I love this place!!! It was full of fresh fruit and veggies for a great price. Its located on a semi busy street but I went during the week and it wasn't busy. There is a parking lot but I could see the parking lot filling up quickly during busy weekend days. There was lots of variety and the checkout process was quick and easy. They take cash and cards but I heard them say to the woman who check out before me that they do not accept EBT. I really enjoyed my produce shopping here! read more

This is one of my favorite local spots and I'm here multiple times a month picking up seasonings, produce, and all the other specialty items. I've recently gotten into looseleaf tea and they have so many different flavors, which is another great aspect. The customer service is always friendly and they are always very helpful. They also have weekly specials that are posted in various places around the store and a lot of homemade products which always hit home for me. The store gives you a very family like Home feeling when you enter and it smells really good. Great lighting and everything is labeled descriptively! read more

Favorite fruit stand/plant shop/salad fixings destination or place to go when we want to get a couple fresh food items but don't want to go into a huge store. Old town Florissant vibes for sure. The prices are a little higher than what you would see at a regular grocery store but you pay for convenience I think. We love this place! read more

Service was terrible and employees were rude. Have always shopped there when I questioned being told I could only buy two of one item when there was no sign stating there was a limit I was told to take my business elsewhere. I said no I will finish paying and one of the women started unpacking my items and said they had their regular customers she needed to take care of before me. Since when does a friend's money add up differently in a bank than a non friend but loyal customer? When you check your bank account does it give a regular customer balance and then a non regular customer balance? No all of our money spends the same. So I wouldn't recommend this place. Even though I spent years going every holiday spending three or four hundred dollars it was as important as the neighbor that came in once a week and spent 20. Which last time I checked small business beg for people to shop local. Which I tried but I wasn't local enough or I guess the right person. Because my bill was almost $200 but was told sorry don't want your money I have to wait on my neighbor who might come in and buy this and then they might not. I guess playing might and might not shop at a business in better than a guaranteed sale. But playing a guessing game on if you will sell a product that you didn't grow, spend endless hours preparing, countless family events you sacrificed missing to make this product to sell isn't or doesn't matter to the person being paid to stand and sell it They didn't sell it. So maybe the farmer that woke up at 3 am every morning and missed their kids events would want to know that you wouldn't sell their product because your regulars might come in and buy it at a later date. So does that mean you pay their bills for them until your regulars or neighbor mes in and buys what you didn't want to sell in bulk? Nope it means you got your paycheck but the farmer who grew ig and sacrificed a lot didn't get paid read more

I happened to drive by and I saw their sign for local honey. I'm always up for some fresh veggies and love to shop local! Though the produce wasn't anything special, their carrots are the biggest ones I've ever seen! I was pleased to see some Goya products and a nice selection of items from Slap Ya Mama. I'm always a sucker for beignet mix from Cafe du Monde and would have ended up with some, had I not had an upcoming jaunt to NOLA. I was hesitant to purchase any of the spices, because they were in small plastic containers, with removable tops. Though I'd be confident they were packed with care taken to ensure they were sanitary, it appears anyone can open one up in the store. Barring that, it's a nice place for a quick stop. read more

This place features low quality at high prices (with the exception of a few loss leaders to get you in the door). The fruit is way past its eat by date let alone should be out for sale. They are also not a credit card friendly establishment. They require minimum of $10 to use credit. Who is going to spend $10 on produce that is going to spoil before you can eat it? With silly credit card policies, you should avoid this place and head to Thies'. Or the Dierbergs around the corner. read more

You may be here a while. There are so many spices that you may lose control. You can find ghost pepper here which is a good thing. Lots of plants and veggies and produce as well. Pretty reasonable prices and a lot of inventory read more

Cute market in Florissant around the way. Their prices for produce are cheaper than your local supermarket and locally grown I believe. Really great spice section! You can find anything in there and assorted grains, rice, etc. I usually just look at their sign when driving by to see what is on sale, friendly staff and I think you have to spend $9 or $10 to buy with debit. read more

Lovely small town shop, keeping an old time tradition. Plenty of spices in which to choose and a few home made jars of jelly to choose. A produce department that does carry produce from some of th local and nearby farming communities. Definitely worth a visit. read more

This mom and pop grocery store has fresh fruits and veggies at a reasonable price. My favorite thing about Goeke's is their herbs and spice section. They have the largest selection I have ever seen, and they even have custom blends for marinating and making dips and dressings. If you are looking for healthy snacks, they have containers of nuts and dried fruits. All in all it's a cool little store. read more
