This is my go to Aldi. I shop here weekly and look forward to the special buys that change weekly. Shopping at Aldi keeps me focused on the food versus bigger multi stores where I get carried away buying unnecessary stuff. The outside aisles perimeter is mainly fresh items and nicely presented. I buy their produce and it's fresh and tasty. (Don't be mistaken this isn't superior quality like you will find in a Schnucks or Dierbergs, but it's good). I love their premade dip selections. They have quite a few options ranging from Mexicali, Spinach Artichoke, Hummus, and other specialty flavors. This is my go to to bring to parties and get togethers. You will not find these dips at other big box stores. I buy their meat and have always had good meat. Beef, chicken and seafood. Nice quality. The paper goods are much more cost effective than other stores. I buy all my baggies, foil, wax paper, etc. here. This store is clean and as stocked as can be. It's been harder in current times. I recommend going early in the day if you can before the shelves clear out. Checking out is super fast! You pack your own bags, I recommend bringing your reusable bags. Clean and organized, except for the isle of home goods, clothing and kitchen utensils. People pick through and leave shelves looking a bit disheveled. I love Aldi's selection of cheeses. Goat and blue cheeses are my faves. Found white bean chips! I have issues with hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), so always on the look out for higher protein and fiber content in a chip. So, I went into this Aldi's today to pick up a little fresh fruit. One of the items I picked up was a bag of oranges. When the oranges were rung up, the price flashed quickly: $4.29 I asked the cashier, "How much were those oranges?" She says, "$3.99." I said, "I think they rang up as more." The cashier rolls her eyes, but then checks the price on the receipt: $4.29. She calls out for a price check, and an asst. manager calls back, "$4.29" I said, "Fine, you can you just keep them." The head manager calls out, "Just price override it for $3.99." I thought to myself, "Oh how nice. Very customer oriented." The cashier finishes ringing up my order, but not before she snidely adds, "Okay, whatever. You only saved 30 cents." I ignored her and went to go bag up my groceries. I guess the idea of my getting the oranges for 30 cents less than what they were ringing up, REEEEEEEAALY bothered the strawboss assistant manager. Because out of nowhere, he pops up with a different bag of oranges and says to the cashier, "Check the price on THIS bag." The oranges ring up as $3.99. So he turns to me, starts to fake laugh and said, "Yeah,...you shouldn't REALLy get those other ones for $3.99," heh heh heh..."Those are the organic ones." I stand there thinking, "This is one of the most petty, disgusting, unprofessional things I've seen in a long time." So I said, "Okay, well...would you like to swap them out?" He goes, "Yeah." So he takes the other bag of oranges and dumps the other oranges into my cart,--some sack or oranges that he picked up from somewhere. And I just thought the whole exchange was one of the most petty, trifling and unprofessional things I had seen in a whole time. So here is your review, Bridgeton Aldi's. This is my least favorite Aldi. Their employee who was stocking was very unkind and snippy when I asked about products and when I asked her to not be so rude she replied "I'm not being rude" and walked away. When I went to tell the manager he couldn't even look me in the eye and said "I guess I'll talk to her" and continued to stock some apples. It was my first and last time going there, I'd rather spend my money somewhere else. read more

Come here to get your quick candy/junk food fix. It's super cheap compared to Walmart/Target. It is really hassle-free. Usually no long lines. Be careful going at night though. Can be a bit sketch during evening. Huge parking lot. Don't forget to bring a quarter if you want to use a cart and bring your own bag so you don't have to pay for one or just grab a box from the store. read more

This isn't my favorite location but it's okay when I need to stop in while in the area. I am a little biased due to the different smaller varieties of some of the more "ethnic" items available here vs other locations that seems to rotate a larger variety of items from various cultures more frequently. I'm a bit of a super smeller and often notice odors sooner than others so despite their silly commercial I smell all the produce. If you've noticed sometimes you'll get produce that looked great leaving the store and 1-3 days later you may be scratching your head at why tomatoes are molding or something ? I can smell it's already going bad soon when it still looks fine and often this location tends to have stuff right on the line between good and bad usually with off season items to be fair and of course they so give they're double money back guarantee so that definitely makes up for any grocery woes when it comes to Aldi's. So have no shame sniff away. Tip if tomatoes smell vaguely or strongly of pumpkin they won't be very tasty and mushrooms will start to take on a fishiness when going bad but still look fresh. read more

I love Aldi. Food is very reasonably priced. It's clean. Its employees are helpful if you need them. The lines move very fast. And they have WAY more healthy options then they did 20 years ago when I was a kid. This is always my first stop on grocery shopping day. Aldi is the best thing to ever happen to the food industry. Finally a company understands that it's about building a company based on helping the average middle class family. While still keeping it at a very affordable price. And the quality is just as good, if not better than anywhere else! But what makes Aldi an exception business is their staff. Everyone is also so happy and greet you with a smile on there face and they will go out of their way to ensure your experience with Aldi is a great one. There's one cashier there who always seems to be there when I'm in, very tall young fellow (football player or weight trainer) but he always makes my day better regardless of the situation. I am always happy to see his face. He in genuine in what he does and he treats every customer the way one should be treated. Everyone should be shopping at Aldi, if you're not you're definitely missing out on a great place of business. 10/10. read more

This is a nice, neat and clean store that is set up like so many of the other Aldi stores in the area. They have everything that all the other Aldi store have. The cashiers were helpful and friendly, and more importantly, they are polite to the customers. I like this store a lot. If I'm in the area and need to go grocery shopping, this is the store where I will be going. I like it and the people there, too. read more
