I was trying to re describe the specifics of my circumstance. It was seemingly an apples and oranges thing, but really it was a tangerine vs oranges and I was trying to grasp the subtle difference. But at this juncture the owner (seemed to be) stated he wasn't making anything from this interaction. True. It was opened as being "I'm asking for a bit of information" I also would be requiring a 1000' of wire to accomplish this, so the answer to my question was needed to be fully certain buying wire was absolute. I responded, "Hell, I'll give you $20 $30 because I get it. (I'd actually be willing to have doubled that if I could have made it they the conversation.) But I made a (in hindsight) wrong choice when I blurted "a minute ago you were playing with your dog, as I walked inside." (It should be noted, the front door to his business was locked. It's 2:08pm Wednesday June 8th. Why's the door locked? Chicken needed choking?) Ok get out. This conversation is over! A man who is so set on his self importance that he takes a very insignificant remark to the point of not having willingness to assist someone is not someone I can promote. In my business my primary objective to twofold. To resolve a problem a client might have, and to charge a fee that is commensurate to the work. I so often give advise or information that it might be detrimental to becoming wealthy. Absolutely. But I'm a fixer and repeat business is important. This man is someone you may hire. Just don't disagree with him or I suspect you'll receive a bill regardless of the jobs completion.
