This is my go-to store. it is convenient, big enough to carry what I need but small enough that quick shopping is possible. But, my favorite part is the staff. I came to this location and had to do an exchange unfortunately Michael was the center store manager and knew nothing about returns he was unable to look up my receipt I told him that he could scan the product with the tablet and pull up the date and transaction. Michael said yes they can do this but in his position he's unable to do that because he doesn't have the equipment. Michael said he could call me back and I can come back to the store but it is 45 minutes out of my way and I only came back to the store since it's the store I made the purchase at so I could be able to return the product. Going forward I feel like they need to have protocols in place to help customers in a situation like this instead of turning customers away causing Customers to not want to return. read more

I stop in here occasionally for floral and bakery gifts as they are near my work. Last week I was in for a Boss's Day gift (honored to be buying on behalf of our entire team at work). My favorite thing about this Schnuck's location is that they have the best individual bakery treats. You can buy a single cupcake or specialty treat for about $2 - very reasonable compared to other bakeries. I picked up a "sundae brownie" - it has a brownie base, a white filling above that and then looks like it has hot fudge running all down it with ribbons topping it off - too cute and boss reports it was very tasty too :) I also wanted to grab flowers. I was looking for an arrangement for about $20, but didn't love the ready made ones (except of course those out of our price range lol). I talked with an associate and she recommended a beautiful fall arrangement they had and said she could do a "chop and drop" if I purchased the vase (I chose a mason jar one). She did an amazing job arranging the drop and even added a raffia ribbon at no charge. The boss was delighted and the team said I did good with our $25. Schnucks helped me do it with reasonable prices and friendly employees! ps.... they also have a reward program where you can earn points to redeem for cashback off a purchase. Very congested messy store. I use it as a quick stop but try not to do large shopping trips. The fresh produce is a disappointment and the checkout lanes are always crowded with out enough scheduled checkers. It was once a beautiful store but worn out now and not service oriented. Close and conveniently located off of Olive. Well organized, clean store. Great produce section. Dated and a tad bit small compared to newer Schnucks markets but has all the necessities for a grab & go type of shopping experience. read more

Ms T and I have been shopping at this Schnucks for the 20 years that we have lived in Chesterfield. On occasion we hit the nearby Dierberg's at Baxter and Clarkson, but only when we can't find what we want at Schnucks. Although we did sit Schnucks out for a year after our debit card was stolen in their security problem. In the meantime, they renovated and while we are working on learning where things are located again, we have returned. We generally find their produce to be good and I have always thought the meat case is better than Dierbergs. It is petty rare that we can't find what we need and base don our experience, prices are very competitive. Strangely enough one of the main reasons we come here regularly is the parking. At Dierberg's, I am never closer than 100 yards and at Schnucks, we are normally very close. read more

I consider this MY Schnucks. I know where things are. I know the sales. I meander through the aisles to see what's new (I call it a walkabout.) If an aisle is empty of patrons, I cruise quickly. Good for steps. Check bakery items, meats and deli offerings. There is always a lot on sale. Around the dairy section, there's a rack of "OOPS!! We Made Too Much" of bakery items. It's in the middle section. Waaaay up front in the corner of cosmetics, there is an end-cap (facing the front of the store, not the aisle) full of incredible discounts. Cotton balls, cotton swabs, tissues, sometimes shampoos and conditioners. It changes a lot. There is also a Clearance Section in the seasonal aisle. Look closely. You could find good deals. This section also changes a lot. Every time I'm there, a Schnucks employee greets me . . . doesn't matter what I'm doing, and it's not as soon as I walk into the store. It's kinda on the cuff in an aisle. That's nice. Today I got good prices on items on sale. read more

I have always loved schnucks and I have supported you guys through thick and thin. From buying tasteless meat from the meat market to stale donuts. Even after getting food poison from the walk up shrimp bar at Ladue Crossing (pre-pandy), I kept coming back. I am proud to have been the very first customer at the Cullinaria store downtown a few years ago and I will never forget when the checker gave me a foam "number one" souveneer to take home with me. What a treat. Now fast forward til today...I am not sure if this is a post pandy change, but my friend Nick S. (I will leave his last name out to protect his privacy, since he is private) (chesterfield resident / loyal schnucks patron), just got some new shoes to wear on his trip to Hawaii. I am not sure if he was kicked out of this store for wearing the Yaloxes or if he is unsure of the rules of your store. I wore Tevas last week with success and I wanted to make sure he is clear to peacefully wear the Yaloxes before being thrown out again. (He mentioned holes on the bottom of the Yalox.) Maybe he simply needs a QR code to enter. I don't know. Please clear things up for us. read more

This is an OK Schnucks. It's pretty close to me. I'll run in to pick up a couple of things but I don't do any major shopping here. I did try to use the pharmacy a few months ago but between their late opening hours in the morning and the less than helpful staff it was a no go. read more

I don't recommend this pharmacy. Although the staff is nice, how this pharmacy refills or fill RX's is ridiculous! Some RX's i've had filled were filled at another "hub" of some sort before it gets here. Today, I came to pick up a refill and an anti-nausea medication I had called in by a Dr's office hours ago. The refill was available (bp meds), but the anti-nausea was "delayed to be filled tomorrow". What pharmacy does that?!? If it was pain meds, does that make sense? No call about the new RX being put off 'till tomorrow... nothing.. When i asked why todays RX was going to be delayed, the RPH said "It just happens in the system". They filled it while I waited. I'm transferring my RX's to a real pharmacy. A pharmacy that has inventory, staff, and fills on site, same day. read more

Grocery store is fine. Pharmacy is terrible. Staff is nice enough but so many issues every time. Not customer service forward thinking at all or communicative with client or with doctors. System does not even allow notes for refill options / issues. This was explained to me by the pharmacist. Again, nice enough staff but unacceptable for actual service. Very slow as well. read more

I was at this local grocery store since they started the new interior construction. They relocated almost everything (customer service, pharmacy, ect). When the reconstruction was finished, it looked like a brand new Schnucks. It took a while to readjust to the new layout especially when I have been shopping here for 5 years. I just received poor customer service by a cashier who snapped at me because i put my groceries on the conveyer belt USING A DIVIDER, while it wasn't moving, saying that the woman who was was being rung out wasn't done putting her groceries the belt. I figured all of her groceries were on the belt setting how the belt was stopped ad her "last" groceries were already at the cashier. The attitude was unnecessary. Her tone was unnecessary. I explained myself and went to a different line because i was so disgusted! The other customer came over to me as i waited a few lines down and apologized for the cashier's snapping, which was nice of her. I have only been to this location a few times but i will not ever come back! read more

Over the years, I've had a decent enough experience shopping with Schnucks. However, since they started doing business with Instacart and using them to deliver groceries, every order has been a mess. Items that are supposed to be cool come warm, there are pricing discrepancies up to 20% above than what the order should cost, and the Instacart customer service is suspect at best. For example, they will not refund and over charged your credit card, they put it as credit on your account so that you have to use Instacart again to get the money you are entitled to. That is just bad business. I don't know if the food that gets delivered from Instacart comes from the store, nobody will tell me that. What I do know is that people are judged by the company they keep, in my opinion if Schnucks has dropped considerably since they started partnering with Instacart. If you want to buy food at Schnucks, I strongly recommend you just get in the car and go get it and not play Russian roulette with the Instacart service. read more

This location is the most convenient grocery store on my way home from work, so I sometimes find myself here. The employees are friendly and helpful, and I can usually find what I am looking for at a reasonable price. On another note, I have been known to have a donut attack in the evening (especially after a certain amount of drinking) and I can usually find a donut here to satisfy my craving. Why oh why is there not a donut shop in the Chesterfield Valley?! Sometimes I could eat a donut and this is a good place to find one:) read more

Not my regular schmucks location but a perfectly acceptable store. I usually find myself here after eating out at one of the restaurants in the same plaza. I tend to buy less if I shop after a meal. Turning me loose in a grocery store when I'm hungry is rarely a good thing. This store has a logical layout unlike a couple of their other stores in the area. Large fresh produce area is a big plus also. I really like schmucks donuts and think they are the best of the grocery store variety in town, with the possible exception of the Straub's that is located right across from the Chase Park Plaza. I appreciate how late this store stays open. Super convenient if you're prowling for late-night donuts. read more

Most of the time whenever I've been here it's been a great experience. The store is kept clean and well-stocked. They have most of everything I need. However, within the past few months whenever I've been here on a Sunday evening, the cashiers are rude and seem to have no disregard for people's feelings. They seem to be on some sort of drugs; either that, or they're just extremely impolite. They joked with their coworkers about items I was buying, and I felt judged and violated. It's not their place to judge me based on what I am purchasing, and if they do have an opinion, at least they should keep it to themselves! I'll continue to visit this store, mainly because it's convenient to me, but I'll skip going on a Sunday evening if this is what I'm going to encounter. read more

Ok! Let's say you just decided to have friends over for the Cards playoff game and need munchies, cardinal-themed cups/plates and a red table cloth. Schnucks, Chesterfield, was ready to deliver! It a nice Schnucks, open 24 hours, friendly staff, adequate selection of produce. The layout appears a tad dated. The pharmacy is hidden, you really have to hunt for it. However, the parking lot is ginormous, and it's super convenient to get to off of Chesterfield Parkway. read more

I ordered deliveries of groceries from Schnucks. Today is the 2nd. time they substituted a product TOTALLY different than what I ordered with no call, text, or email--ALL which they have. It was for a product we will never use and they did not re-deliver what I ordered. This will be LAST time I do Instacart grocery delivery. They should call when a product out of stock and not substitute what THEY want. read more

This one is very nice! It reminds of having the layout of the Ballwin store, but with the fancy atmosphere of some of the newer, county locations. They even have a small grill cafe, something I don't believe even the Des Peres store has (correct me if I am wrong). They also had some tasty fresh-cut fruit that the Twin Oaks store doesn't have. Fresh kiwi, blueberries, and strawberries? YUM! The price is rather steep for a small package, but that what you pay for pre-preparation at any store.
