My sister said her bed was the most comfortable bed she's ever slept in, though bed preference will always be subjective. The breakfasts they offer are delicious. The owners were super friendly and welcoming. There's also a hot tub available! Don't be like me and not come prepared with a swimsuit. There is a hot tub; bring a suit. You can indicate what time you'd like breakfast and the food is well prepared and delicious with excellent quantity and variety. Tea, juice, milk and good coffee are on offer. There is a cozy sitting area where adult beverages as well as bottled water, tea and coffee are available with board games and a fireplace. This is near skiing, and you could enjoy beautiful Somerset fall foliage. I'm told it is rarely humid in the area. It is also close close to the memorial for flight 93. We were in town with family for a funeral and this was a very comforting place to gather and spend time with family and friends. The owners and staff are considerate and kind. They took marvelous good care of us.

My two sisters and I (and our significant others) came to celebrate a milestone birthday and were beyond impressed with this place. The ambiance is fantastic! The courtyard is beautiful as well as the patio in the back. The decorating that Kitty has done throughout the inside of the house is really beautiful. And as David says, "We want to concentrate on two things: The bed, and the breakfast." And that is exactly what they have done here. Each evening, David will come to offer your breakfast choices for the following morning. And it's not just bacon and eggs people... these are GOURMET offerings all made fresh on site using fresh ingredients. We had a choice of a peach cobbler oatmeal that had peaches from the tree in the backyard even and it was delicious! There was also one addition that just made my stay even more superb... a little dog named "Jack" and he is the most precious (smiling) doggie that I have ever seen! So stinkin' CUTE! The only issue I had was and, this is me. I can't sleep with a fan going loudly I have PTSD and it kinda keeps me hyper anxious. My wife on the other hand love sleeping with the fan so she would think it was great and I'm sure some people would. that's you know for some people. That way the only issue I had and it's definitely not their fault. I understand that's how they call the rooms down I get it. It's an older building, but that was the only thing that was kind of difficult for me. Other than that I would stay there again just not in the hot weather once.

They changed the full amount for the room at the time of the reservation and said check in instructions would come by email. I never got the email. On the day I was to check in I arrived at the property and rang the doorbell. When nobody answered I called the number posted next to the doorbell. Every time I called the line just went dead without ringing. My wife and I tried 10 times from the property over an hour with the same dead line result. Now I've been on hold with the booking company they use for over an hour trying to get a refund due to breach of contract, but they can't contact the property owners either. The Wills Hotel is new, has secure bike storage, an excellent restaurant and wonderful service. Go there instead!

From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that Mo has thought of absolutely everything. Our room was beautifully appointed, warm and comfortable, with an incredibly comfy bed and wonderful linens - which were VERY much appreciated after a full day of riding the GAP! Every little detail was there: a fan, a noise machine, charging cables, and all those thoughtful touches you don't realize you need until you need them. The entire house is absolutely beautiful. It's so tastefully decorated while still feeling warm, welcoming and homey. You can tell how much thought and care has gone into creating a place where guests can truly relax. And then there was breakfast! Absolutely amazing. Mo is such a warm and friendly host and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The GAP biking community and the town of Meyersdale are incredibly lucky to have the Inn on Main - and we feel just as lucky that we were able to get a reservation. It is cute, cozy, immaculate, comfortable room and bed, porch to cherish, close to the trail and has a great breakfast. Now, the best part. we met owners Chuck and Denise for the first time. So pleasant and helpful as can be. Our group had an injured rider stay for two days even while others rode. Seriously, between the owners and an angel employee named Loretta (?) they cared for him like he was family. We would/will not stay anywhere but Yoder House given the chance to ride GAP again.

The cheerful lobby houses the breakfast area and adjacent are the "business center" (which is a computer in the hall) along with the pool and the nicely sized gym. The room we stayed in was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The best part was that it was quiet! We did have an end room and the hotel wasn't full but when you live in NYC and are used to horns, sirens, jackhammers, a lot of things seem amazingly quiet. But this was really quiet. I slept like a baby. The breakfast is your standard Hampton Inn fare. The waffle maker here makes four mini waffles but I liked that because it was easy to share with my better half. The hotel is close to a Rite Aid (soon to become a Walgreens based on the signs in the window) and just a quick drive to the charming downtown of Frostburg. This is a nice Hampton Inn. If you need a place to stay in Frostburg, I recommend this place.
