This parking structure is like most public parking in Pasadena, free for the first 90 minutes, then charge additional with max rate. The exit is on green street. It's convenient to majority old town restaurants and shops, and usually my to-go parking in this area.

Such a super convenient parking garage with good parking rates! I parked here several times while visiting Old Town Pasadena and didn't have any issues at all. Some of the people park cray and there are a few blind turns when you exit, but other than that, it serves its' purpose. It's walking distance from several shops, restaurants, and the Pasadena Convention Center. The first 90 minutes is free and only $2 and hour after that with a $6 daily maximum. So you can essentially park there all day and only pay $6! There's a flat $5 fee if you park after 10pm (you must exit by 5am). Would love to have these kinds of rates in San Francisco! Wishful thinking, of course. I've read some previous reviews stating that people have gotten their cars broken into. Thankfully that didn't happen to me, but I did notice that this parking lot is very busy and there are always people walking around. Someone would really need to be fast and sneaky to break into a car here. Overall, it's a great place to park if you're looking for something convenient and affordable.

This parking garage makes the first 90mins free. That immediately makes it superior to any other place, especially if you are there to get some coffee or make a quick purchase at one of the nearby shops. I recommend going here when shopping in the area. The pricing is very reasonable. P.s When exiting the parking structure be careful of civilians as it can be difficult to see people when exiting out.

i can no longer give this parking structure 5 stars due to the fact that there is no more free 90 minute parking. this schoolhouse structure and the delacey structure used to be the ones to go for your short-term old town parking needs, but the city of pasadena has rid of that and hiked parking rates in its other lots as well. it's $1 for the first 2 hours, which one may argue is not much, but it will add up for those of us who patronize nearby restaurants and shops regularly and a scam if you're just stopping to pick up food like 10 minutes. this is a huge hit to nearby businesses whose customers will be inconvenienced by additional parking costs to visit their establishments.

I hate going to Old Town Pasadena as it is usually crowded but sometimes we need to be there. This parking lot always seems to have an empty spot for me and for the 90 minutes free and cheap additional hour it can't be beat. Warning don't bring your tank size SUV or you will leave crying without finding an adequate space.

Excellent parking, very reliable and reasonable pricing. Really useful for conventions at the Pasadena convention center.

Review #989 2026-059…read more Old Town Pasadena no longer has garages that offer free parking for the 1st 90 minutes. De Lacey Garage is 1 of 3 "Park & Walk" city-owned garages that offers the cheapest rates in the area; Schoolhouse Garage (33 E. Green St.) & Marriott Garage (48 N. Raymond Ave.) are the other 2 sister garages. Both De Lacey & Schoolhouse (1 block east) Garages are more centrally located in Old Town, whereas Marriott Garage is at the edge across from Memorial Park. Rates (as of April 2026): $1: 1st 2 hours $2/hour thereafter $12 daily maximum Or if you truly don't want to pay, you could walk a few blocks west & park at Ralph's (320 W. Colorado Blvd.); however, I'm not sure how vigilant the supermarket is about towing if you're not a customer. When I was a student at Pasadena City College, there was free street parking & limited free time in parking garages in Old Town Pasadena. Since 07/2022, the longstanding 1st 90 minutes of free parking in city-owned parking garages were eliminated & a new policy was implemented to $1 for the 1st 2-hours to fund maintenance & repairs. I was in the area for a Yelp event & wasn't sure if I can find free parking nearby & with my time constraints to return in time for my daughter's swim meet, it was easier to use a parking garage. Luckily, De Lacey Garage is just around the corner of Lather so it was perfect! When I returned to my car, I had a hard time spotting the payment kiosk(s) since there's notices that state you need to pay first before attempting to exit. There was no kiosk by the stairs & elevator, which would be a sensible location to place a kiosk since it's an exit point. I looked at both ends & didn't see one, so I drove to the exit & paid there. It wasn't until I checked the reviews that there's only 1 payment kiosk & it's located at the ground level. If you're planning to dine or shop in Old Town Pasadena, I recommend parking here at De Lacey Garage or Schoolhouse Garage; they're centrally located & cheaper than metered parking.
