If I could put no stars or negative, I would. I was recently helped by a young girl. Yes, a young girl, no older than 12. You would think with that youthful energy you could at least be kind to customers. I believe her name was Maddie and she spent the whole time giving me dirty looks. I don't even think she could begin to tell you the definition of hospitality. Besides the rude stares, she pretended to not see me as I pulled up and once she started talking it was dull, lifeless, and like she hated me for even coming by. When I asked for extra syrup in my drink she rolled her eyes and asked if I was sure I didn't want sugar free. Definitely not the welcoming vibe I've received in the past from this business. The coffee here is decent but I genuinely fear if I come back she will be just as rude, if not worse. Hopefully when you guys go you can avoid her and actually receive good hospitality, service, and drinks. read more

I ordered myself a drink and was told the total price at the window. I hand my card to the barista and think nothing of it. I never got a receipt, nor did I sign anything so I was a little concerned with that but went about my day. The following morning, I check my bank account and it is overdrawn and I have been charged a fee for the overdraft. I look at my transactions to find that the barista tipped herself WITHOUT my consent or knowledge. The charge on my account was a different number than what I was told at the window. I have absolutely no issue tipping, when I am the one choosing to do so. I am extremely sad and disappointed in my local coffee spot. read more

It's a perfect concept in this pandemic. I like trying new coffee and latte flavors at coffee shops, and Scooter's allows you to do that without leaving your car. I've driven by quite a few times now, and I am pleased with their friendliness and drink quality every time. The options seem endless, and you can get pretty much any drink hot, iced, or blended. Similar to Starbucks, you can also sub for milk alternatives. For whatever reason, this place jazzes me up way more than Starbucks or Ziggi's or any other local coffee shop near by. I think the drinks here are really good if you stick to something basic. Maybe an iced latte or a mocha or something like that. I have never been blown away by their speciality drinks and sometimes they taste a bit too sweet. Seriously though, you will get pumped from that caffeine. What do they do to it to make me feel that way? The employees are nice as well and don't do that thing where they try to force a conversation because it seems like they are always busy here and are more focused on making a drink than chit-chatting. I read another review that said that this place smells like weed when they go, I have never experienced that and I know the smell of weed well. I think the person that wrote that is either smelling their own car or disregarding the fact that there is a Taco Bell right next to this Scooter's. I have recently started getting by my intermittent weekly coffee's from Scooters. They make a good coffee, but they may have lost me as a customer. In my latest stop, I informed them that they screwed up my order the week before. They were apologetic, but failed to remedy the real wrong. They charged me last week 8+dollars for a drink I poured out. Upon understanding the mistake they failed to comp me in any way, and charged me for the same drink today. Yes the drink is good, but the failure to address a customer service issue doesn't sit well with me. read more

This business has this violation from May of this year: "Standard not met: Management, food employee and conditional employee; knowledge, responsibilities and reporting" I don't know if it affects the specific service we had today, but this was my experience: We went to Scooter's after receiving two coupon flyers in the mail. I had already checked that both sets of coupons expire next month. I mentioned at the speaker, before we ordered, that we would be using coupons. We ordered two small smoothies and pulled around to the window. I handed the flyers over and pointed out which option on both of them we would like to use. I immediately put a $20 in the tip jar. The first coupon did not scan. The young person working there tried scanning it many times, but it didn't work. The second coupon worked. The staff member kept trying the first coupon without saying anything about a manual override or anything else. I finally said, "Is there something you would like me to do?" They responded, "I think you'll have to pay for it." I did not want to do that, since we had only come to use the coupons that were sent to our address inviting us to try their business with free drinks. Staff said, "Which drink would you like for the coupon you can use?" (there were multiple unused coupons on each flyer.) I asked if they could waive the charge since the coupon should work and there was nothing I had done wrong. "We're supposed to make sure the coupon goes through." I asked for my child's drink and handed back the first drink, which was for me. The staff member seemed unhappy with this "solution", and I asked if they were implying that i had forged the coupon? I did not understand why this solo (? Shouldn't there be a second employee for safety?) staff member was not empowered to provide customers with promised service. We were handed my child's drink and then, somehow, my drink. I said thank you and we left. The drinks were both fruit smoothies, but the mango one was tasteless and they both had shards of ice, instead of being smooth. Just under two years ago was the only other time we visited this place: before virtual school at the beginning of the pandemic, my middle-school-aged kid and i went on an early-morning walk. We tried to order coffee at the window but were told that we "legally" couldn't be served since we were on foot and not in a car. Have had nothing but good service since starting coming here about 3 years ago. Always order the same thing, it's always the same price. Wednesday for the first time the employee asked if I would like my change as if she deserved a tip. Then Thursday she changed the price and lied about how they make them to try and scam a tip. Chalky, fast, drive thru coffee. The macchiatos are not Starbucks or traditional style and the milk is generally too hot for a good, consistent drink. Their cold drinks are ok, but cold is easy to make with the combination of lots of milk and ice. The matcha was bitter and not well constructed. If I was passing thru, it's convenient, but I'd rather drive into Arvada or Louisville for coffee. Sure the business model works. They can handle high volume, but don't expect the greatest tasting or well crafted drink here. A few scoops of this and a few scoops of something else, and you sure sound like someone else up the street. read more

The coffee is just as good as what you could get at Starbucks down the street, but the great people make Scooter's worth coming back to! I want to give a huge thank you to the staff, especially Riley! I recently got into a car accident right in front of the coffee shop, and when I pulled into their lot to sort out the details, the staff was quick to take care of everyone on site. Riley provided coffee to everyone involved, and even let me leave my car in front of their shop for a few days until I could get it towed away. First try here. Got a small medium-body coffee. Fast service, pleasant verbal exchange. Coffee was hot (go figure!), aromatic and flavorful. This franchise out of Omaha Nebraska is a small, two-lane drive through, quick stop coffee spot on 287 in Broomfield. Quick service, decent coffee at a reasonable price, I think this place will fly here off of one of the main roads to the north even though there are a couple of Mc Bucks within spitting distance. I received a coupon to this place and since it was close to where I live, I decided to try it out. As I make my way towards it I noticed that the building is about the size of a storage shed that one would buy at a local home improvement store such as a lowes or a home depot store but modified with service counter windows to look like a coffee shop. Next I notice that there is no parking lot, this is because it is a drive thru location only. There is a big sign that says " no walk up service permitted". So this is strictly for people that are on the go. Better bring your large 32oz coffee travel mug and clean out the cup holder in your car cause you're going to need to while visiting this place. As I placed my order I found that the service was fairly quick and friendly and the prices are comparable to other coffee shops. read more

I love Scooters! There aren't many options for coffee in the surrounding area besides Starbucks. I'm not a fan of Starbuck's food / pastry offerings and their lattes are way too sweet for my taste. Scooters makes a great soy latte and has good pastries. I've had their mint chocolate cookies (AMAZING) and chocolate banana bread (pretty good). It's a really cute, small drive thru and I don't believe they can serve walk ups unfortunately. The baristas who work here have always been consistently cheerful and friendly, even offering a dog biscuit to my dog in the car with me :) While I do wish a smaller dine-in (drink-in?) coffee shop would open in the area, Scooter's fills the need for me until then. read more

Convenience isn't an excuse for this bad. Dousing stale/burnt coffee with Carmel syrup doesn't mask apathy for quality. It was so bad I couldn't drink it. For $4, I expect a fresh espresso shot with frothed milk and added syrup (not too much). If using coffee at least let it be a good brand reasonably fresh. This kiosk has enough space for good equipment and it wasn't during a rush time - I could have waited 90 more seconds to actually enjoy my drink. Never again. That alone trumps the deals you get elsewhere. 4 stars because the americano wasn't as great as I had hoped (tasted a bit watered down, but was still decent.. especially for the price). A really cute spot along my morning commute, and the friendliness of the employees just can't be beat. We're talking about some serious outliers on the cheerfulness scale. If only I liked the drinks more... I'm just too much of a latté snob, I guess. I prefer to save my bucks for the baristas who can create the rich texture of microfoam, and have tasty beans that don't need flavor syrups. And the pastries aren't as fresh as other places - I've had a couple of scones that could have passed for door stops. I came here on a recommendation, I am a traditional latte drinker, so off the bat it wasn't my regular type of drink but I decided to give it a go anyways. They really didn't have a standard latte, they did however have plenty of cold brew coffee and super sweet coffee choices. I got the turtle latte, I really didn't like it, but that is only because I don't like really sweet coffee like that, it has chocolate, caramel, and I believe something else.
