From the initial walk through to the final touch ups, this company did an outstanding job. Let me give you a quick overview of how easy it was to work with these contractors. First, the initial sales person, Michael, was incredibly knowledgeable and able to see the vision we had for the first floor. He took a good number of photos and then met with other project managers at their office. From here, we met with an amazing designer, Halley. She answered every question I had and promised me she would guide me along the way. I had some ideas, and everything I forgot, she gently guided to a solution. I was able to pick everything from the exact sink and faucet, to backsplash and flooring. The amazing communication continued throughout the project using an app called buildertrend. We knew when the contractors were arriving for each step of the process. We were also able to ask questions through the app and received quick responses. I did have a couple of change orders, and even those were handled seamlessly. My project has been done now for about three months, and every day I love seeing the finished project.

He also looked at the water softener and said he didn't know anything about them. Both of these requests were sent to Peterson's before someone was sent out. However, if you want a professional, that knows what they are doing, to get it right and not tell you "I don't know anything about these." Well... consider that before calling. Or just request a professional also with your inquiry. This will save you time, money and frustration. They probably have a professional there. We just didn't get that person. This would be fine if we were informed immediately that the company would be sending someone with no knowledge of our requests. That way, we would have went somewhere else straight away. Warren Wilde took care of the water softener, he even told us what exactly was wrong just from our description over the phone. They were difficult to get a hold of from the get go. We finally got someone out here to install a…read morebidet and see what was wrong with our water softener. He was VERY young looking. He looked at our water softener and said, "I don't know anything about these...." I showed him a pin that supposed to be attached to the softener and he said "Yeah I don't know why there'd be a pin in it." So we are paying for a plumber to come out and NOT know about water softeners? So he installed the bidet but it took him just shy of TWO hours. When he finished he said it was leaking (maybe not his fault)- but two hours for a bidet? I installed it myself at our other house in 15 minutes. The only reason we had a plumber do it was because we needed a different T-valve and he didn't get a different T-valve- he just rigged the one we had to make it work (might be why its leaking????). We do need to get a new water softener but will be using someone else to install it as they did not leave us with much confidence in their abilities.

First he ordered the wrong size window. Then it took months to get the next one. Finally the window arrives in fall. He removed our old window and then tried to install the new one --- THAT HE DAMAGED WHILE UNPACKING IT THE WEEK BEFORE. He did not tell us he broke the frame -- was just going to let it go as is. He refuses to make this right. Went to court and agreed to mediation -- am still waiting for him to return the last $900 of our money. He now refuses to return calls to address the balance due. DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR !

I live at Richmond Terrace and had a furnace/air conditioner replaced by Bob's Heating. This was a…read more$7000-$8000 installation. Afterwards, I had concerns about how to properly clean the grate, as there was no accessible panel. A representative from Bob's confirmed that the grates are not removable and advised using a product called Nu-Calgon Evap Foam No Rinse to clean the condensing coil. Earlier this year, Matthew's Heating & Cooling inspected and cleaned my furnace. They determined that the condensate drain had not been installed in a workmanlike manner and strongly advised against using the cleaning product mentioned above (see attached report). To date, we have identified at least two furnaces that experienced this same issue. I scheduled a meeting with the condo board president and a representative from Bob's Heating. No one from Bob's showed up for the meeting. I would urge any resident living at Richmond Terrace to use another vendor when replacing their furnace.
