I was mistaken. Everything was so over salty, it was hard to distinguish the actual taste of the food. My ham was inedible. The hash browns, gravy and eggs had a metallic taste. Finally, the biscuits were so dry we only ate one out of the four between us. The saving grace was our server. She did a wonderful job. As always, the store was the only highlight.

What a HUGE disappointment! Everything was bad. Ordered the Old timers with sausage, i am not sure what their sausage is made from but it had a strange reddish color and had the texture of jerky! Aweful! The biscuits were over cooked and hard, like they were a day old... i was there at 10am and couldnt get a fresh biscuit. Hashbrowns were so greasy that they literaly were oozing grease or butter not sure. Country gravy had no taste what so ever. They did cook my eggs right so that is the only plus i can give them.

The staff were unprofessional, and the whole atmosphere made me feel uncomfortable. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Our waiter, whom I am forgetting the name, was very sweet, bubbly, and made sure, even with the variety of food not being in stock that we had options to replace them. She ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger with the potatoes and onion and I ordered the western sandwich. Her food was pretty good. My bread and potatoes with a couple onion rings was good too. Only bad part is I paid 17.99 for a brisket sandwich. The normal serving size of brisket is 3-4 ounces cooked (I'm a chef). I got a solid one ounce dusting of meat. I did tell my waitress, she talked to the manager, they gave me $5 off. I don't care about the $5....i just wanted some pre-prepared, re-heated protein to go with all of my carbohydrates. Maybe I would go here again, but it will be for something pre-portioned like a chicken tender or a burger.
