Favorite fruit stand/plant shop/salad fixings destination or place to go when we want to get a couple fresh food items but don't want to go into a huge store. Old town Florissant vibes for sure. The prices are a little higher than what you would see at a regular grocery store but you pay for convenience I think. We love this place!

I've lived in Florissant for15+ years & finally went to Goeke's Produce for the first time. I wasn't disappointed. Picked up several items that worked for us. I had to question them if their total was right. The hanging flower basket was cheaper than I thought. Great selection of flowers & plants & fresh produce. Support local. Support small businesses.

    Love this stuff! #cafedumonde

They take cash and cards but I heard them say to the woman who check out before me that they do not accept EBT.

The farmers offer fresh vegetables and some even have refrigerated trucks offering a variety of meats. Vendors that offer freshly made breads, pastries, jams and jellies, can almost be classified in either group. Those who are true artisans, are offering handmade jewelry, candles, cutting boards, canes, dog fashions, clothes for children and original pieces of art. That's just a sampling of what you can find walking up and down all the aisles. When I first started coming to this market it was only one of the parking lots. It has now expanded to another one and the variety of merchandise is mind blowing. It is well worth a visit. When you arrive, stop and get a coffee at Joe's and then start your stroll to shop local.

Also available: cucumbers, zucchini, yellow squash, peaches, radishes, cauliflower, plums, celery, cantaloupe, green beans, eggplant, garlic, jalapeno peppers. Much, much more. I don't know any place where you can get half a seedless watermelon. But they had a half ready for my girlfriend -- all wrapped up -- and it was beautiful. It comes from Sikeston. The folks are so friendly and personable, as are the patrons. The address is Delmar, but the open-air market is really behind the shops on Delmar along the huge parking lot that spans east from Cicero's for a couple blocks. It's adjacent to Midtown Farmers Market.
