Alicia was very helpful the multiple times we met with her and talked us through all of our lighting options. She didn't make us feel rushed and she was always willing to answer questions as they came up. Alicia and the whole team at Saltbox were great to work with throughout the building process and I would highly recommend them for any of your lighting needs.

Very disappointed with their customer service or more accurate, no service! Their hours are not…read morevery customer friendly. Not being open on the weekends and only open until 8pm on Mondays, gives a limited window for most people to shop their store. However, wanting to shop a local store as we are remodeling our master bath and upgrading the lighting throughout the rest of our home we stopped on a Monday. Upon arrival, both sales associates were assisting other clients, so we walked the store looking at their lighting options. While passing both associates a few times, neither acknowledged us. We waited about twenty five minutes when one of the customers left. Expecting to be greeted, the sales person turned and went into the back room. We waited another 15 minutes, as this was the only day we could stop, and finally left. We do not expect to be fawned over, but as part of common courtesy, we certainly do expect to be addressed when the opportunity arose. There are a lot easier ways for people to shop for lighting. They make it too hard and we will never go back.

As an electrician, I've been practicing this trade this time around since 2014, following a career redirect in 98 wherein I dropped blue collar electrician work I did 1983-1996, to do CAD work for electrical engineering and similar. This was often solid modeling GIS and GPS mapping. At any rate, I just found another electrical contractor who was both welcoming and open to share knowledge and not expect compensation for his 10min consult. In short, when I find individuals who are courteous and wanting to help I like to make sure they get the best foot forward. I looked at examples of their work online and it's precisely as I hoped to find. Top shelf.
