There were ZERO campsites available anywhere in the Catskills or Adirondacks. After looking for hours, I came across Tin Teepee website. They held their last tent site for me until I got there. The owners and employees were very friendly and accomodating. I had my two dogs with me, which can be an issue at private campgrounds. There was plenty of safe places to walk them. The staff let us know where we could go hiking and swimming too. It's mostly an RV park, but I would go back.

Yes some of the buildings are in need of repair (the building in Barbara C's pictures), but they are being worked on. This facility is run by a husband and wife and they are doing a fabulous job to keep up with all of the repairs and keep the facility looking nice. To Barbara C, Rome wasn't built in a day and repairs to buildings aren't fixed in a day as well. Also, you have bathroom facilities in your camper so why didn't you use those? The playground equipment is not in disrepair it is in good shape and the children I saw playing on it seemed like they were having a great time. As for the game room, did you happen to see the "New" game room? Obviously not, as you would have seen that it is very nice. As far as hearing the Northway, hello you're camping right next to it so you're going to hear the traffic. As I said before my weekend was very nice, and I would recommend this campground to anyone that was looking for a nice small family place to camp.

Wifi has been expanded (but isn't part of your fee; it's an additional cost), pool furniture has been updated, and they're working on replacing the heaters, and the playground is a good size for how small this campground is. Generators are brought in to assist with power usage on busy weekends. A shuttle is available to take people from LGSV to their sister park Lake George Escape for amenities instead of having to drive yourself, and there's no additional cost to use the shuttle or partake in LGE activities. More activities are also planned by the entertainment committee at LGSV including a recent 4th of July weekend with a band one night, karaoke followed by a DJ another night, super soaker wars with the campsites and dodgeball tournaments, and more. This is a quieter campground though; it's a great place to come relax by the river and enjoy nature, but not the place for your kids to be entertained by electronics and shows 24/7.

PROS: Fantastic long zipline run above the creek, The dual-control interlocking tie-off technology is a great improvement that makes unintentional detachment from the fall protection system impossible. Great to see all ages and stages of people on the course. Onlookers (non-participants) are welcome to observe the course from the trails and picnic benches. Lots of parking, clean toilet facilities.

What a great experience for our family! During these crazy Covid times, the organization and…read morecleanliness exceeded my expectations. My husband and I were very impressed with how smoothly instructions were given throughout our experience. The process of gathering the different groups of rafters and getting them fitted for PFD's, then loaded and unloaded on the buses was perfectly streamlined. We both felt safety was a top priority. When coupled with the personality plus guides on the bus and leading our raft, the trip was a great success. Aiden was our guide and provided plenty of humor, great conversation and just the right amount of water fun for our family. A couple days later we went to another company for lazy river tubing (a service not provided by Wild Waters) and the lack of organization and lackluster attention to Covid guidelines was extremely disappointing in comparison. We almost booked our rafting excursion with this competitor, but were so glad we didn't -- we really dodged a bullet! I couldn't recommend Wild Waters Outdoor Center more.
