Raymond Ave.) are the other 2 sister garages. Both De Lacey & Schoolhouse (1 block east) Garages are more centrally located in Old Town, whereas Marriott Garage is at the edge across from Memorial Park. Rates (as of April 2026): $1: 1st 2 hours $2/hour thereafter $12 daily maximum Or if you truly don't want to pay, you could walk a few blocks west & park at Ralph's (320 W. Colorado Blvd.); however, I'm not sure how vigilant the supermarket is about towing if you're not a customer. When I was a student at Pasadena City College, there was free street parking & limited free time in parking garages in Old Town Pasadena. Since 07/2022, the longstanding 1st 90 minutes of free parking in city-owned parking garages were eliminated & a new policy was implemented to $1 for the 1st 2-hours to fund maintenance & repairs. I was in the area for a Yelp event & wasn't sure if I can find free parking nearby & with my time constraints to return in time for my daughter's swim meet, it was easier to use a parking garage. Luckily, De Lacey Garage is just around the corner of Lather so it was perfect! When I returned to my car, I had a hard time spotting the payment kiosk(s) since there's notices that state you need to pay first before attempting to exit. There was no kiosk by the stairs & elevator, which would be a sensible location to place a kiosk since it's an exit point. I looked at both ends & didn't see one, so I drove to the exit & paid there. It wasn't until I checked the reviews that there's only 1 payment kiosk & it's located at the ground level. I parked at this parking structure last night in Pasadena when I was going to eat at a restaurant across the street. I feel safer parking my car in a parking structure than the street which is why I decided to park here. The rate is pretty reasonable and there also a 90 minute complimentary time as well. I parked in the third level and finding the stairs or elevator was easy. Before you exit, you should pay at the machine which is on the ground level where the stairs and elevator are. It takes cash or credit card but there was also someone working the booth as well. read more

I parked at this Delacey Parking Garage as it is close to The Movement Clinic where I had a physical therapy session appointment the other day. It is a multi-tier parking structure. It's very clean. Great location to park when you're shopping and dining. Just check where you're going before selecting your preferred Pasadena parking garage. Parking rates are very reasonable. $1.00 for 1st 2 hours. $2.00 for each additional hour. Daily maximum is $12.00. Lost ticket pays daily maximum. No more free 90 mins parking available. Please note not all businesses provide validations. You will need to pay at one of the pay stations before exiting the garage. Remember where you parked... take a picture of the garage floor if it helps you to remember. I will be parking here regularly in the future for my future physical therapy appointments. Great parking structure. Twelve bucks for a day's worth, located in a safe, low key area, it's near the Pasadena Convention center, and very easy to maneuver. You drive up, get your ticket and park. I used to like parking here. However, if their pay machine freezes and you call for assistance, all they do is offer you to pay again. I had already paid my ticket and the machine froze on "remove card" which I had. It was stuck like that for a few minutes. I asked for assistance from the parking attendant and he said I had to wait. As if I hadn't been waiting already. He then said I had to pay again. I showed him the transaction on my card and let him know I already paid and I'd just like to be let out. He refused to open the gate and let me out, even though I had already paid. He said I'd have to pay again. Why would I pay twice? I reiterated that I had already paid. I pulled up the transaction on my phone which shows the location, date, and time and showed him I paid and it's not my problem the machine froze. I asked to be let out again because cars are piling up behind me and I already paid. He pressed the call button and it connected me to someone. They told me the machine froze so they would reset it. But, they said I had to pay again. They refused to let me out even though I already paid. I was tired of dealing with their ploy to get more money out of me so I just paid it again. But now I'm disputing the charge with my bank. I don't recommend going to this structure. Even though it's extremely affordable and centrally located. Yelp 100 Challenge 2018 - # 14/100 It's good that the first 90 minutes is free. It's $2 per hour thereafter (or a fraction thereof). Maximum $6. It was packed the day I went. I drove all the way up to the roof then back down to the basement where they also have a park and wash deal. I saw someone walking from the stairs and decided to follow them (stalking?) to their car. The spaces are ridiculously tight. It's good I'm a pro at parking rear-end first. I don't know if that's the going rate for parking in Pasadena. I was rejected from even being allowed entrance to this structure because I ride a motorcycle. The machine wouldn't let me in and the structure personnell pointed at the sign that said 'no bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades' means that my street legal, registered, and insured motorcycle was not allowed in. read more

It's hard for me to get excited about parking structures. Usually, I just get annoyed with either their quirky setups and rules or their prices or both. Both times I came to Delacey Parking Structure, it was late enough that parking was free, so I can't really complain about the price. There is some quirkiness to the setup, especially the differing angles of some of the spaces, but it's not that bad. Mostly, the spaces are too narrow, and it feels kind of dangerous to walk through the structure itself with all the cars whizzing past you. If you exit on foot out the back alley, that feels kind of desolate even though you're in Pasadena, bro, it's not sketchy and if you're afraid of alleys just because they're alleys, then you're afraid of all the wrong things in life. In general, we should be afraid of things that are actually dangerous, not just things that scare us when we happen to think about them. There's a big and important difference, in case the last year-and-a-half hasn't taught you that already. Back to the back alley. If you play your cards right and refuse to follow all of your directional instincts, you'll be rewarded with a nice stroll past a lovely brick building, and somehow, some way, you'll be on Pasadena Avenue. Just pretend you know what the hell you're doing, walk north, and then you'll hit Colorado Boulevard, and you can impress your date with your limited omniscience of all things local. Unfortunately I had the worst experience at this facility just a few minutes ago - around 5:20pm I parked at the upper level. Paid for parking at the station prior to entering the elevator and paid the amount due of $7.00. When my husband and I went to the exit we inserted our ticket and we're prompted to pay $9.00. We asked for an attendant. The attendant stated that there was no payment on our end. I looked at my bank account and saw that $7.00 was deducted from my account. I explained this to the rep on the intercom. After going back and forth for some time I requested to speak to a supervisor. I spoke with Patrick. Explained the same thing to him. He stated that there is no payment on their end with my card number. I again specified that I can see the deduction on my bank. He told me that it's likely a pending charge and is not an actual charge- (now this is something that I cannot verify at this time as I see the charge as I see with many charges I made for the day and weekend. Patrick stated that he would bring someone to our car. Ridiculous as we are holding up traffic. Here come some guy who starts our interaction with something similar to - how if I open this for you and lose my job... blah blah blah! Very inappropriate. We showed him my bank account and he wanted to again state what the first rep and Patrick said - that it was not going to be charged on my account. He asked if we got a receipt. I showed him my bank account. I wish I knew his name... because he was rude. He then said that if he lets us out and if he loses his job then it's our fault! That he hopes we thank him when we go to sleep at night. That he's stealing from the city for us! Why were all of those comments necessary? How were those helpful! If the city of Pasadena is hurting or will be hurting over $7.00 if this charge doesn't seem to "go through" then I assume they have more problems than this one! Perfect parking for all the local shops in Old Town. As mentioned, first 90 minutes are free and maximum is $6. Super affordable compared to other parking facilities in LA. Parking can be a little tight- especially as you head down to the basement, but overall no complaints. Staff is amazing: HECTOR is super friendly and approachable. He's helped me out multiple times and I can't stress enough how efficient and pleasant he makes my checking out experience here. read more

This is the parking lot we always go to during lunch time and over the weekends. The structure is very good and can hold lots of cars. It's very easy to get in and out. You can park here 90 mins for free and I find it very decent amount of time as you can just walk to your car right after you eat. What's more, the location of this parking lot is very close to lots of my favorite stores , so parking here makes it easy to go anywhere in old town. It's a very decent parking spot. I park at this structure sometimes when I am visiting Old Town. I really like that the first 90 minutes are free here (Why does Pasadena have to charge for parking? Totally hate that, don't you?). And if I happen to stay a bit longer, then I have no shame in driving my car out of the structure and right back in for another free 90 minutes (yep, that's right). Anyways, I have always been fortunate to find a space here every time I've been here (both on weekends and week day evenings). I inserted my parking ticket into a payment machine and it said "no payment required". When I came up to the exit, then I was required to pay at that point. Shouldn't these parking structures allow 20 minutes grace period so that we can leave the parking lot?? I may as well have stayed another hour to make the extra $2 worth paying. I was in line to leave the parking structure when the exit machine malfunctioned while the car ahead of me was trying to pay. The on-site attendant took her own sweet time opening the machine, retrieving the stuck ticket, fiddling with the mechanism, and then closing up the machine again. By the time it was fixed and it was my turn to pay, the long delay kicked me into the next hour (by a minute) and I had to pay the extra charge. So I asked the attendant to reduce my parking fee because of the malfunction, and she simply pressed the help button and said to speak to someone else. Then that person on the intercom also refused to care or do anything. So they forced me to pay more because they don't want to accept responsibility for their faulty exit machine. It is very grateful that the first 90 minutes are free. Comparisons may not be appropriate, but many auto parks in DTLA charge at least over $5 for first 20 minutes parking. I hope that DTLA has this kind of parking lot soon. One thinng to keep in mind is that about 10 minutes before the end of the free parking process, you have to go back to your car and start the engine. i can no longer give this parking structure 5 stars due to the fact that there is no more free 90 minute parking. this delacey structure and the schoolhouse structure at green and fair oaks used to be the ones to go for your short-term old town parking needs, but the city of pasadena has rid of that and hiked parking rates in its other lots as well. it's $1 for the first 2 hours, which one may argue is not much, but it will add up for those of us who patronize nearby restaurants and shops regularly and a scam if you're just stopping to pick up food like 10 minutes. this is a huge hit to nearby businesses whose customers will be inconvenienced by additional parking costs to visit their establishments. none of the parking profits are reinvested back into the structure either as it has aged over the years, and some spaces have been restriped so the spots are even tighter to maximize the number of cars aka more money. read more

This parking structure has a great location for shopping, eating, or walking around Old Town Pasadena. Other lots around there have prices charges for parking, but this lot is 90 minutes completely FREE. Just make sure to make it back on time. The attendants who collect your ticket when you leave are generally very polite. The only complaint that I have is that almost all of the parking spots are very small, all meant for very compact cars. Bigger spots are available on the roof. Besides that, parking in this structure is your best option for exploring Old Town. read more

We came on a Sunday afternoon after going to the monthly Flea market a couple blocks away. Initially, we were going to spend a while looking for street parking or eventually giving up and paying $3/20minutes in the private lots...until we discovered Delacey Parking Structure on Yelp. Cheapest parking around and super easy to drive in and out of. You get 90 minutes for free and after that it's $2 an hour! After 5PM they also have a flat rate that is super affordable (I forgot how much but definitely under $10). We had no trouble trying to pay, the people in the little kiosk were not too slow as others claim... I think they customers didn't want to pay after 90 minutes. With this parking lot, my family and I were able to spend a nice Sunday strolling through downtown Pasadena without worrying about expensive parking, rushing, or getting a ticket. I park here for work every day. Well. I use to. A ticket taker here won't stop asking me to go to out to lunch or dinner with him despite me obviously being uninterested. He gives me little gifts and has given me his number several times. Why do I have to deal with this every time I work?? I just want to give them my ticket and go Another ticket taker ALWAYS makes a comment on whether or not I'm wearing makeup. "You look so pretty with your makeup today, why weren't you wearing it the other day? You looked so tired. Today you look professional." Why can't she keep her opinions to herself?? This parking structure is my go-to whenever I'm in Old Town Pasadena. WHY I RECOMMEND THIS STRUCTURE: PROS: - First 90 minutes free! Freaking awesome! I generally don't take that long to shop so it's right up my alley. The other day, I had Noodle World with my aunt and cousins, and I was out for 2.5-3hrs, and I paid $2 for parking. I don't mind...beats looking out for meter maids. - I've always found a space, even if the space is for a compact car. - The location of this parking structure is incredibly convenient! Its nearby all the shops and restaurants! CONS: - The elevator almost never works, so if you have a stroller, beware! - The stairs is a little cramped, but they're not horrible. Old Town isn't really that great. The structure has several levels and also has elevators. I never liked coming to Old Town before I found out about this structure. Do not park here. Unless you're prepared to get ripped off. I parked here at 10:30 pm on a Saturday night. I understood that the flat fee would be $10. So I paid my $10, the machine said take receipt but did not print a receipt. No big deal, I've never had a problem with parking lots. I walked up to my car, drove down, and then inserted my ticket, and it said I owed $2. That was crazy, i had already paid my $10! So I pushed the intercom button and explained that I already paid the $10 and he said that theres a ten minute grace peirod that I must have taken too long in between paying and leaving the lot. I told him there was no way I took ten minutes, and he told me "if its charging you, obviously you did." So I say to myself, fine, its only $2, its not worth getting angry over, so i put the ticket back in and now it's charging me $4!
