While I understand emergency happen, I dont think it is an unusal request to ask if you are on time.

The staff is very friendly and my wait time was all about 3 minutes. Seven months later, I called for a refill for Solontra rosacea cream and told they won't refill unless I came in for another office visit. In my experience, you only need to be seen once a year for rosacea. There is no reason to pay for another office visit. I was going to refer my daughter to Dr. Derrick for her rosacea, but now she is staying with her dermatologist and a once a year visit. Paragon derm lost 2 patients due to a money grab.

Dr. Robert Rosen and his staff are the best doctors I've ever needed…read more A few years ago, I had an unlucky streak with my skin--a skin tag on my neck kept breaking, I developed "hot tub folicilitis" after visiting my now late-grandparent's timeshare, and I needed someone to lance what the GP thought was an abscess, but Rosen's staff immediately recognized as a tumor. (Benign, thankfully!) At the time, I didn't have insurance--I was working 4 jobs to pay for my student loans and little else. Dr. Rosen and his team were very accommodating, waving a fee or two, and offering treatment options that were sensitive to risk vs cost. The rest of his staff was very caring, and quite good at what they do. I also appreciated that they all took the time to explain what they were doing and why, very clearly. I'm very thankful that I had access to treatment when I needed it, because of Dr. Rosen and his staff. If I still lived in the area, he would be my only choice of dermatologist.

I booked with Larissa Lobato and she took the time to listen to all my concerns and give me several options for treatment. She was not dismissive and you can really tell that she takes her time to give each patient a great experience. Booking is super fast and easy and very flexible if you need to reschedule. It might have been Rosie and Rosie never made any notes about anything. Leann said she didn't call me and didn't make any effort to resolve the issue I was having with getting the medication refilled. In my opinion, there was no reason for me to be playing phone tag because on Wednesday, when I spoke to possibly Rosie, and Rosie said the doctor will send the Rx to Pharmacy Emporium, it should have been done. If it was my business, or I worked in the office of Dr Flaks, I would not respnd to patients with "I did not call you." I would take care of the reason for the call first time call resolution, and if not in one call, I would follow through and ensure that my reason for calling was resolved and I would have called me back. She did not do any of that. Leann also said she did not see that anyone called me from there yesterday but they did twice and left me a voicemail once. My phone keeps track of all the times I have spoken to them. From now on, I am not deleting their voicemail messages to show proof that someone there left me messages, some of which are very detailed which I prefer. If I knew how to record the calls themselves, I would do that too. I know I can, but I don't do it. I have been waiting since LAST Wednesday for Zoryve to be sent to a specialty pharmacy and for that pharmacy to contact me for my new insurance to fill the medication for me which I really need. Meanwhile, last week, I was told Dr Flaks said she will send a RX for the Zoryve to that pharmacy and I haven't gotten it or heard from the specialty pharmacy and her office staff isn't doing their due diligence. Dr Flaks does not seem to care either, and now I am looking for a new dermatologist who knows how to treat their patients as well as their staff. Do better!!!
