However we felt that the house is held back by a few issues. The bath towels provided are super small - somewhere between hand towel and bath towel size - and would not be comfortable once winter is in full swing. Additionally, the electric stove has probably seen better days and should be replaced. It took me 10 minutes and a look through an online instruction manual just to figure out how to turn it on and a further half an hour to cook 4 pancakes because it just never got hot enough. Perhaps the biggest problem was the flies in our room - the lookout - which are pictured below. There were five or so clustered on our window in the morning and they made the room seem dirty. I feel like these were minor issues, but the biggest hold up for this house is the host. Alex was extremely unresponsive when we left some Tupperware in the house and returned to retrieve it after we checked out. Additionally, he messaged me after our stay and told us that anything less than a 5 star review was a 'bad review'. After letting him know my feedback on the house (everything above) he promptly blocked me (I think) and then left a superficial negative review of me in retaliation to my four star rating. I wouldn't recommend this place now for all the above reasons.

The bathroom has a shower and was stocked with towels. Living room was fully furnished with Roku and WiFi. Both bedrooms and sheets,linens and pillows. The property was well kept,our first night we had dinner outside on the picnic of table over looking the lake,absolutely beautiful view! We had to wind through other RVs and vehicles to get to our assigned spot. The large trees where so close to the site it was impossible to get in with our 40 foot motorhome and had two large wooden platforms with broken boards covering an open hole and a facet leaking watermarking a muddy mess.They moved us to a back in site that was so narrow our slide was inches from the neighboring RV's awning. This park is not Star-Link friendly.

The mattresses were like mostly deflated air mattresses. Stove was leveled and was a safety concern when cooking bacon as the grease would overflow the back of the my griddle. The cookware and utensils were cheap and/or really beat.

A small lake, no large motorized boats are allowed, so it is quiet and peaceful. In fact, the greatest disturbances tend to be other campers who insist on playing their music loudly. Thankfully, there is usually a good amount of space between sites, and most people respect the quiet hours. While this campground is a long way away from where I live, it is definitely worth the drive. If you are interested in fall camping, I can't even being to describe how beautiful it is to wake up in the morning to see the lake surrounded by a riot of colors.

Located close to Indian Lake, the Lewey Lake Campground has multiple entrances off of Route 30N with the main campground the furthest south and what I have labeled on the Yelp map. Keep in mind that the address does not come up properly on Google Maps or Bing maps so look at the Yelp placement for more accuracy. We were at the furthest north campsites which are pretty isolated from everyone else. The sites our group stayed at were situated right next to a stream which was great for sleeping. You couldn't hear anyone around you and even with the goings on at our lower campsite we couldn't hear them at all. There only outhouses at this location of the campground but it is a short drive to the main sites that have real bathrooms and showers along with a nice, simple beach. Despite how close it is to Route 30N, I definitely felt isolated in a good way and would highly recommend staying there for people looking for some interesting camping with reasonably convenient location.
