Really cute inside. Summer is great when the big picture window is open. Has the most unique drinks in Sheboygan. They hand squeeze all the fruit into drinks right in front of you. Must try the pear mojito, Carmel macchiato martini and ice cream drink drinks.

Fun place with great drinks and food. Bartenders and servers were uniformly friendly and v knowledgeable of the offerings. Good craft beer selection included local brewery 3 Sheeps. Watching them make drinks from fresh cut fruit was hypnotic. Everyone was hustling. Great to see. Food was good too. We shared an artichoke dip that was piping hot and had a nice kick. My banh mi sandwich was delicious. We'd definitely stop by again.

This new old-fashioned was amazing! Very different than my normal!

We selected this restaurant because we had a vegetarian in our group, and it popped up as a vegetarian option. I want to start by the building... It is so cute! Their historic building is set on the corner of a very busy historical Sheboygan Street. Walking into the building, you can't help but notice the shotgun style and the gorgeous, coved ceilings! The staff was super friendly, and the drinks were different and amazing! I had a new old-fashioned, but with a twist. It reminded me of a Manhattan. It was so cool tasting, that I actually took a picture of it on the menu, and sent it to my husband. I'm hoping he can somewhat duplicate it. The food was very good! It isn't your typical bar food... I would say it is bar food with a very cool twist. Everyone in our party was happy with her choice. I would definitely come back!

The drinks are beyond the imagination, you ask they deliver. Started off with a extra dirty martini and ended up with at the end of the night a infamous sangria. Love the bartenders here during the late PM shift they make it happen !

FISH Sadly, they were already out if bluegill, which was my planned order- i panic ordered perch. I should have gotten cod. Fish have bones & you're bound to find a few - but I'm pretty sure one of the filets had more bones than meat. The breading was spotty with large areas not breaded & half the fish was, well, fishy. I (along with 3/4 of the table) appreciated the option to get German Potato Salad or Potato Pancakes instead of the standard fries. The buttered marble rye was also a hit with most. I stopped eating the perch on piece 2 of 4. I went to the potato pancakes, which were pretty good, as was the German Potato Salad. The coleslaw was ok. While I'm not mad at $80 after tip. Service was alright. Water was filled once empty. Bill was brought out promptly. No mention of dessert & I spaced it out. Since we're now 2hrs away... oops

We finally got a table after a 1/2 hour wait, we looked at their website before deciding to eat here, so we knew what we wanted. They brought our order, it was wrong, they gave us 2 brat pasties. My wife hates cheddar cheese, they tried to make it right. Watch out for overcharge on extras? like marinara sauce and cheddar cheese dip, these should be included, as gravy is included. A dollar more for the sweet potato fries, than shown in the menu. Nice personality, just why do this is tourists and tourism. Good pasties, but at a cost.

f you're in Sheboygan and not eating at Black Pig, respectfully, what are we doing?…read moreThis meal had me wondering why I don't make the trip to Sheboygan more often! Black Pig was such a great find, and everything we tried was packed with flavor. We started with the White Truffle & Black Pepper Bacon Fries, because regular fries simply weren't invited. The truffle and black pepper added so much flavor, and these were the perfect way to kick things off. Next up was the Shellfish Rangoon, filled with crab, scallop, and shrimp and topped with tahini-cabbage slaw and pineapple sweet & sour. The combination of flavors was unexpected but worked so well. Then came the Black Pig Cheeseburger, an 8 oz Niman Ranch USDA All-Natural Prime Beef burger with Hooks 1-year aged cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a house-made brioche bun. The burger was flavorful, juicy, and satisfying. I finished with the Endless Rhubarb Summer mocktail, made with rhubarb shrub, lime, simple syrup, ginger ale, and dehydrated lime. It was refreshing and the perfect way to round out the meal. The service was amazing from start to finish. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the entire experience even better. I also loved how spacious and clean the restaurant was. It has a comfortable atmosphere that makes you want to sit down, enjoy your meal, and stay awhile. Overall, Black Pig is absolutely worth the drive from Madison. Great food, creative flavor combinations, amazing service, and a spacious, clean atmosphere. I came hungry, and Black Pig definitely delivered.

As you might expect, the menu is decidedly pig-forward, although there are plenty of other excellent options. The Wine Spectator- recognized wine list is absolutely incredible, featuring many bottles you would be hard-pressed to find even at high-end restaurants in much larger cities. We started with the Belly Belly Nice appetizer, featuring thick-cut Duroc bacon served with three dipping sauces. All were delicious, but the whole-grain mustard was an absolute must. The duck confit leg and thigh was ridiculously good, easily one of the five best duck dishes I've ever had. Others at our table enjoyed the Big Pig Burger, which was juicy and packed with unique flavors. Another standout was the grilled Ibérico pork pluma, which was prepared beautifully. I would make a special trip back to Sheboygan just to eat here again. It was truly that good!

The menu is jam-packed with delicious options, and our group had a hard time narrowing down our selections! We started by sharing the traditional mild Buffalo wings, burnt ends, and armadillo eggs. The wings were huge, meaty, and packed with an amazing smoked flavor. The burnt ends were incredibly tender, falling apart and practically melting like butter in your mouth. Amazingly, I still had room for the turkey Reuben with waffle fries. It was an interesting twist and a slightly healthier alternative to a traditional Reuben. They also offered a great selection of local beers on tap. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful as we worked our way through the extensive menu. We loved everything about this place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sheboygan!

If you tell us the wait is 40 minutes and we are seated in 45 minutes, we won't complain. But if you say the wait is 10-15 minutes and we have to inquire about what's going 40 minutes later and it turns out you can seat us immediately, the front of the house management is not doing their job very well. (At least it was pleasant outside and we enjoyed strolling up and down the marina checking out all the boats while we were waiting.) Once we were finally seated, everything was fine. Our server greeted us promptly. Drinks were delivered shortly after we placed our order and the food came to the table not long after that. I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad. Compared to BBQ brisket I've had elsewhere I'd give it a six out of ten, not bad but far from the best (but I really didn't expect a place in Sheboygan to top places in Kansas City or Memphis for example). I sampled all their sauces (none of which wowed me) before settling on one that brought a touch of heat to the palate. The potato salad was a tad one-note -- it needed a touch of acid and a bit more texture, I.e. crunchy vegetables. All in all, Parker John's was okay -- but I won't be rushing back anytime soon.
