Long time friends and I were meeting up for dinner at Bone Kettle this past weekend. Before heading there, I needed to know where to park since it was in downtown Pasadena. I normally park at School House Garage on Greene St., but thought I find a closer parking garage which I did at Marriott Park & Walk Structure on Raymond Ave... only 2 blockish north of Bone Kettle... PERFECT! This parking garage is open for 24 hours. It was clean. I was able to find close parking to the exit on the 2nd floor. Pasadena changed their parking prices... first 90 mins used to be free and each additional hour is $2.00. Now... first 90 mins is $1.00 and each additional hour is $2.00 which is actually still resonable. Daily max or lost ticket is $25.00... now this has skyrocketed. You will need to make payment at their pay stations as they do not have any attendants at the exit. Pay stations accept cash, coins, and credit cards. After payment, you will get your ticket back and you'll insert your ticket at the exit machine. I don't remember if they allow payment at the exit machine or if they'll give you back the ticket though. I'll have to pay more attention next time LOL. I'll definitely park here again should I be nearby to dine or attend an activity. Happy Parking! Tip: Always plan ahead and check out where you want to park so you're not scrounging around for parking. You could be spending that time at the dining table with your family and friends. Happy Gathering!

Not a bad option for parking in Pasadena. Across from Memorial Park, close to many nice restaurants, just a few blocks away from downtown. 90 minutes free, $2 per hour after that. OK for the area. Pasadena is not an easy place to park around. They have 2 entrances- one public parking (that's where you need to go), one for the Marriott Hotel. Too bad last time I needed to use it they had it temporarily closed (that's why I gave it lower grades) for no good reason. I needed to go to Levitt Pavilion for a show and it'd have been perfect, being right across. Plus we had a cooler, lawn chairs, etc. Oh, well, it made us work hard and found a free spot on the street (rare in the area) and we ended up saving some $$$. But otherwise, good garage for the area, a bit off the beaten path.

One of the better parking 90 minute free parking structures in Pasadena. Make sure you enter the public parking entrance and not the one for the Marriott hotel. I've been fed up with the Green Street structure always being jam packed, where you have to wait for someone to leave and then you swoop in to take their spot. I've had awesome luck with this structure, never have to wait just pull into an open spot.

Review #989 2026-059…read more Old Town Pasadena no longer has garages that offer free parking for the 1st 90 minutes. De Lacey Garage is 1 of 3 "Park & Walk" city-owned garages that offers the cheapest rates in the area; Schoolhouse Garage (33 E. Green St.) & Marriott Garage (48 N. Raymond Ave.) are the other 2 sister garages. Both De Lacey & Schoolhouse (1 block east) Garages are more centrally located in Old Town, whereas Marriott Garage is at the edge across from Memorial Park. Rates (as of April 2026): $1: 1st 2 hours $2/hour thereafter $12 daily maximum Or if you truly don't want to pay, you could walk a few blocks west & park at Ralph's (320 W. Colorado Blvd.); however, I'm not sure how vigilant the supermarket is about towing if you're not a customer. When I was a student at Pasadena City College, there was free street parking & limited free time in parking garages in Old Town Pasadena. Since 07/2022, the longstanding 1st 90 minutes of free parking in city-owned parking garages were eliminated & a new policy was implemented to $1 for the 1st 2-hours to fund maintenance & repairs. I was in the area for a Yelp event & wasn't sure if I can find free parking nearby & with my time constraints to return in time for my daughter's swim meet, it was easier to use a parking garage. Luckily, De Lacey Garage is just around the corner of Lather so it was perfect! When I returned to my car, I had a hard time spotting the payment kiosk(s) since there's notices that state you need to pay first before attempting to exit. There was no kiosk by the stairs & elevator, which would be a sensible location to place a kiosk since it's an exit point. I looked at both ends & didn't see one, so I drove to the exit & paid there. It wasn't until I checked the reviews that there's only 1 payment kiosk & it's located at the ground level. If you're planning to dine or shop in Old Town Pasadena, I recommend parking here at De Lacey Garage or Schoolhouse Garage; they're centrally located & cheaper than metered parking.

It is close to Chef Tony's Dim Sum, Hello Gelato, YiFang, All India, 85 Bakery, and so many more dining and shopping. It does have a few spaces for free 15 mins parking... sometimes I use this option when I'm picking up a to-go order from All India. Otherwise, if I need to park longer, I'll pay $1 for the first 2 hours. For any additional hour, it's $2 each. Maximum daily or lost ticket, it's $12 total. You can't beat these prices compared to other parking facilities at other cities. Of course, it all depends on where you're at. I think most of the Pasadena parking facilities are set at these prices. Yay! They used to offer first 90 mins parking free, but that is no longer available. Oh well... we gotta go with the times. Grateful for the low parking cost especially when there are so much to see, do, and eat in Old Town Pasadena. I can spend the entire day here! Just a tip, pick a centralized parking structure before heading over to Old Town Pasadena so you don't have to walk too far to get from one end to the other end.
