Patient care is not her primary concern it seems. I do not find her compassionate or a good family practice doctor as they are concerned with the care of their patients.

Dr. Lord has been my PCP for over Seven Years and continuing to have him as my PCP is well worth the Hour and a Half Drive each way. So I most heartedly recommend Dr. Lord and his new practice at WellFamily Medicine. My experience with the Front Office and with Dr. Lord's Nurse have been absolutely positive! In fact, on my first visit, I accidentally reopened s wound on my forearm and the receptionist immediately called for Dr. Lord's Nurse, who took me back to a room, cleaned the blood from my arm, and bandaged my wound. But if you want a true care team--literally two doctors who will know your children by name, provide thoughtful and individualized treatment, and actually keep you informed--this is the place for you. When I first called, Anastasia let me know they're a smaller practice. So yes, I may wait on hold for a couple minutes while they're helping another patient--but I'll take that any day over the rushed, impersonal care we've experienced elsewhere. At the other offices, they'd order multiple bacterial infection tests based only on symptoms I described over the phone--without even seeing my children. She is the BEST DOCTOR I've ever had and that is saying a lot because I have a couple of chronic conditions and have seen literally more than 200 doctors! She listens patiently, discusses your illness or disease and its likely course, then discusses the options with you. With me, I feel like I go in to see her, tell how I feel and what my symptoms are, she asks a few clarifying questions and exams me, then she tells me what's wrong and discusses with me how to make it feel better and get better. She is willing to change directions when something is not working and she is also willing to "try it your way" when you come in with thoughts and ideas for a treatment plan that you want to try (as long as it it safe), even if it is not the approach that she would normally advise. She will tell you when you need more advanced or specialized care than she can provide in her office and will refer you to an appropriate specialist. She is always open and honest with her patients. Her office staff are all professional, efficient, and kind. I highly recommend her! If she is not available, Dr. Kurtis Elward, another doctor in that same practice, is also very good.

My husband and sons also see Dr. Amir Alemzadeh and Dr. Mousavi. Now, must admit, I left the practice about 3 years ago because of my work/home schedule and found a holistic doc in the area. When Dr Alemzadeh started one day a week in Stafford - I made my appointment for January 2nd! Great start to the new year. I highly recommend this team of doctors, they have great bed - side manners, are professional, and I never feel rushed. Quest Diagnostics (blood work) is conveniently located in the same building. If you want a doctor that's willing to spend time to get to know you - go to Cardinal Internal Medicine.

Your Stafford location has exhibited astronomical levels of incompetence today. I've been waiting…read moresince 09:00 this morning for a work excuse to be signed and sent over. High priority/internal messages have been sent. Multiple phone calls have been made to the Stafford location only for my calls to be answered via the Woodbridge office. This is unacceptable, unprofessional inexcusable, and I will never return to the stafford office location.
