Way too much bread and very little amount of soup. Despite of it all the soups were delicious!!

My husband and I have just recently discovered Panera Bread. We really like the atmosphere and the food is very flavourful and seems to be low in salt (hopefully it is). The "pick 2" option is very filling with our choice being a small soup and 1/2 sandwich with an apple as a side. The calories are listed right on the menu board too. Today we had an Onion Soup which was by far the best onion soup I have ever had in a restaurant. The Caramel Apple Scones were slightly dry (as a scone likely are to be) but very favourable. The sandwiches were good but not overly memorable.

Wow. Our family loves Panera bread and I'm ecstatic that Kingston has one as I drive to Toronto every so often. It's so awesome as they had a solid menu of sandwiches, soups and salads. It's perfect lunch food. Or light snack or dinner. Now if they could just come to Montreal. Lol like that would happen. Seriously, with Panera bread as an option why would one set foot in a Subway or Tim Hortons? I mean okay I understand there are some who are brand loyal but I am not a fan of the Yellow Sub nor Timmy Ho Ho's. On my visit I enjoyed a nice turkey sandwich and their M&M cookies are the stuff dreams are made of. Good stuff all around. Service and selection was top notch!

This was a good Panera. Clean store, great staff, similar design, same great Panera radio. Definitely a fan favourite.

Gangnam Style - Gangnam Style - Sweet & Spicy Boneless Fried Chicken. It's a huge & crunchy half portion.

This starts from the basic decor to the Korean lady traditionally running the kitchen. Menu prices were very reasonable, catering to the student demographic. Gam Ja Tang (pork bone soup) was a pleasant surprise, with large pieces of pork neck bone and fall-off-the-bone meat in the mildly spicy fresh kimchi broth. But the potato could've used more time to soak up the bold soup flavours. The colourful Bibimbap was served with a nice runny egg but the chopped vegetables caused stirred rice to be watery. That was atoned by a popping platter of Korean Seasoned Fried Chicken in sweet & spicy gochujang sauce. The boneless half portion was huge. Pieces were crunchy & saucy in one bite! This restaurant is a short drive up Princess St from downtown with city parking nearby. Both patio & indoor dining options were available. Service was smooth & easygoing. Glad to enjoy this spot for an authentic Korean meal among the few Asian food options in town.

This renowned establishment, primarily known for its takeout options, promised to deliver a unique and memorable experience. As we entered the restaurant on a warm weekend, I couldn't help but admire the tastefully designed decor and the ambiance that was a perfect blend of tranquility and cultural authenticity. The safe and spacious seating arrangements complemented the contemporary expectations of comfort and safety, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience. However, the promising first impression began to wane as we encountered a noticeable shortcoming--customer service. For a restaurant of such stature, I anticipated a warm and inviting reception. Regrettably, our arrival was met with indifference. The employee behind the counter, absorbed in their computer, provided only a cursory nod in acknowledgment. Our party was left to our own devices, with no one extending a greeting or guiding us to a table. After seating ourselves, a considerable amount of time elapsed before a server finally attended to our needs and initiated the order-taking process. Oddly, the restaurant was far from crowded during our visit, with only two other tables occupied. This made the lackluster service even more perplexing. The sluggishness of the service extended to every aspect of our dining experience. Our inquiries for recommendations, especially considering my limited knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine, yielded disappointingly sparse information. The lack of guidance left me questioning whether I would return to this establishment. The true litmus test of any dining experience, however, lies in the food. In this regard, Pho did have its moments. Several dishes from the à la carte menu presented generous portions that were challenging to finish, even for my adult son. The flavors were generally good, with a delightful taste that teased the palate. Yet, the devil was in the details. Regrettably, my order for spicy fried rice with extra hot sauce left me wanting. The dish that arrived at our table was far from the fiery delight I had anticipated, and I had to request additional hot sauce to salvage the spiciness I had hoped for. In conclusion, my inaugural experience at Pho was a mixed bag, defined by both highs and lows. The exquisite decor and ambiance, coupled with the delectable flavors of some dishes, provided moments of culinary delight. However, the subpar customer service, lack of guidance, and inconsistencies in food preparation marred what could have been an exceptional dining experience. While I appreciate the positives, it is clear that improvements are needed in areas critical to a memorable dining adventure. Whether or not I return to Pho in the future will depend on the degree to which these issues are addressed. I hope to see the restaurant reach its full potential, offering a consistently outstanding experience to diners who seek a taste of Vietnamese cuisine.

All dishes were very unique and very flavorful. The red curry was outstanding. Some of the best I've ever tried, and red curry is always my go-to dish for Thai restaurants. They are not stingy with the basil! The green curry soup had a hint of sourness as per its name, but it's not really sour. It was delicious and very much like the traditional Thai green curry except in soup form. The pad Thai was beautiful looking but in general I don't enjoy pad Thai as one of my favorites. My dad said he enjoyed it, but I wasn't really able to judge by just a few bites. My least favorite of the 4 entrees for sure. Mom ordered number 5, a chicken stir fry. It was in a yellowish curry like sauce. It didn't seem flavorful at first but after a few bites it really grew on me. I ended up eating the rest of the sauce after she had finished all the veggies and chicken. Prices were around $13 for each meal and they had special dishes for $15. Pretty good deal considering the portion sizes are very big. I loved it!!

If you got a dish for the price, you got a lot of food. Imagine the largest hour for box size and it is definitely filled to the top. As of any restaurant, the predominant portion of food is rice or noodles. I got the pad Thai and it was a little bit on the acidic end of the spectrum for me. But otherwise it was tasty, although a little bit bland.
