There is a .90$ upgrade to a Mac instead of chips. I pointed at the sign and said I wanted to upgrade my chips to a Mac she said ok and then said my total was 18.27. It should have been like 12$. I said it shouldn't be that much and she went over the order again. I was like ok what ever. I didn't get my chips that I upgraded for and she just added a 5.29$ small Mac I asked her why she charged for that and she just goes " ohhh I'm sorry " and proceeds to do nothing about the 5$ she just stole. read more

We went to Schlotzsky's after a day at the pool. We saw the sign on the drive thru menu that said "$5 pizzas after 5 on Fridays and Saturdays". We ordered 3 because what a deal! (Along with 1 meal). However, when we were given our total, it was over $50! We got to the window and asked why the pizzas weren't $5 and the answer we got was, "oh, we don't do that promotion. We need to take that down, we just haven't." There was no, apology for not honoring what was advertised, nothing. Naturally, we were upset but paid the astronomical bill anyway. It would have been nice if the worker offered to honor the promotion since it was still posted. Had we known the bill would have been over $50 for a DRIVE THRU restaurant, we definitely would have chosen to eat elsewhere. Very unhappy with this experience. read more

The food here is good. The service is friendly. The restaurant is clean and maintained. My only issue is the slow drive-thru time. I was acknowledged immediately and that's good, but I was told give me a minute. 5 minutes later 4 vehicles behind me they took my order. There were 2 cars in the lot, and 1 truck in the drive-thru line. I'd have gotten food faster at What-a-Burger. Unfortunately, it's not the first time. I've had a nearly identical experience on now 3 occasions. I enjoy their food when we go, but the time it takes to get through the lines is a little ridiculous. Walked in and every table was dirty. Ordered food, employee was kind. They gave us the wrong food. I had a back and forth discussion of how they gave me the wrong food and finally a manager came by and verified I knew what I was talking about. I haven't had food from here since I was a kid and even then I only remembered ever eating the pizza. Ironically it was the best part if the meal. Ordered 2 sandwiche, 2 chips & 2 drinks via the app from the Lufkin, TX store. When we arrived to pick it up, received 2 sandwiches. Server was very rude & said that was all we ordered. They certainly had no problem charging us for everything! $24 for two sandwiches that weren't even made correctly - there was no avacado on turkey avacado & no onions on French dip. I love Schlotzsky's usually but my first APP experience wasn't great. I submitted the order at 12:23 and chose a time for the order to be ready for pick up 12:45. I arrived 12:42 and it was busy. I walked in and asked for the order placed on the app and gave my name. The young man had to ask a manager to pull the order up. I waited a bit and it was finally ready at 12:58. I like Schlotzsky's, but this one is really no different than any other since it's a big chain, ya know? If you've been to Schlotzsky's in Ohio, you've seen more or less the same one in Albuquerque, or in Lufkin for that matter. This one has a drive-thru, for convenience, if that's of any use to you. I ate here almost everyday for just over a month. I have tried a lot of different sandwiches, a few of their soups and salads, their pizzas, and flat breads. Not once was I ever unsatisfied. Their food is very good and consistent. Their customer service is always spectacular. The girls up front are so sweet. I have met the owner a few times and he is extremely nice. But there salad weirdly tasted like old socks today I swear plus I asked for Xtra ranch n have u seen the size of there salad they only gave me three. Not enough to even cover a quarter of it. Worst service in Lufkin Texas did not have what we ordered waited 15 minutes to get told they were out then didn't want to give us a different sandwich . Ordered a different sandwich and 20 min still no sandwich apparently the 5 employees had to get there food first, must be a store meeting 3 tables of customers all waiting but not the employees . I also reviewed the Schlotzsky's in Nacogdoches and stated this in that review, this one blows the Nac one out of the water. The Lufkin store is OUTSTANDING, everything about it was clean and maintained, the staff were very friendly and they definitely are better at following the way Schlotzsky's likely outlines on how to make the sandwiches much better than Nac can seem to. Thankfully I work right across the parking lot at Old Navy so at least I have access to it and don't have to go to the one in Nac! read more
