I love the food (a long time customer) - the service here was ridiculous. The lady kept trying to rush us in ordering, then, when we asked if we could get some oil and vinegar she said "we're out"- while we could actually see the bottle and had a major attitude. So, my husband decided to get it himself and had to ask numerous times to get containers. I've never experienced laziness or incompetence to this extreme. This location is horrible, it's old and very hard to get to from the free way if you don't know the back streets. The bathroom s have been out of order for quite some time, so if a customer or employee has to use the bathroom you have to walk over to Ihop and use theirs, wtf? They are never busy, and I can honestly say why, the sandwich s are expensive and always made wrong, the management here is unbelievably horrible specifically Jackie and her crew. I love Schlotzsky's but this location sucks. I should've known from the location. The cashier didn't know ehat came on the sandwich so i could order it without a certain ingredient. He jus asked, "What?" about the aoili listed in the ingredients. My original had no olives....these are like a signature of Schlotzsky's. If I could give 0 stars I would. In the drive thru, could NOT understand or hear the employee over the speaker about the kind of dressing I wanted on my salad. He finally just said, just come to window. He practically threw my salad at me without even again asking about the dressing. I had to remind him. He then crammed the 3 dressing containers in my hand. I asked for a drink when I drive up, (I never got the chance in the drive thru). He signed and proceeded to get the dressing, but never asked what kind of drink. I finally gave up. Parked to check order for napkins only to discover no napkins OR utensils. Had to go inside for those and help myself behind counter because several employees looked at me, and never acknowledged. The salad was only ok. The chicken was sort of a mystery meat more than grilled chicken. It was strangely like chicken skin. Yuck. I threw most of it away. I should have gone to QT across the street. Manager used the word "fuck" three times in front of my five year old. When I told her I wanted her name so I could contact their corporate office she informed me that "we a franchise" and slammed the window. On top of that my $13 sandwich was refused a refund even though I said no mayo 3 times (until the order taker repeated it, so I wouldn't have my third messed up sandwich at this location). I would love to leave the managers name but I still haven't gotten one. Take the time to go down 121 N and hit the location there. WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. I'd give no stars if I could. The girl at the front counter actually asked my friend if she was done ordering because "ya know, the guy behind you wants to order". Then they don't have the ingredients listed on the menu. I should've asked but I wasn't expecting lettuce, tomato and onion to come on a ham and cheese honestly. When I told the girl I was allergic to tomatoes as she tried to hand me my sandwich, she turned around to take it back so I followed her. Why did I follow her? Because exactly what I knew was going to happen, happened. She handed the sandwich to the guy on the line and told him I was allergic to the tomatoes and he simply took the tomatoes off, tossed them and tried to hand the sandwich back. When I explained that I couldn't eat it and would need a new sandwich, he said "you'll have to wait until all the orders are made now because you didn't say no tomatoes". When I tried to speak to the manager, he walked away from me. When I finally got my new sandwich, the girl then said, "my mom hates onions so much that she throws up if she eats them. Is that what happens to you with tomatoes?". I let her know that "no, I'll go into anaphylactic shock and die". She simply walked away. The guy on the line was the worst of them all. Rude, nasty and miserable. And the manager. Great customer service. I'll give the counter girl a break. She was 16 and this is her first job.
