Natalia is extremely unprofessional with her "bros" and "we grown women" as if we are fighting over a man. I never write reviews but she needs to learn how to properly communicate with people instead of attacking someone that came with a peaceful approach. repeating my words and not allowing me to get a word in is ridiculous for a person in the service industry. I contacted her directly before contacting the salon because my sister has been crying about this terrible choppy cut since she got it yesterday. She went in for a trim and walked out with uneven chopped bangs. I understand I am not the customer but because my sister is emotional and upset I reached out hoping to get a positive solution or some type of explanation that made sense but Natalia was just defensive and rude. UPDATE: my sister went back after Natalia told her to pass by to find a resolution & it was literally a trap to name call her , disrespect her and tell her that's she's LUCKY because she would of chopped off all her hair. Natalia AND her brother got in her face, verbally abused her, ridiculed her for asking for a solution and showing them how bad this cut was. They began to instigate and attack with the name calling & getting in her face. calling her a BITCH and MONGA because "There's nothing wrong with the haircut little girl" police ended up being involved. this was actually the most INSANE encounter I've ever heard of in my ENTIRE LIFE. I've managed several businesses & own my own business speaking with participants and customers daily and I would NEVER ridicule a human. Worst service ever, owner of the beauty salon treated my mom so disrespectful, just because last time my mom when and got a pedicure was 6 months ago, she told my mom in front of all the customers that on her records appear last time she went to the place was 6 months ago, and yelled at her claiming she only likes regular customer at her place, my mom didn't reply anything back to her and just left the place. I wish that I could give this zero stars. Now that the salons are back open they need to follow rules to keep patrons safe. One of the hair dressers was not wearing a mask. In addition he bragged about how he went to Boynton Beach and how crowded it was. He just admitted to not social distancing. I dont care how clean or "sanitized" the salon is...we know that the virus can be passed in the air. No mask means if he was a carrier of the virus then he could potentially infect people. This is the only place where I cut my hair. I have been here for over 5-6 years now. I only cut with Tanya. She is great, my friend from Orlando was searching for someone to cut her hair (she's very picky) as most of us are with our hair. I took her to my lady with pictures of course! She did a fantastic job and my friend was so happy! They also do manicures and pedicures and waxing. Its a small place nice and quiet. Doesn't seem that busy. I've never done any other services besides my hair. Ask for Tanya or make an appointment. I cut with someone else once or twice and didn't like it. She only works on weekdays so call ahead make sure you have an appointment. read more

Today put a complete bad taste in my mouth about this place. I went in for a pedicure and they charged me a whopping $70. Then proceeded to use fancy verbiage to try and justify the ridiculous pricing for a pedicure . I have been going to this place for 8 years to see George to cut my hair never have I dealt with his sister or mother like I had to today. This place used to have a 5-star review for me but unfortunately after today it shot straight down to one. When I complain about being charged $70 for my pedicure she laughed at me and told me just don't come back and don't come back to see my brother either to get your haircut. Super rude and unprofessional! My complaint was calm and rational and her response was Brute over speaking and cocky. I would give zero stars if I could. I walked into Scissor Time after seeing it while at the nearby UPS store. Since the place was empty I went in, with a mask on, and inquired about having a pedicure done. The person who greeted me, without a mask on, asked the following: 1. Did I have an appointment? NO. (this was today, Wednesday 6/17/20 at 6:30 p.m. and only two employees, a man and a woman were there, no customers) 2. Did someone refer me? NO. 3. Is this your first time here? YES At this point she said a pedicure would be $70. I said thank you, but no. She then pointed to her right and said, "Lovely Nails is over there." directing me to another salon a few doors away. I cannot believe this person's attitude. I am trying to figure out why she would 1. Quote me a price almost three times the average for a pedicure and 2. Why try to send me to another salon? (I had passed the other salon and it was busy so I did not go in.) I am hoping this was not a case of discrimination (I am a white woman and she is a Hispanic woman.) but something was not quite right about the interaction between her and I. Very poor business practice and customer service, especially at a time when small businesses are trying hard to come back after the COVID-19 closures. I recently got my hair cut by Jorge and I'm beyond happy with how it turned out. My hair was a disaster and he saved it! He took his time where it felt not rushed and he really paid attention to every detail. He didn't cut off more than I wanted. Every time I go here I walk out extremely happy. I get my long hair trimmed here. Jorge never cuts off more than needed and always talks to me about how much he needs to cut off. I recently got my eyebrows waxed here. I have thick eyebrows and am always a little timid to let someone wax them for fear they will go too thin. Again, I was pleasantly surprised and will continue to be a patron. Love this place! read more

Barber kept leaving to chat with other customers. What shouldve been a 15 minute cut took over 40. Both times I've gone i had to correct the slanted tape they were trying to give me.
