I haven been here since it was Zachels and was pleasantly surprised, the remodel is really nice. I ordered a steak salad, it was delicious and plentiful. I opted to add fries for an additional $1. They use real steak cooked to your liking (not chipped), it comes with egg, tomato, cucumber, kalamata olives, cheese and more. The fish is breaded and comes with fries it was a hardy piece of cod and didn't include tail. Our server (Laura) was fast, friendly and efficient. The schoolhouse was all decked out for Halloween and looked really cool. We'll definitely be back.

Anyways, our group was of about 12 people so they had to put together a few tables so we could all sit together which was nice, there were at least 5 tv's I could look at from my view. All of which had different things broadcasting on them. The waitress was very nice and she was very helpful. The free popcorn there is definitely what makes this place famous. I got an Italian Hoagie and was satisfied with it, also got fries with it. One thing I did notice while I was there was that the floor was somewhat crumby but that was taken care of because a waiter vacuumed it up. Overall a great experience but there were just a few minor inconveniences.

It is a rare occurrence for me to write a negative review, and not something I enjoy. However, in…read morethis case it is fully justified. I came on a Thursday evening with a group of coworkers. The place was mostly empty when we arrived and stayed that way throughout the night. The building is quite large and the interior is actually quite nice. However, that is where the positives in this review end. After placing a few orders of whole wings to share at our table, we were informed that we just ordered the last of their whole wings for the evening. Not to worry though, they assured us that they still had wing dings available. After placing 2 orders of those, our server came back to say that they were now completely out of all types of wings. This was disappointing because we were all excited to eat a lot of wings that night. I did manage to snag a few of the wings that were ordered before they ran out, and I realized that I wasn't missing out on much. The skin was soggy and the sauces tasted bland. Overall, the quality of food, service, and atmosphere were lacking at this establishment. I would not go back in the future and I would recommend looking elsewhere if you are in search of a sports bar.

It took a few minutes for our…read moreserver to appear with menus, and again after getting our drink orders, but she seemed to be the only server working on a busy Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was a bit noisy, even though no bowling seemed to be happening. The food was typical bar fare, but cooked well enough to be considered comfort food. The chili was more sweet than spicy, and had a good texture. Street parking was all I saw.

A Disappointing and Disrespectful Experience -- Please Read Before Visiting…read more My sister and I drove over 4 hours from the DMV area to Pennsylvania for a wedding and ended up staying at Foggy Mountain Lodge (review for that coming soon). After checking in and settling our things, we began the search for somewhere to eat on July 4, 2025, which wasn't easy, as most places were closed for the holiday. After a long search, we landed on this place based on the reviews and decided to give it a try. From the moment we stepped inside, the energy was uncomfortable. The dining area had only a few tables occupied and several people were seated at the bar. As we entered, we were immediately met with long, unwelcoming stares that made the atmosphere tense and awkward. Wanting to be respectful, I waited at the bar with my sister to ask the bartender if we should seat ourselves. She turned around and proceeded to speak to and acknowledge everyone at the bar except us. We were standing right there. She looked past us like we weren't even present. It was uncomfortable and frankly, humiliating. Eventually, a staff member walked out from the kitchen and I asked them instead. They were kind and confirmed that we could seat ourselves and said the bartender would be with us shortly. We sat at one of the high-top tables near the bar, just inches away from the bartender, and waited. No water. No greeting. No acknowledgment. We watched as the bartender left the bar to serve two women who walked in after us. Another staff member, the same one who originally said we could seat ourselves, came back a few times to check in but all she really said was "you have menus" or "she should be with you soon." We sat there, visibly ignored, while every other table had drinks or food. We had nothing. We weren't even acknowledged by the bartender once. It became clear. We were being purposely overlooked. Whether it was due to race or some other reason, I don't know. But I do know that we were the only ones treated this way, and it felt horrible. After a while, I told my sister we should leave. As we got up, a couple at the bar stopped us and asked, "Are you guys walking out?" I said yes, and the woman responded, "You can go to Caroline's down the road. This place is terrible." That interaction alone was strange but it reinforced how off the environment truly was. I replied, "We're going to McDonald's, probably better service there." We didn't go to McDonald's, but at that point, anywhere else would've been better than being disrespected like that. I want the owners and staff to know we were visitors. We were respectful. We did nothing to deserve the lack of acknowledgment or service. And while some may write this off as a misunderstanding, being ignored while everyone else is served and welcomed is not a misunderstanding. It's mistreatment. If you're a traveler, especially if you are Black, I cannot recommend this place. I am grateful we didn't spend a dime there because the emotional toll of that experience was more than enough. Pennsylvania is beautiful, but this stop was a harsh reminder that hospitality isn't always extended to everyone equally. Do better.

This special always comes to mind if I'm looking to eat out on a Tuesday. Lots of TVs as it really is a sports bar on the patio. Still need closed captioning however. How hard is it to add that? We waited quite a while before our waitress, Amber S., came to take our drink order. Even after ordering simple drinks (a Diet Coke and iced tea), it took a long time for them to arrive. After that, we ordered two slices of pizza and a salad, and it took at least 45 minutes for our food to come out. During the entire wait, Amber never checked in with us, provided any updates about the delay, or asked if we needed anything else. A quick update would have gone a long way, but we felt completely ignored throughout the visit. After we finished our food, the situation continued. We waited a long time trying to get the check while Amber repeatedly walked past our table, even as we tried to flag her down. It was frustrating because this restaurant used to be much better when it was North Park Lounge. Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill since it became Deejays. It also didn't appear that a manager was present to help address the situation. I hope the restaurant takes feedback like this seriously and works on improving the level of service.
