My son on Feb. 6th 2026 at about 4:30am needed a tow as he ended up on the side of an on ramp (I do…read morenot say a ditch because it was not one). But he was about 10-15 feet from the side of the road. Called AAA and was set up with a tow truck company coming to his rescue (or so I thought). FLT took the response and well from there it was awful. First, took over an hour to get to him. Then once the driver got there he saw my sons ford fiesta (not much bigger than a matchbox car) and told him that he needed to use a "special equipment?" to get him out and that he needed to pay $642.01 before he could assist. I immediately called AAA and had someone on the phone along with my son and AAA received the update directly from my son. They advised at that time they couldn't do anything but that he could submit the bill back to AAA and they would "consider" if they would reimburse him. I needed my son out and safe, so I told him to pay it because we didn't know any better. My son took pictures of where he was and how the driver did not need to do anything special. FLT took advantage of my son and his need for assistance. And had I known better, I would have told him to tell the driver "no thank you" and just called another company to assist. But since we belong to AAA I figured we needed to do what was being instructed. Thank god AAA was on the phone when all this was happening. My son sent all the documentation to them and they refunded him fully! We have learned a big lesson!! I hope to never need this tow company again. Beware, they like to overcharge (probably because they saw a young kid and figured they could get away with it). So happy that AAA agreed!!

We were told the car was ready. We drove 2 hours to get the car to wait 8 hours for us to tell them something else was wrong. They did not test drive the car after the initial repair so was not aware that the turbo was not working. We waited another 2 weeks or so for them to fix this problem. As we were driving home the same issue was happening to the car. We were told to drive it home and it would work itself out. A week later we brought the car to the dealer for $180 for them to tell us it was the turbo. We drove the car back up to Maurice & sons to get a replacement. 5 WEEKS LATER and many text messages back and forth the car is done. We get it home and they damaged the front hood! This has been the worst experience in communication and overall satisfaction. I can't believe this. Don't try calling with complaints because they hang up on you. You must go in-person to get anything done.

They do NOT give me the little woman treatment and are some great blue collar wisconsin guys who recognize I am on a budget. They have loaner vehicles that are complimentary, and you can have them call you before they do anything. The best part of this is that when they call they will patiently explain the whole problem to me. They spit out jargon, but then explain what that really means. more than once I have told them I don't understand a certain part they just described and they are more than happy to explain a new way. The best part about sending your car to them is that they make a list of all the problems, then give you advice and timetables. For example, I needed new struts and other work. They let me know what was then critical, what needed to happen within the next few weeks ( they specifically pointed out it could wait until the next paycheck for me... helpful!),and that I needed to save my pennies because in 6-8 months the struts HAD to be replaced. Since struts are over a grand, it's really great getting the heads up so early! I cannot speak highly enough of these guys. I always deal with Mattie and Dale, and both are so sweet. Expect Wisconsin nice from them. Everytime they call they first ask how you're doing. Mattie always asks about my life, and I always update him. These guys rock!
