What a shocking surprise with this joint out west in Cornwall.. was driving to Cornwall and got pretty hungry and decided to check this place out with almost 900 reviews on google couldn't pass up on this place!! This place is a mish mash of european food from several countries combine ahaha.. You got Perogies, schnitzels, goulash .. Pasta/pizza It's like poland, germany, hungary and Italy in on place Food was absolutely incredible. Service was definitely top notch. The establishment itself looked tired and needed a re-model but it definitely reminds me of southern comfort with big comfy booths and old dinner sittings. I really like the old style dinner vibe but it could use a makeover soon. Food was incredible.. they're mostly known for their schnitzels.. they had trio one with chicken, pork and cheese I enjoyed the cheese the most wow it tasted like a big giant patty of cheeeese breaded and just melted in my mouth. Pork belly was a bit rubbery skiled that.. the mac and cheese was deeelish Alfredo Pasta really amazing garlicky and creamy filled flavour Love the al dente cook on my fettuccine. The rice was super fresh and fluffy Those Pierogies wooow crispy and soft gooey potatoe cheddar filling on the inside with onions and chicken toppings, coleslaw was pickly but seasoned perfectly Overall food was incredible and I had to try a few things as I'm not always in cornwall but this place was definitely a treat! Overall, I will definitely be coming back here again to try out the Goulash .. and everything else again! Totally worth the hour drive !! Cheers

We were on our way from Rochester, New York to attend scientific meeting in Montreal. My husband was driving and was getting a bit hangry, so I yelped the closest place that appeared to show signs of civilization. Our curiosity was piqued by the positive reviews and intriguing name of Schnitzel's European Flavours pub. Most of the reviews were several years old and there were a couple of more recent lackluster reviews, but we decided to take our chances. I ordered a Rurban's lager. I generally think of lagers as piss in a can, but they were out of the IPA that was my first choice. The lager was surprisingly complex and flavorful! My husband ordered a Coke like a true American. Next we ordered some hors d'oeuvres, apple feta salad and poutine. They were out of the goulash poutine so we got the chicken poutine. Maybe it was the hanger talking but it was like nectar of the gods. The salad was also tasty--a nice combo of tangy arugula and a dressing with a hint of sweetness. We gulped down all the poutine and salad. For an entree we ordered the German plate. See picture below. A flat piece of crispy goodness sat upon a bed of pesto pasta. The plate also came with warm sauerkraut, potato salad, and a fat weiner. Everything tasted delicious!

A great local beer with a late lunch.

My go-to meal is a Guinness and the German Plate as it's filled with all the goods you want: schnitzel, sausage, spaetzle, sauerkraut, and potato salad!

We asked, and they've only been open two weeks! It's a lovely English style pub with tin-looking walls and dark furniture - everything is new and tidy. There are booths to sit at, a long bar, and high tables near the window, so there are some nice seating options. We tried the cream of carrot and ginger (soup of the day) and it was outstanding. I tried the sandwich of the day, a roast chicken with caramelized onions on 'mediterranean' bread, which was a simple white bread with some bits of kalamata olives in it, I think. I had an option of fries, salad, or potato salad, and went for the salad, which was a pile of lovely fresh greens with a creamy balsamic on top. Another of us had the chicken leek casserole which was huge and tasty. With some tricky to find imports on tap like Newcastle brown and Old Speckled Hen, we really felt like we'd stumbled into a nice example of a UK pub in Brockville. They have a bunch of premium and imported options for beer on tap plus a reasonable wine list. Worth a stop!

I've given Kelsey's three stars even though it has the look of least a 4 star (for Cornwall,…read moreanyway). The greeter offered us either booth or chairs when we first came in, but realized after we requested the booths that there were none available. It certainly was a busy lunch hour! Kelsey's has been recently renovated. They have replaced their movie star posters with those of black and white scenes - very artsy. Kelsey's certainly has a quieter atmosphere than East Side Mario's, for example, and does seem more family friendly. But I don't appreciate being charged 10.99 for a small salad and a wrap in order to help pay for their recently revamped decor. The Greek pita WAS delicious, but I finished it very quickly. I could have ordered an appetizer, but they are generally 10$ each. I felt the need to stretch out my meal with conversation and slowly drinking away at my water and Virgin Caesar to justify the price of the item I ate. Now, generally, 10.99 when doing a sit-down meal seems very reasonable - but the quantity just wasn't there. (On the other hand, if you sign up on their website, or complete a survey, you can get a free appetizer with your entree or full meal over 25$). If you're looking for a quiet location that is good for conversation, this would be a good place. Just be prepared to pay for it.
