While at the airport, I stopped to grab a cup of coffee. This was a terrible experience. Service was unnecessarily rude. She was impatient and rude. I could look past this. I ordered a large brewed coffee, black. The coffee was bad. Really, really bad. I don't even know how coffee could turn out this bad. I drink a lot of coffee every day. Most of the time I make it my self, alternating between a french press and a pour-over at home. On occasion, I grab a coffee while I'm out. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not so good. I've never had a cup of coffee this bad in my life! Somehow, the have maximized and combined sour, bitter, and stale flavors. It didn't smell or taste of coffee at all. Really subpar, but I couldn't give Scooter's just one star because I believe that the employees are doing the best that they can with what they've been given! First time trying Scooters, they are all over the place here in Omaha and Lincoln where is was working, stopped by this Airport location to finally try it out. The service lady was nice, but the coffee is just coffee nothing special had the Mocha and yes it is chocolaty but that's it the coffee flavor is nonexistent very bland and boring, also got me a Pecan danish, looked good, she did warm it up, but obviously this was an old roll maybe from the prior day and parts were hard not very good, the Pecans and flavor were good to bad it was hard even when warmed. I'm only giving one star because the coffee was good. The service was horrible. "Ms. Personality" behind the counter seemed inconvenienced with my order. I just don't know what has happened to customer service. I experienced similar when I first arrived here to Omaha, at another locale/restaurant. I come from the Hospitality industry. I expect stellar service and at the very least a pleasant service provider. No greeting. No thank you. No helping me when I asked what the cold blended drink was called- (it's a smoothie,by the way) in San Diego where I'm from they are called Mocha Ice Storm- so beg my pardon. Didn't catch her name. These girls are clearly overwhelmed. While our drinks were made fairly quickly considering the line of people waiting, they still got our order wrong. After saying "no whip" and her confirming, she asked again..."just to be sure." I said "yep, no whip." Guess who had whip cream on her drink? *raises hand* The Scooters I've been to in suburban neighborhoods had 3-4 people working and this just had room for two. I got an iced turtle latte at this Scooter's at the airport yesterday evening before my flight to Denver. In general, I wish the little stores and restaurants at the airport would stay open a bit later, but I do think the employees themselves are accommodating even when they've already started to clean up for closing. The latte tasted richer than I thought the sugar free version would be; so, I do actually question if I got the lower calorie version, but it was tasty! It was pricey, too, but at the airport even Taco Bell seems expensive. read more

Horrible, horrible experience with this Scooter's! Ordered a soy caramelicious latte before my flight and waited for over 15 minutes for it to be made. I finally approached the bar to ask about my drink, as my flight was boarding. The barista insisted it had been made and someone already took it. I explained that I didn't get my drink or heard it called (I was standing there the whole time). Both employees looked like they could care less. I asked if they were close to making it, as I needed to leave, and reminded them it was soy. The girl at the register said "She is going to start it now." Seconds later a soy caramelicious was called and I grabbed it and ran to my gate. There is no way it could have been made that fast, but I didn't have time to ask any questions. I can't have dairy, as my nursing baby cannot tolerate it and is in pain with any dairy I have, so I waited for my husband to check it before I drank any of it. Sure enough.. It was some sort of hot chocolate/mocha milk drink. Not my drink. $7 + for a soy latte I never got and had been looking forward to before our early morning flight. I had even tipped the girl when I ordered!! Wish I could get my money back, but I was stuck running to my gate to catch my flight with a disappointing coffee that I couldn't drink, out almost 10 bucks. I wish the baristas had been more caring of the situation.. I would have been fine if they'd admitted to forgetting it or jumped in to make it or even cared. This place is a disgrace, plain and simple. All of the "pastries" are a day or more old and are kept in plastic clamshells. If you order a drink, be aware that nothing is fresh and don't be deceived by the words "word class coffee" in their logo. They are too stingy to even put fresh milk out on the counter near the sugar. You can choose from packets of non dairy creamer or half and half. I assume Scooters is a chain and these people bought the rights to use it for recognition but not the quality. There's a hand written sign on the register that they don't accept the Scooters app. read more

Honestly probably the worst coffee and the worst I have ever received. You are much better off getting a cup of ice and a Starbucks coffee in a bottle from the gift shop. When I ordered I asked what would be the closest thing to a Caramel Macchiato and her reply was "We don't sell those" I replied, Yes I know what do you have close to that. She repeated what she already said so I asked if she was familiar with the drink and said yes and they don't sell them but could make me a drink with Caramel in it. I agreed and regretted it instantly. She let me know that was the best she could do so I left the drink after paying and walked away. read more

Located past security, so expect to pay airport prices. While not your typical Scooters, their coffee is consistent with other locations. They have always been fast and efficient in keeping the line moving here, but on occasion they have been out of some basic breakfast items. Overall it is 'the only' option for a decent cup of coffee, and luckily it is pretty good. read more

Wanted a soy latte, but settled for skim when I learned the soy comes from the same dairy that makes the milk (why would a dairy make soy milk?). Anyway, the overworked girl behind the counter took the milk pitcher to a sink with a blender full of murky water. She then proceeded to rinse the milk pitcher with the murky water. I should have said something, but I was trying to convince myself that I was being a snob, the milk would be steamed and it's not THAT gross. She finished making the drink and I asked what she rinsed the pitcher with. She told me that it was rinse water and then she used fresh water (which I did not see). I apologized and said I didn't want the drink anymore. The area behind the espresso machine was also dirty and all the lids were splayed out on the counter (probably so those stupid stickers could be affixed)--both non-plusses. read more
