Their oven-baked goodies are excellent, blazed in the oven right in front of you, and it's the first pizza where I actually enjoyed eating the crust (true story) because it was so deliciously thin and delicate. I tried their regular margherita pizza and loved it. Sucks. Sorry Score but your pizza now officially sucks - on my rating scale at least. I actually feel I've been ripped off as a consumer. We ordered two Score pizzas. One was by our design and the other their margarita. The margarita was promoted as having sauce, cheese (maybe it was mozzarella or bocconcini) and basil. When we opened the box what we received was a pizza crust that was burned/charred on one half. All we could see was red sauce. And on some of the slices there was a 1 inch square of cheese. Yes, some. Some slices did not even have a trace of cheese. So essentially we got a burned crust covered in red sauce with a few small pieces of cheese and about 6 basil leaves. Pathetic. No care had been taken to prepare a proper pizza - some Score employee just threw this thing together as quickly as possible without any care whatsoever for the end product. Obviously the company is not managing their employees or their business well. They've lost our business for sure. read more

We visited Score last Friday night for the first time and what a great experience it was right from the start. The employees greeted us right when we walked and and asked if we needed any help. My girlfriend is Vegan and it's rare to find a fast food pizza place that has non dairy cheese but we were surprised they had it - not only that the guy I forgot his name not only said no worries but he changed his gloves to handle the cheese which was amazing. This review is for the Kingston township one. I dont know what happened but we phoned because we were convinced we had the wrong pizza's. Beware.....what ever items you choose they will put 1 or 2 of them on your pizza. Not anymore. You basically have to use a magnifying glass to see the topings...especially cheese and meat. They hide it with arugula. So basically its greens on a flat bread for 15 bucks. I think someone is trying to make more money and screwing the customers. read more

I love pizza, and this place is pretty great. Cheerful staff, clean restaurant and yummy food that you get to customize. I had the mini pizza with one topping and I was a little sad about the size when I first saw it and thought, darn, I should have got a regular.. It is pretty mini compared to the regular pizzas but dont be fooled, I was full by the end. If you are starving or want to share a pizza, def recommend getting the regular size. The pizza was actually pretty darn good! Thin dough, tangy-sweet red sauce, lots of cheese. It can get a tad pricey, the hubby got a regular build it your own pizza, drink and a brownie for 20$. Such a smart concept! Basically a build to order pizza experience, almost like a Subway but waaaaaaay better. The hubster and I were in town (my hometown!) visiting my dear dad over the holidays and decided to walk to Score to pick up some pies for dinner. Note, they do not take orders over the phone but offer take out or dine in depending on what you are looking for. If you dine in, they do offer beer (and maybe wine!) for purchase along with your meal. You get to choose the size of pizza - mini or regular then you get to add unlimited toppings to the pie! Yes, I said unlimited. We told my dad that and he decided (without hesitation) that he wanted ALL of the meats on his. We did warn him it would likely be soggy but he didn't care. When we built his pizza, the girl behind the counter added the toppings all over but sparingly (in a good way!) so as not to overcrowd the pizza. I went with their veggie option and the hubby created his own masterpiece. We also grabbed a brownie and chocolate chip cookie to go (both were totally delish). By the time we walked back to my dad's place, the pizzas were still warm and were totally yummy. My dad's pie, even though it was loaded up with all of the animals in the kingdom, still magically remained crispy somehow. TL;DR - decent pizza with generous topping offerings Score Pizza is a Kingston mainstay. You will find it packed 24/7 with students and locals alike. The main appeal of Score is the customizable toppings - for the same price, you can put as many toppings as you would like. The variety of accoutrements really impressed us. They had everything from roasted garlic, to asiago cheese, to chorizo sausage. The only danger is to avoid going overboard. Mixing and mingling too many toppings lead to weird flavours, a soggier pizza, and overall dampened the eating experience. Our favourite is a mixed base of pesto and spicy tomato, with chorizo, ham, and some veggies. Finally, Score Pizza is a far cry from authentic Italian pizza. This was not reminiscent of any high quality pie found in New York or Napoli. That doesn't make it bad though - this experience was fun and exciting, and the resulting product really was tasty. read more

Such a great little gem in Kingston! We went to visit a friend in Kingston and she recommended this restaurant. Needless to say, we were very impressed with the quality of the pizza and the number of toppings available for customization! They have 2 sizes that can be customized 6" or 12". Then you have lots of sauces and toppings to choose before adding a final drizzle. You can even add extra of the same topping at no additional cost, just ask for more! After you're done, grab a seat and wait while your pizza is being cooked. It took about 10 minutes and the pizzas came out perfectly crisp and delicious. I enjoy the thinness of the crust as it made it so much easier to eat - especially with the number of toppings I had on it. I definitely would recommend coming here. It's a great place to stop quickly if you're on a time crunch but also an amazing place to catch up with friends!! read more

This place was a pleasant surprise! I had heard great things through the grapevine and it did not leave me disappointed. The service was really fast and personable! I was expecting a really long wait time, but it was surprisingly fast. It only took 10 minutes to get me my pizza, and there were many people at the restaurant! A good option to either bring back home, or sit down with some friends and family. There were a variety of toppings and I could not have been happier with the selection. Since being introduced to score pizza by a co-worker we eat here quite often! Amazing selection of pizzas and toppings. Anytime I've asked for extra cheese or any topping the staff were more than happy to add a little extra. Justin gets a special mention as he is always smiling happy and makes for great customer experience. We talked to the manager on our last visit about the great service and he was so attentive and receptive to the feedback of our previous experiences. Came here for the first time Friday night. Quite busy with a long line almost to the door, but it moved pretty fast. Workers are friendly and efficient, but a little stingy on the toppings. Each topping I had to ask for them to add some more (they seemed not to mind, but it would be nice if they were generous from the start). Cool concept to build-your-own pizza, for one fixed price regardless of toppings. Seems too good to be true, so I was wondering where the quality would be lacking. When I bit into the pizza, I got my answer. The crust had absolutely no flavor, and for me, that matters. The toppings were fine, but crust is a big part of pizza (in my opinion), and this one unfortunately tasted like cardboard. I would rather have a nice gourmet local pizza (Woodenheads, Atomica) and really taste the quality and craftsmanship, OR go totally in the other direction and get some Paradiso or Tony's take-out pizza. Score pizza is kind of a weird "in between" pizza place. It's not fancy, but not a hole-in-the-wall pizza joint either. Personally, it's not for me, but from the booming business I would say plenty of people love it, so I'm sure it will be in Kingston for a long time! read more
