Our dogs look forward to every time they get to go to Old Stone, and honestly if we game them a choice to come home or stay and play, I think they might just choose the later. They have helped us out when life events occurred and we needed someone to watch both dogs with short notice and have helped calm down two puppies that bounce off the walls. If you live downtown or the west side, it is definitely worth the drive to have your dogs stay here, where it is clear that the owners truly care about their pet and human clientele!

Our 3 beagles came home happy. So something's being done right by the staff. Usually they are panting for the first hour after leaving a kennel. Not after their stay at the Old Stone Pet Lodge. They were calm and relaxed, happy to see us but not that desperate sound of being happy to get away. When we picked them up- we got to watch them play on the snow hill from the camera in the lobby area. They looked happy. The staff is SO friendly and the dogs didn't have that "kennel smell" that they typically have at other kennels. We will definitely be back if ever in the area again. Thank you for the great care of our canine "kids"!

My dogs are able to share a kennel, which is very important to me. They are a bonded pair and my border collie always has to keep an eye on my Shih Tzu. Knowing they'll be together is a huge relief.

No one told us, we found it when we saw blood on our floor. Our puppy can barely walk now and when we tried to get a refund of $15 for the nail trim after spending over $400 they refused to even acknowledge that this is awful care of an animal. The owner, who happens to be a sun prairie police officer, was extremely rude and condescending and decided to inform my wife that we couldn't post bad reviews of his company because free speech is only for the government. It makes it easy to find the different animal sections. They carry excellent brands including my favorite pet brand, Fromm. They have a great selection, enough to choose from but not too many where it becomes overwhelming. Note the parking lot can get busy so there is also street parking available on Midvale Blvd. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. I brought my dog in a few months ago and was looking to change up her food. They offered me many samples and explained their return policy. If you open a large bag of food and your dog doesn't like it, you can return it. So don't be scared to try new food for your pets, they will take back open bags. They also have canned food, fresh dried food, and frozen food options for both cats and dogs. One of my favorite items in the store are these cute cat beds that look like a big mitten. They are locally made in the Madison area. My dog's favorite section is the bones. I discovered these cool bones that are considered cheese chews. It takes awhile for my dog to chew through this bone but once she does you can put the last bit of the bone in the microwave and it turns into a treat. I love discovering these new items when I visit Nutzy Mutz. And of course I love being greeted by their friendly store cat!

We first encountered them when we took Finn [6 yo] to a class for Reactive Dogs. We chose this class because our Labs are over the top crazy friendly when meeting people. We met Deb Crawley. Deb applies the Dog Den principles to everything she does - Calm, Non-reactive, rational, and sensible with lots of love. We applied what we learned in class to both dogs and walking them is now so enjoyable. We recently did a one-on-one session with Deb at our home because we wanted to work on some calming behaviors when someone entered our home. We met with Deb in early November and have been applying her methods and advice for the past 6 weeks -- and are seeing great results!! The boys are still crazy Labs but they now 'pause' and consider what we are asking of them when we have someone else in the home. Thank you Deb Crawley. We're going to keep working on this!!
