This business is absolutely shady and our vacation hasn't even started yet and we have had all…read morekinds of headache already. When I booked out vacation for the 4th of July, I selected our dates of arrival n departure, the website clearly has a big blue button that says availability ends on july 9 2025, if I speak English correctly that means it's available only until the 9. I clicked on the big blue button takes me to the middle of the next page where it says book now, I clicked book now and the very next page just asks for your payment information, what I did not know was that the website changed the dates to 07/06 instead of check in 07/04 like I entered, I received the confirmation email with the wrong date so I called them immediately and Mary who answered the phone said sorry too bad no refunds on holidays! I tried to explain to her and she wasn't caring one bit about it, gaslighting me to the best of her ability. She then said well I can change the site for it I ended up having to pay more money for an RV site cuz was the only thing available besides a plain site without W&E like I had already paid for. Then I went to look some of the reviews and I saw a picture and the RV site is gravel, she never mentioned that to me I asked her how am I going to put a tent on top of gravel??' Again their response is that that's none of their problem they already took my money if I want to come good if not good, they do not care! I made a complaint with BBB for the way that they have been conducting business and misleading and cheating on people! Save yourself the headache and book your trip else where! * by the way the video was done today about 2 weeks after all this happened. To this day they are still taking bookings for dates that aren't available and switching it over without showing the customers!! Be aware!

Located on the river, make sure to take advantage of the tubing that they offer. It was an amazing 2 hour float! Their golf carts are high tech and you can link up your music to it which is fun! They offer a shuttle into town. The only improvement I would recommend is them having more staff on to help guests when issues arise. We also loved the cabin, clean and had linens provided. You can't beat this location!

Sighhhh...we wanted to love this place! Glamping sounded like so much fun! But, this did not meet…read moreour expectations of glamping and what we thought it would be, especially for the price. We are campers. We camp in the woods, on the islands of Lake George, way up north in the Adirondacks, etc. but thought this might be a different, fun, and easy way to glamp! The website and the maps provided are very deceiving. We picked a spot "along the River" because on the map, it shows the sites on the river. However, you cannot see or hear the River from the "riverside" tents. The map also isn't to scale. According to the map, the sites are spread out, but in reality, they are right on top of each other. Anyhow, it's pretty much just a big field with no trees or shade with a ton of tents plopped on it. On a hot day, there is no escape from the heat. The tents get so hot! The staff is nice and they keep the place very clean. There is a fire pit, picnic table with cover, trash can, and zero gravity chairs at each tent. The bed was comfortable! The reason I purchased this different type of camping package was because there was a Groupon. I can assure you, that even for the discounted price of $315 for two nights, it is not worth the experience. I feel like they have the potential to offer more, for less. Kayaks should not cost money to rent for people staying on the premises! They should plant some trees or some sort of barrier for the tents that are directly next to the road, etc. We will not be returning to Adirondack Safari.

"Daggett Lake campsite: I had to post this one...feel free to email him direct!" I must also note that the fire ring had not been emptied in what appeared to be months. The ring was 7/8's full of ash and subsequently our fire did not burn well. It's a great lake to fish and it is very peaceful there, but the owners are not professional. Be prepared to be disappointed with their service, attitude and general lack of any sort of urgency with checking you in, answering the phone or attending to your needs. Bathrooms are clean, lake and fishing is awesome.

This time instead of getting a hotel room costing me an arm and a leg I decided to go to the state hearth stone campground. Only about 2 miles from the village it is an easy commute to where all the action is happening. Have to say it was a beautiful evening of relaxing pleasure while at the campground.

We had a particularly bad interaction with him in the swimming area. He came up to us, well within 6ft with no mask on, immediately yelling that this area was a "no swim zone." We politely asked him to put a mask on or please back up. We tried to explain we didn't feel safe at the beach area due to the large crowd. We walked to the front to ask the staff where we should swim to socially distance. They suggested the picnic area to us. His response to us was "well I'm in charge, I don't care about a mask and will evict you if I see any of you in the water." It was pretty harsh. We weren't the only group that had an issue with Ed. It was a known joke among several different groups in the camping/beach area we overheard/spoke to that you had to "watch out for him." We have some friends who recommended Hearthstone since they had been camping there for over 20 years and they mentioned that it's never been like that in the past. They said it was Ed's first year on the job and he was brutal towards all the campers and staff. We saw the rest of the weekend Ed consistently break the 6ft barrier, never having a mask on and talking/yelling at all different patrons. Even in the check in area where a mask is required, he was sitting in the 6 x 10 ft enclosed area with no mask on while campers checked in. The rest of the staff was great. Everyone was wearing masks from the front desk area, assistant manager, maintenance teams, campfire wood drop off team, etc. Ed was the only one who was difficult but was also the one closely interacting with the most people. We won't be returning as long as he is managing the campground.

There are always different activities taking place every weekend - we had a killer $5 Pancake breakfast. I really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning.

Only area of opportunity is the pool as it is on the small side and could use some freshening up paint and concrete wise. We have seen lots of reviews out there how this membership program is a scam and not worth the cost, however, we have had quite the opposite experience thus far. Well worth our bronze membership fee. Unrelated to this location, but worth mentioning due to the association, was the absolutely terrible custom service experience had when calling the Saratoga Springs location to inquire about adding a couple nights there on our vacation. The woman who took the call gave incorrect information and was rude. Every review about her out 'there' on the internet is supported from my experience. She needs to find a new profession because customer service isn't for her. Sadly even the professionals working here knew of her terrible reputation and had fielded complaints... I hope the owner takes appropriate action soon to address.

They were amazing at catering to vegan and vegetarian's as well! The camp staff in general was awesome. We had several classes including mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and yoga. The staff helped set up materials and walked us through how to properly use them every step of the way. The staff even set up an area for Olympic games and transported water as well.
