2 sizes that can be customized 6" or 12". Then you have lots of sauces and toppings to choose before adding a final drizzle. You can even add extra of the same topping at no additional cost, just ask for more! After you're done, grab a seat and wait while your pizza is being cooked. It took about 10 minutes and the pizzas came out perfectly crisp and delicious. I enjoy the thinness of the crust as it made it so much easier to eat - especially with the number of toppings I had on it. I definitely would recommend coming here. It's a great place to stop quickly if you're on a time crunch but also an amazing place to catch up with friends!!

Add anything you like.

Score Pizza was a wonderful find for us Pizza Lovers. My daughter suggested we go there for dinner and we had one of the best Pizza meals ever. They have such a unique way of choosing your pizza and you get to direct them how to build it right in front of you. There was definitely a young vibe in the joint, being so close to Queen's University. You must try this place to see how good a pizza experience can be!

“For a 12 inch pizza that I could have for myself and put whatever toppings I wished on it, it was only $13, perfect for those on a student budget.”

A gem of a bakery and cafe in downtown Kingston!…read more My review is only for the bakery and store portion of Pan Chancho. I haven't had the chance to dine in the cafe yet, mostly because it gets extremely busy, especially on weekends. That said, the bakery/store has so many great finds. Their bread is excellent quality and a great value for the size, at around $5 for a small loaf and $8 for a larger one. My favorite is the olive rosemary sourdough, which is absolutely delicious. The saucisson sec is another great local find. The baked goods offer a nice rotating variety, with everything from Québec maple chômeurs to Italian maritozzi. On my last visit, I tried the Vietnamese coffee panna cotta, which was excellent. There's also an large gluten-free selection, ranging from breads to fresh-baked goods. The gluten-free scones are a particular standout. Beyond the food, Pan Chancho also has a great selection of kitchen and pantry-related items, including spices, pasta, sauces, hand towels, reusable bags, and more. It's the kind of place where you can go in for a loaf of bread and easily leave with a whole bag of interesting little things. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in downtown Kingston! The bakery alone is reason enough to visit, even if you don't get a chance to sit down at the cafe.

Coming from NC, the filling tasted like the inside of a pecan pie. Delicious! My Americano coffee was strong and hit the spot. My MIL and I also purchased baguettes and a cinnamon roll. This was my birthday breakfast and it was so good! Tommy's…read moreis a cute little 50's diner. I loved the checkerboard floor and the records on the ceiling. The place is a bit dated and could use some fresh updates to the decorating, but it was still charming, comfortable seating, had tv to watch...but was VERY hot inside. My trip to Kingston fell, of course, during that heat dome event...and I already HATE summer and hot weather. The temperature in the restaurant wasn't terrible but I was sweating. Turned out to be worth it. They have a full bar and Laura, my server, made me a pineapple mimosa on request. She looked to be handling the fairly busy place by herself with help from I believe the owner or manager. She handled everything very well and wasn't too busy to tell me Happy Birthday (I had on a shirt and she was one of the few people who did) and chat a bit and be friendly. I appreciated that. She was obviously very hot running inside and out to the patio tables, but she maintained her composure and worked very hard. I ordered the breakfast poutine and they added the pulled pork to it when I asked. I also got a side of the baked beans. The fries were very fresh, crispy and tender. There were scrambled eggs, fresh crumbled bacon, cheese sauce and that glorious pulled pork on top. I really enjoyed this dish. Great idea, breakfast poutine! While eating I got to speak the owner (I believe she was). She was from Arizona so we are both dual citizens. We had a good talk about Dump decimating the US. The owner is a very liberal, accepting, kind person. Makes you feel good to support businesses run by compassionate people. The service was great. Food was phenomenal. Yes, the beans were so tasty too. Kind staff. Cute decor. I am returning to Kingston in October and will definitely be stopping in at Tommy's again. Fantastic diner food!

I only came here for drinks with friends. I got 2 mystery cocktails to try and both is taste good…read more Its a nice clubing / party vibes
