There is normally only 1 checkout line open for long lines of customers. Not recommended for impatient people who selfishly complain loudly about what we are all experiencing. I don't like that we need to bring our own bags. It keeps costs down I guess. I choose to wait rather than use self-checkout. There is no discount for performing an unpaid service. We also help keep the checker employed by not bowing to corporate greed. Food quality is acceptable. So I continue to shop there.

I don't know any place where you can get half a seedless watermelon. But they had a half ready for my girlfriend -- all wrapped up -- and it was beautiful. It comes from Sikeston. The folks are so friendly and personable, as are the patrons. The address is Delmar, but the open-air market is really behind the shops on Delmar along the huge parking lot that spans east from Cicero's for a couple blocks.
