Food wasn't fantastic, but it wasn't bad either. Service was definitely one of the worst I've had in years. Upon entering we seated ourselves and had to wait a little while for someone to greet us and take our orders. Our waitress an older lady only came to take our order and never came back to check on us. While we sat there eating for about 40 minutes she stood by the kitchen area looking around and talking to another employee. I did see her quickly go out to greet incoming customers as well as take their orders. Definitely a turn off especially for Mom and Pops places. Had the double cheese burger and it's better than fast food restaurants thats for sure. Husband had the steak burger and said it was ok. We also tried the cheese puffs the waitress recommended and it was pretty good. It's definitely a mom and pop restaurant and cash only. I don't know if I would try again. read more

One of the best greasy food diners I have every ate at. While in town for a family gathering my Aunt took us to Schulz's where we ordered the burgers, brats, chili (a must try) and potato salad which were all amazing. So if you are in the Sheboygan area it is worth your time to swing into Schulz's for breakfast or brunch. Please note that they only take cash, but given their prices you won't have to dig too deep into your pocket for a GREAT MEAL!! read more

What can I say... I've loved this place since I was a kid and it's the same mom and pop place since then. Not the healthiest place to eat as they load butter on the burgers yummm! Alot of other stuff on the menu is fried but who doesn't love deep fried food! Staff is always awesome making sure you got everything you need. read more

Great brats, for those who may not know they come from Miesfelds. So do the steaks, these are called restaurant steaks. Shulz's uses a lot of salt on the meat and butters the bun generously so if you are not from Wisconsin, know that. Fries and rings are from a bag. Hi-Lo buns rock. Worth a stop in Sheboygan. But make it infrequent or have a cardiologist's card in your pocket. read more

Absolutely love their cheese steak sandwich and cheese curds! This place is cozy and not updated by any means but that just adds to the charm. Food comes out in wax paper and is very speedy. Definitely a must when in Sheboygan! read more

When we (my 91 year old mom and I) came into the restaurant, I seated her at the table and tried to put her walker out of the way on the side the table that had no chair. Right away a guy came up and said it would be in the way and people would trip over it. Just put it over there he said. Well over there would have been in the way of another customer. I found a place to put it. The food was OK. Although not real warm (hamburgers) and the cheese puffs a bit over cooked. The waitress who took our order was pleasant but it must have been the end of her shift so she left soon after. The same guy mentioned above served our order and was about the worst example of customer service I have seen in a very long time. My mom requested her hamburger be cut n half and the onions finely chopped. The waitress told us that was no problem. The guy who cooked it and served it to us told us regarding cutting it in half, you would have to ask for that. Then upon actually looking at the order, he saw we did ask and handed me a knife. Regarding chopping the onions he snapped at us that he did chop them. I told him we had asked for them to be finely chopped for my mom. He said "well I'm busy". I apologized to him for inconveniencing him by coming into the restaurant. He just said oh and walked away. No one ever asked how we were doing or acknowledged us in any way. When I went to pay, that person asked if everything was OK. I told everything except that guy who was extremely rude to us. She told me he was the owner. She tried to apologize. We have gone to Schulz's for many years but this will definitely be the last time. Would NVER again recommend this restaurant. If I could give the owner negative stars, I would. read more

I lived in Sheboygan for a little under a year and this is the only restaurant I visited where I feel I legitimately had an awful experience. Everyone working there was rude to me and my friends, I got cheese curds that tasted bad, I got a perch sandwich that tasted incredibly dry and the meat on it tasted old, and on top of all of this the service was incredibly slow despite the fact that the place was almost entirely empty. My experience is anecdotal since I only went there once, but this was by far the most disappointed restaurant experience I had in Sheboygan. read more

I went to this restaurant tonight, based on the 2 glowing reviews on this page. I ordered a steak sandwich. The server came back and plopped down a paper wrapped, thin hamburger. I told her I had ordered the steak sandwich. She said that the fast-food-like value burger that I was looking at, WAS the steak sandwich. I didn't want to make a scene, so I decided to make due. I picked up the sandwich and grease gushed out all over my clothing. I was not given a plate, or even a tray so I'm using all of my rationed napkins to wipe grease off my blouse and the table. Frankly, I have a hard time believing those positive reviews weren't written by the owners. I paid for a steak sandwich and got nasty little burger in a nastier puddle of grease. I would not eat here again if they were giving away a free car with every fake steak sandwich. read more
