A patient said they had been waiting over an hour. Led Zepplin was playing in the waiting room. No chairs available to sit in to wait. Believe me, the PAs - not doctors - are not worth this kind of wait. We walked out and aren't going back. Such incompetence!

Dr. Robert Rosen and his staff are the best doctors I've ever needed…read more A few years ago, I had an unlucky streak with my skin--a skin tag on my neck kept breaking, I developed "hot tub folicilitis" after visiting my now late-grandparent's timeshare, and I needed someone to lance what the GP thought was an abscess, but Rosen's staff immediately recognized as a tumor. (Benign, thankfully!) At the time, I didn't have insurance--I was working 4 jobs to pay for my student loans and little else. Dr. Rosen and his team were very accommodating, waving a fee or two, and offering treatment options that were sensitive to risk vs cost. The rest of his staff was very caring, and quite good at what they do. I also appreciated that they all took the time to explain what they were doing and why, very clearly. I'm very thankful that I had access to treatment when I needed it, because of Dr. Rosen and his staff. If I still lived in the area, he would be my only choice of dermatologist.

Evidently they were missing some pictures (most likely a software governor or similar on their end). So I asked what should I do.. 'try a different office?' their response, 'it's up to you'. I got the impression that they weren't happy with me as it was my first time there. After waiting an hour, ten minutes, I asked the receptionist how long will it be since I had to go to work. She said a few more minutes. After an hour 20 minutes I was called. Met with a nice PA and was examined, took all but 5 minutes to tell me I needed a quick procedure. She was very nice and pleasant. She said go to the receptionist and schedule an appointment. So when I went to schedule the appointment, the receptionist said they will call me to schedule. I didn't mind as I was late for work... well, 3 weeks later, still no one from this office called me to schedule my procedure. Very, very disappointed as I had to wait a few weeks just to get an appointment. I won't follow up with them at this point. I don't recommend this office.

The doctor told me that Medicare allows for one time a year to do a dermatology check (body check). The way she made it sound as if it was considered "preventative." However, that is not the case. You still have to pay any co-pays or if you did not meet your deductible you would have to pay that. When I was at the office they never asked for a co-pay before seeing the doctor, which is counter-intuitive, because every time I go to any doctor other than for a preventative, they ask for my co-pay. I will pay the $20 that they have billed me for, however, I will not be returning to her because of the misleading information.
