Visited here for lunch yesterday. The food and ambiance were great BUT we were a group of 25 and between us , the other diners and the men at the bar drinking their lunch it too far too long for the food to arrive. The administration knew we were coming and could have had another server working. She did an admirable job of it but she was alone ! Next time I won't wait 1.5 hours for the meal. read more

Best wings in Montreal and the menu is great. Last time I went I a burger that was fantastic

We heard about this place after a viral video surfaced online of Halle Berry eating their chicken wings and praising them during her stay in Montreal. About a week after the video was released, we showed up on Tuesday December 29th around 5 pm and the restaurant was entirely sold out. They opened at 3pm and had NO more food left by 4pm. I really didn't know this place before hand, and it seemed very far out of the way considering it's at the extreme west of the island but determined to try them anyways we came back, we placed an order online for the next day and got a few different flavors. At around $2 per wing, these are on the pricey side but they are large and juicy, well seasoned with awesome sauces. My favorite is honey garlic. It is unfortunate during these times that we can only get take out since the food gets cold and wings are one of those things that can get a bit soggy by the time we arrive home. None the less, they were delicious and the service was very friendly when it came to ordering and picking up. Note that if you order online, there is a minimal service fee ($1?) and they do charge for additional sauces. I asked for a very small side of ranch sauce and it was $1.15. read more

Welcome to Cunningham's , the place to get the best Buffalo Chicken wings of all time and of all of Montréal by far. We've been going to Cunningham's since my college days at John-Abbott and every time we go they never disappoint. Not only is their Pub/ "Casse-croute" is what we say in french as the proper term for their food, their service is wonderful! They truly care and they always are glad to see us come back here to dine. We always use to come here on Tuesday's for the 1/2 off wings special and boy were they incredibly busy but they never showed their stress and made us feel welcome and happy to serve us. Unfortunately Covid Hit and that special is no longer available for now as they are worried about the whole social distancing policy and denying people their Wings ahaha don't want to upset people either so I'm sure and hopeful they put it back on their menu as it's by far the best place and the best special they could have think of. Being at Cunninghams is like being home: friendly, familiar faces, comfortable & welcoming environment, fantastic food & cold drinks, hockey on the TV & incredible live music. Jim & his team have gone out of their way to make this a spot you want...no, NEED...to come back to, over and over again. Just talking about is making me impatient to go tonight for some Lemon Shrimp, Thai baked Brie (and their hot dipping bread is to die for), some award-winning wings, a Dirty Devil vodka Caesar or 3 and the musical stylings of Tom & Leela of The Damn Truth! This is my favourite chicken wings place in Montreal. The size and quality of the wings are incomparable to the competition. Staff is friendly and nice. Atmosphere is what you'd expect for an Irish Pub, great location in St Anne's. Food and drinks are well priced, highly recommend to get wings on Tuesdays during the wings night deal, makes it much more affordable. 10/10 keep up the good work! read more

On a trip to Montreal my best friend's brother suggested this place. So glad on our last meal before we left, we took his suggestion. Their Garlic fries were amazing. Their wings are on fire, you have to try the honey garlic, Thai chili, sweet barbecue and jerk. The only thing I was disappointed in, was the fact that I didn't get any sauces to go. read more

I've been to Cunninghams many many times over the years, be it for corporate lunches or get togethers with friends. It has a good atmosphere, great drink selection and decent food to price ratio. You could easily plunk Cunninghams down in the middle of Crescent street and it would fit right in. read more

We get take out from there often. The staff is inconsistance with if they can or can not accommodate our special requests. The wings...all flats or all drums (won't do it for you)...extra crispy (you are lucky if they are even crispy or in some cases cooked all the way. Wings come with fries...the portion varies from time to time so you never know if you need to order an additional side of fries if sharing. Very little carrots and celery and far from enough ranch or blue cheese. The moment you ask if you get just a little more veggies they ring up a side and now it's like you have a catering size amount. It seems they host a lot of private parties but even on those days or nights they won't even allow you to place an order Togo. read more

It's true Cunningham's wing night is legendary! When you first arrive on Tuesday night it's really busy like a pub would be downtown Montreal people are watching hockey and drinking beer you don't really see the giant wings being delivered to the table, because people are eating them fast..when you order there is about six different sauces and you can do a half and half mix the deal is you buy 6 you get 12, and when you buy 12 you get 24 the prices range from $15 to $25. the atmosphere is lively and the servers are extremely polite and professional. Excellent wings. The best on this side of the island anyhow! When I want to go out for wings, I always think of Cunni's. Recently, they added an outdoor terrace and changed their menu to include new items like the Kung Pao Cauliflower bites and even a pretzel. They added a few other things, like fish tacos, excellent. We really like the fried pickles, the piri piri chicken wrap (wrapped in naan!), and the wings. Be warned that the wrap is extremely spicy, and this is coming from 2 people who put hot sauce on everything! The hamburgers I've tried have been so-so, and the sweet potato fries are better than the regular thick-cut fries they have (and I despise sweet potato fries, but am willing to concede this!). The street-side terrasse they added this summer is really cute, with fresh herbs growing in the planters! Yes it's unfortunate that Cunningham's is not on the water-side of the street, but you'll find better food here than at 95% of the restaurants across the way. Have your meal here, and then go for a walk along the boardwalk instead of eating at one of the other restaurants (unless it's Violet Angel, which is also delicious and has a cute terrasse). I hadn't been here in about a decade (back to my JAC days), but it was a familiar feeling as soon as I walked in. Manager is cheery but rough attitude, works for the location but seems as though he might be too comfortable with "oh it's a student town" mentality as the way he speaks to guests leaves something to be desired. Fortunately the wait staff were on point so it helped make it a more "service" atmosphere. We went on wing night and took a while to be sat due to the size of our group. Wings took close to a half hour to come out which was longer than expected despite the place being busy. Sweet potato fries has a burnt taste to them despite not being overcooked, usually a sign of unchanged fryer oil. Onion rings were just ok. Wing sauces were good and the size of the wings is always a plus. Beer was flat and unpleasant, second pint of a different draft was well carbonated however. Grabbed a deep fried cheesecake for dessert which was delicious. Many menu items and beers that are overpriced, wouldn't go unless on a specials night. Wing night gets 5 stars but overall theyre only worth a pint and a snack rather than to be a regular's bar for me. read more

Simply put: the best chicken wings on the West Island. (Discount on Tuesday's!) Solid variety of domestic/imported beer on tap. The only problem with this bar is the live music which is put on far too loud (loud as in you can't hear the person speaking directly in front of you) - I avoid going on certain nights because of this. Cunninghams is one of those jewels that inhabit the small towns like Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue that people lunge for. Cunninghams is a small pub offering pretty good food (BEST WINGS I've ever had in my life), the most satisfying deserts I've ever had, a decent selection of beer, decent atmosphere and above average space management. Even when crowded, the tables were arranged in such way that moving around was still possible without tucking in the stomach too much. I've never tasted something so good as the fried cheese cake. Dear holy mighty god of diabetes was it amazing. On the downside, with quality came the price and it's not outrageously expensive but it does take a toll on a student's wallet! So be careful! Also in all my visits, I've only seen that blonde older waitress smile and be friendly once... :S! read more

The most amazing chicken fingers I have ever had, served with fresh crispy perfectly seasoned fries. Their lamb shank is to die for, will always melt in your mouth. Best wings in Montreal by far! Wings are huge, sauces are fantastic and there is a large variety so they cater to any potential fried chicken desire. Personal favourites are the peri peri, suicides and thai chili but the honey garlic is just behind. Rest of the menu is is rich, homey feeling and overall fantastic place to meet up for a beer or glass of wine and a good meal with friends or partner. I only come in on Tuesday's for the wing special. It's buy 6 get 6 free. You get a dozen wings for $10 which is pretty good. Th wings are huge and there good flavours to choose from. It does get packed with students. Good wings and food prices. read more

Our nachos came flying across the table and into my friend's lap. Repalcement nachos were cold with room temperature cheese. Awful food! I can't get rid of the nauseating smell of rancid pub grease in my nostrils. The grease used to make the fries was probably last changed when Chretien was in power. Our server never came to see if we needed anything or to see if everything was OK. Mediocre food. You'll be better off having a sub at Subways and going to Cunningham's for a beer. read more
