I recommend Dr. Ahmed. She is very precise and knowledgeable. I went for a complete body cancer scan and she checked every where from my head to in between my toes. I have gone to other Dermatologists offices and they never did that. Having basil cell cancer in the past she puts my mind at easy. The staff is very friendly and my wait time was all about 3 minutes. I am in the medical field and run a dental office with multiple doctors and scheduling my time is just as valuable and this office ran perfect like a clock!!! First appointment I waited 1/2 hour over set time, no explainations or apologies given. Second appointment waiting room packed, I asked what the wait time was, front office said "I don't know!". A patient said they had been waiting over an hour. Led Zepplin was playing in the waiting room. No chairs available to sit in to wait. Had an appointment today for 10:40. Explained to receptionist that I need to leave by 11:20. And asked if the doctor was running late. She said she couldnt tell me. Well are the people waiting in rooms or not. I dont think it is too much to ask if the dr is on time. This was in Toms River office. Dr came in at 11:15. Thats 35 minutes late. While I understand emergency happen, I dont think it is an unusal request to ask if you are on time. read more

Had a biopsy completed and was waiting for my results. Nurse Practitioner left a message for me to call her. I immediately called and was advised she will call me back. I. called back 4 more times before 330pm and was told office was now closed even though their website states it is open until 5pm. Hopefully, I will get a call back tomorrow with my results. It is very unnerving to have wait for results when she could have just left a message. read more

I waited 40 minutes sitting in a paper gown and still the doctor didn't come in. I got dressed and left. The girls outside were like oh he'll be right here, but I said it was no way to treat patients and they just lost one . I cannot recommend this practice. read more

I had a lesion in my ear for over six months. Hasnain Rangwala told me time and time again it was nothing. It started to give me pain so I kept going back to him. Again, he said it was nothing and not to worry about it. The pain got worse so in desperation I went to my ENT who did a biopsy. It came back Squamous cell carcinoma. Now I have to get radiation treatments for 30 days and the pain is still there. I would not go to Schweiger if my life depended on it! read more

My first appointment in Toms River NJ. Overcrowded waiting room, oh well, I thought, just deal with it. One of the 2 receptionists hands me an electronic tablet to enter my medical history, she seemed nice. When I went to hand it back, I tried to hand it to the receptionist who gave it to me, and the other one with the long straight hair barked "I can help you over here..I CAN HELP YOU OVER HERE!!" Her tone was shockingly inappropriate. I told her as much and she seemed to back down, but it gave me such an awful feeling. You know your gut feeling to flee? I resisted and sat back down, and then the same one called me up for my co-pay. I gave it to her, and told her that I wasn't coming back after this appointment and she says "ok" with a huge smile. I took back my HSA card and walked out. They can have the $35, I'm not staying 1 more minute. Other folks might settle. Not me. read more

Went for appointment on time and was greeted by a receptionist.In front of others that were waiting in that I had quite a big balance. She than went on to say they do not do the billing but take the payments.I know I did not and her so.She went on to say that they want the payment.Very insulting when others were watching.I told her again I do not my insurance takes care of the bill.She had a blank face and told her I am going to leave and don't need being intimidated.Sure enough when I got home I called my insurance company and told me they had made the payment to them .Now with that being said I think they were trying to get more money from me.How many older people are giving in to them. read more

I was seen in this office during the COVID19 pandemic so my review is based upon that. While the doctor I saw was great, the office was packed that some patients were ev n waiting outside of the office's doors. There was no social distancing and not a single patient had their temperature checked. Seats were not being sanitized between patients either. read more

They sent it to a specialty pharmacy even when I asked for it to be sent our pharmacy for tax reason and because I want it at our pharmacy. 2 months later still do not have a prescription. Always a great visit at Schweiger Dermatology. Scheduling an appointment is always very easy, with multiple convenient times available. I go once a month at minimum, and never wait longer than 5-10 minutes to be seen after checking in. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. The office itself is modern and aesthetically pleasing, it doesn't feel like a typical dingy office. Dr. Ahmed is wonderful, always spending time to explain my treatment plan with constant review and revision of medications based off my progress. Everyone I have interacted with seem invested in their patients success. I am so glad that my general practitioner recommended this place, I will be back for many years to come for all of my dermatology needs. 10/10 read more

First and last appointment. I called to see if they accept my insurance and were accepting new clients and got a yes for both so I set up my appointment and all went well. Actually nice decor inside. A few weeks later got my bill for hundreds of dollars. I was extremely upset and disappointed. My family and I has been going to see Dr. Rangwala for over 10 years now. My children have been seeing Dr. Rangwala since a very young age and have needed multiple biopsies annually, acne, rashes and melanoma care, we would not see anyone else. I love this place from day 1 of me bringing my son. Dr. Hasnain Rangwala or Dr. H as my kids call him made him feel comfortable ( he has anxiety issues) he explained everything in detail and what the whole process was. He called everything into our pharmacy and answered all questions.. We recommended him to 4 other people who switched to him. The girls in the office are all pleasant even when dealing with difficult people. I have seen patients from 8-80 in there. The Dr is awesome and would recommend this place !!!! read more

Took my mother for a procedure. She is 80 years old with severe medical issues and the office lady was very nasty. She had a 10:00 appt and was still patiently waiting an hour and a half later without any update on why the office was running late or even offered an apology. The older lady who checks people in was very nasty to several other people who stepped up to check on their appointment. I listened as each patient was politely asking about the backlog and this lady just was as nasty as could be to this room full of elderly patients. Very sad to watch them be treated this way. I would never recommend this to anyone. No reason to be treated this way. read more

I signed up for laser therapy to induce collagen production in the skin on my upper arms. I was told I would need 4 to 6 visits, about a month apart. The 1st visit was cancelled by them, because the laser was in another office. It was rescheduled, and I had my first treatment. My second visit was cancelled by them, because the laser was broken. Ok. Things happen. They said they would call me to reschedule on Monday. When they DIDN'T call, I called them. They said they couldn't reschedule me until 3 more weeks, because all the laser appointments were full. So, you cancel me, but instead of pushing someone else's appt back, I have to wait 3 extra weeks? Aren't these treatments supposed to be 4 weeks apart, and not seven? I think I'm done with this place. Very frustrating. Oh, and at my first appointment, the nurse sat down and said, "ok, it's obvious where we should do the treatment on the lower part of your face." Me: "Yeah, I'm not here to do anything to my face, but, THANKS??" read more

Your phone staff worked with me to coordinate and reschedule my initial appointment repeatedly even though I was difficult. Your nurses were just as proficient and helpful as your doctors. Your environment is like walking into a gorgeous, clean, healing spa. Dr. Rangwala diagnosed a condition I've had all my life in a matter of moments and treated my sensitive, embarrassing issues with the highest respect. I haven't had an experience this good with a doctors office, maybe ever, especially not an initial appointment. I was listened to. My assessment was very thorough and the aftercare plan was very detailed. He not only treated my symptoms immediately, but he provided me with tools for followup in the future as well as worked to create a great longterm treatment plan with me. When I asked him about issues my husband was having, he suggested an alternate provider with a followup at Schweiger down the line, which just speaks to his level of integrity. He also had a good understanding of the barriers insurance companies can cause patients to have to their treatment and he is willing to advocate for you. I was actually shocked at the level of knowledge, kindness, professionalism, and just how well run and thorough this entire practice was in terms of efficiency and meeting all my needs from my very first call, to my in office experiences, and even in terms of following up with me afterward to check in. I am floored that such a great place even exists in this town after some of the experiences I have had with doctors around here. I cannot recommend this practice enough. read more

I was advised my my wife & GP to have a mole on my arm looked at. I procrastinated. Finally I chose a Dermatology group near home. That was Schweiger. I could not have chosen a better group. First visit with NP Larissa Lobato in Whiting. Larissa expressed concern with two areas: arm & right temple. Biopsies were taken & three days later Larissa called. She very gently explained that my temple area was basil cell & my arm was a carcinoma. Larissa waisted no time & got me scheduled for immediate surgery. Mohs surgery was successfully done in Tom's River & "wide area" surgery was done on my arm at the Freehold facility. The arm surgery was critical & all cancer cells were removed before they had a chance to spread. Follow up & recovery was excellent. staff at all three locations were excellent. I highly recommend Schweiger both for their expertise & wonderful attitudes, patient concern & friendliness. All very important at putting one at ease. I would give this ZERO stars if it were available. I scheduled a new patient appointment over the phone, which seemed to go well. I received very timely and efficient text confirmations of the date and time. I uploaded my insurance to their website in advance. Then, when I arrived today, the receptionist wasn't finding my name. After spelling it about 5 times for her, she said she had trouble hearing (a very bad attribute for a receptionist). When she finally found me, she said the PA I was scheduled with wasn't in today. I said no one called or texted me with that information. Of course I was extremely annoyed, since I'd driven here and taken time from my day expecting an appointment. So I asked if I could see someone else, since I was here already. There was no one else in the office who could see me, and the PA I was scheduled with wasn't in again for 2 weeks. I cannot recommend this group to anyone with such a bad first impression. I have now scheduled with another group. read more
