There is a hot tub; bring a suit. You can indicate what time you'd like breakfast and the food is well prepared and delicious with excellent quantity and variety. Tea, juice, milk and good coffee are on offer. There is a cozy sitting area where adult beverages as well as bottled water, tea and coffee are available with board games and a fireplace. This is near skiing, and you could enjoy beautiful Somerset fall foliage. I'm told it is rarely humid in the area. It is also close close to the memorial for flight 93. We were in town with family for a funeral and this was a very comforting place to gather and spend time with family and friends. The owners and staff are considerate and kind. They took marvelous good care of us.

They are wonderful! They do anything they can to make their guests feel like they belong. If you are looking for great repartee or to enjoy a quiet evening alone, either way, they will happily oblige. Then there is the food! Everything is made from scratch...including the yogurt! Finally, there is the house itself. Enjoy mechanical music? Boy have they got it! There are at least four grand reproducing pianos, a pianola, a full player organ, numerous rare music boxes, and victrolas and radios of every sort. Then there is the collection of rare clocks...to many to count. During the summer, you will probably receive a tour of the spectacular antique car collection which includes two Franklin Automobiles and an American LaFrance roadster, to name a few. By the way, each suite is clean and well appointed and boasts a unique theme! Go, enjoy, have fun!!!

The garden area was so peaceful and beautiful and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to come back and stay again. As for the claims it is haunted, after our 1 night stay I absolutely believe it!

So we had lunch. My husband had the roasted turkey dinner and I had the hot turkey sandwich on Texas Toast. Weirdly, they both came out with shredded turkey, as if it came out of a bag already shredded. I can kind of see using that on a sandwich, but to pile shredded turkey on a platter instead of a nice slice of breast meat was a little off putting. They were average. The service was mostly good, although I had to ask another waitress get our check because ours was MIA. When we did get the check I noticed the prices charged for the entrees were higher than listed on the menu. I understand the need to charge more, but be transparent about it. They did state a fee for credit card vs cash on the bill. The decor was odd. A mix of country and old world and the vinyl tablecloths were really ugly but I guess practical to wipe clean.

We arrived late (9pm) so we didn't have a personnel welcome but did have a nice note with keys which was all we needed. The room was clean and ready. It was such a relaxing king sized bed that set the mood for a nice evening away from cell phones or TV. The breakfast was excellent and the chef was attenive for a small preparation request. The attached bathroom was very nice and clean. The grounds around the castle were fun to explore but we just wish that things would have been in bloom as it was march and spring hadn't arrived yet. The small noticed inconvenience was adjusting the shower water temp some adjustments were required. Fair value especially considering the minimal options other than hotels.... Would stay again.

The archways, hard wood floors and time appropriate fixtures add to the feeing of being in another time and another place. The rooms are spacious, the vaulted ceilings are amazing with trim and design. Each room has its own unique charm. The breakfasts were amazing. Day one was red velvet pancakes, eggs and bacon. Day two was a bacon quiche and a veggie quiche. Will definitely be back again.

My two sisters and I (and our significant others) came to celebrate a milestone birthday and were beyond impressed with this place. The ambiance is fantastic! The courtyard is beautiful as well as the patio in the back. The decorating that Kitty has done throughout the inside of the house is really beautiful. And as David says, "We want to concentrate on two things: The bed, and the breakfast." And that is exactly what they have done here. Each evening, David will come to offer your breakfast choices for the following morning. And it's not just bacon and eggs people... these are GOURMET offerings all made fresh on site using fresh ingredients. We had a choice of a peach cobbler oatmeal that had peaches from the tree in the backyard even and it was delicious! There was also one addition that just made my stay even more superb... a little dog named "Jack" and he is the most precious (smiling) doggie that I have ever seen! So stinkin' CUTE! Anyway... if you are ever in the area (checking out Frank Lloyd Wright's work) you should definitely give this place a shot. They are phenomenal! Thank you David and Kitty!
