Kim was my stylist and she was very honest which is what I need with someone who's going to color my hair. She did an amazing job and we have also made plans for future visits to get me back to my blondie self. She cares about the health of your hair and her reputation and won't risk that for the sake of your request. Let me begin by saying I never give reviews anywhere and this is after the fact. About a year ago I went to a different salon to get a trim. I had very long hair and tried saving a bit by going to a local salon where, as you can see in the photo, I was left with a huge chunk of my "face framing" pieces of hair cut in one length and the rest of my hair uneven from the back. I was mortified and came to Reinaldo Salon looking to see if they could salvage the rest of my hair. During my consultation Nely pointed out what she saw wrong with the cut and told me not to worry. I showed her my idea from a previous cut she had done and away she went. She was even able to blend in the uneven face framing cut into the rest of my bob. Thank you so much Nely! I have a wedding coming up so unfortunately I won't be doing a bob anytime soon but as soon as I say "I do" I can't wait for my next trim! read more

Amazing service! It was my first time going and I'm definitely making this place my official go-to salon! Everyone is so nice and friendly, they really make you feel relaxed and at home. They are not only super cool but Nely made my hair beautiful again. It is short but it is super well cut. They are really specialists in Bob haircuts. On top of that I had my nails dine too. Three stars. I've never paid so much for my hair before. Almost $400 for balayage, trim, blow dry, and style. My hair does look awesome, but $400? That's insane. My hair is SHOULDER LENGTH. And that price tag was the cost before I added my tip, which means I spent way too much on my hair today. I didn't fight the price, and maybe since it's the first time I got my hair cut since the pandemic that I put up with it, but it's several hours later and I still can't believe I paid that much. Also, the checkout girl told me there was "color correction" that needed to happen on my hair, which wasn't true - my head had been shaved and had grown out, no color at all ever. So weird, but whatever - I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt here, so making like Elsa, and letting it go. I also had to wait 30 minutes for my appointment, which wouldn't have bothered me terribly except they called me after booking my appointment at noon, and asked me to come in 30 minutes earlier... apparently, so I could wait. Adriana was fantastic with color, and how she cut my hair. She did seem pleasant enough, but I just checked the site again, and it does say "consultation" - so here's my advice, get the price up front for everything. Adriana skills are amazing. And if it were on the cut and color alone, I'd say five stars. That price tag though, along with the lack of transparency and communication on cost, OUCH. That hurt... a lot. read more

I went in today for a 6pm appt and I kid you not the lady rushed my service so much that she finished my gel mani and regular pedi in less then 30 mins. My pedicure looks terrible and my bridal shower is tomorrow. She was in an entire rush to close that she didn't care about the service she provided. On top of that I was charged $62 for this. Insane! Where do I begin? Well, I ended up at this salon by mistake but it was not really a mistake because God's plan is perfect and I thank Him for leading me here. Kim did my blow dry and she was just amazing!!! I had my 3 year old daughter with me and Kim offered to do her hair as well. And I'll tell you that washing and blow drying my toddler's hair is no easy task! But Kim did it effortlessly with so much love and patience. She even moved the chair my toddler was sitting in into the makeup room (where I was having makeup applied) so she could see me while Kim finished her hair. And she didn't stop there! She also painted my daughter's nails afterwards. My daughter was sooooo happy when we left! I also have to give credit to Yuya for the beautiful job with my makeup! Yuya was also so great with my daughter, she applied eyeshadow on my little diva which made her day that much better! I've been to Reinaldo Salon twice now (only for haircuts) and have had nothing short of a fantastic experience each time! Kim has been my go-to stylist both times and she left my hair looking fabulous. For starters she actually listens to how much length you'd like to cut off (nothing is more irritating than asking for an inch and losing 3) and always gives me recommendation on how to elevate the hair cut from "just a trim" to a mini transformation. The owner is incredibly rude and the Y-name Cuban manicurist there is every awful stereotype about Miami-- rude, ignorant, "chusma," and trash talks everyone behind their backs. Although, i never made an appointment i was greeted by a polite and friendly staff and i waited about 15 minutes to see the stylist . She did a really go job and cut about 2 inches off my hair like i told her to and i was happy with the hair style. Everyone was so nice and attentive. I went to dye my hair from its natural color (dark brown) to a very light purple. They informed me ahead of time about the process and how to maintain my hair once it is done. I have dyed and bleached my hair for many years, but this salon has given me the BEST experience so far.
