My car isn't even done yet, and already I'm writing this review. I'm sure the work will go just fine - it's a relatively minor body repair. I can thank Harry, Rob, and Nonya (sp? REALLy sorry if I got that wrong) for being super nice last night and this morning. I called the afternoon before, spent maybe a total of 10 minutes going over some details with them, and they took my car in immediately. This after getting frustrated with a different shop in town that was booking out five weeks. Five weeks! Instead, I should have my car back in about one week. Let's see if they make it happen. They called me an Uber to get home, and offer an Uber to come back and pick up my car! That's good service. read more

3 week ago, my girlfriend backed into my car. I brought my car to Schaller because they price match Honda Parts for insurer specified after market parts. When I went to pick up my 2015 Honda Fit, the brand new Honda bumper cover they instelled and painted, etc, was obviously misaligned and stuck out way past the front fender on the drivers side. I had to leave car another day for them to "remove cover and move mounting clips". Not sure why I had to tell them it was mis-aligned and they could not see it until I pointed it out. When i showed them, they readily agreed. Last week we brought girlfriend's Acura into their body shop. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. My mistake. It took three separate trips to pick it up, after they assured us it was 100% ready to go each time. First Dust in the clear cost left bumps that they neglected to polish out. Second pickup they had polished out the "nibs" but there was an obvious drip in the paint that I too missed the first trip. Third and final trip we say obvious damage to the new cover they had just installed. There was a noticeable gouge in the cover. They said it must have happened when they had to disassemble it to wet sand out the drips. On top of that, whole side of car was covered with the spray of the buffer and compound mix. If I could post pictures here I would. Terrible, terrible quality control. Numerous trips back and forth to pick up cars. Wasted hours of our time. Not only have they lost us as body shop customers, but we could never in good conscience buy a new car from them as we have no faith in their service departments. read more

I had purchased my vehicle from schaller Subaru and Ive always had great service there. so this is specifically about their body shop. got into an accident mid Feb with back end damage. we're almost in June, and car still isn't completely fixed. they had my car for a month and a half (which I paid $1500 during that time for a car rental) when i got my vehicle back the bumper didn't fit correctly and my blind spot indicator didn't work still. turns out they used an after market cheaper bumper that isn't compatible with my blind spot even though my insurance company paid them for an original bumper. and my tail light and license plate light was still out. so I brought it back (this time they gave me a loaner so at least no rental but still inconvenient having to bring it back) get it back and blind spot is only working on one side. and tail light and license plate light still out. so I bring it back. finally fix the blind spot indicator but my tail light and license plate light is still out. and there's a new small scratch on my car and some paint chipped. i decided to not bring my vehicle back there for the tail light or license plate light and just pay out of pocket because this has gotten so incredibly ridiculous i want nothing to do with their body shop ever again. I never write reviews but felt it necessary to warn future consumers.. Do NOT go there. the only positive I can say is the lady at the front desk was amazing, very kind and patient. read more

I cannot give them a high enough rating for Customer Service. My car was in an accident over a year ago (lots of front end damage). When I got it back, it looked brand new. Honestly, I should have given them a review then. Fast forward 15 months later and I call them about an issue that I noticed should have been fixed after the accident - my windshield washer fluid reservoir was leaking. Schaller immediately ordered the part and had me bring in my car the next day to fix the issue free of charge!!!! After replacing the parts, they realized it was a different issue, something that wouldn't have been impacted by the accident and still fixed my car! I never expected that type of customer service. Thank you Schaller. You have made a customer for life. read more

Can I give zero stars? My car has been sitting here for nearly a month. Yes, my insurance delayed the process greatly but I was told before the holiday weekend it would be ready. Here comes Tuesday, still no car & I was told it is in assembly. Wednesday rolls around, I call, still no car it is getting buffed & detailed. But tomorrow it will "for sure" be ready. It's Thursday, I call that afternoon, "it's being detailed", they'll call when it's ready. They close at 5pm. I show up an hour before close asking for my car, I need it by today. Saw conversations/phone calls scrambling to get my car ready. I see my car go INTO the building to be detailed, comes out and is getting vacuumed. Just left the place and my passenger floor is a mess of trash & things thrown about, cup holder has trash, overall sheisty ass job. I'm convinced if I hadn't shown up today my car "wouldn't be ready until tomorrow". Didn't feel like a priority to them at all, and my car was cleaner when I brought it in. Well, ya lost a new client and put a big shit stain on your business! Congrats! read more

My boyfriend brought his truck in which had been backed into. They told him it would take a while to start the services as they had to order parts. He asked them if they could not start any work on it until the parts come in because he uses it as a work truck. He goes there to pick it up, and the grill and bumper have been taken off and his truck is practically in pieces. The mechanics are nothing but rude when he questioned what happened. read more

I was involved in an accident midway to my destination and my car was not drivable. Through GEICO AutoRepair XPress, I found Schaller Auto Body. Not being familiar with the area, I relied on reviews and wanted to be sure to post my own and gush about the quality of the repair work, their customer service, and their help through the entire process. First, they went out of their way to try to help me navigate the process with GEICO, and were proactive about getting my car off the tow lot - even more so than GEICO! They were very open and transparent about the repairs process, calling me to review my estimate and communicating clearly and promptly throughout the process. My car was completed on the scheduled release date, and the quality of the work was superb. Most of the front of my KIA Soul was replaced (including hood, grille, and bumper) and both looking at and driving my car, you would never guess it had been in an accident. The color matching was superb, and their inspection process was extremely thorough, ensuring that every detail of my car was repaired. My car was in an accident 8 weeks ago. I realize that getting parts is difficult these days. So we waited. I picked my car up 2 days ago as it was said have gone through "inspection" and was ready for pick up. Side note, it took close to 3 days to go through "inspection. Told it would be ready on a Friday, nope. Called Saturday, nope. Called Monday, nope. Tuesday it was finally ready. We pick it after hours because we work and couldn't be there for 5. Now here it is Friday and as I'm spraying the car down to get some pollen off I notice a piece missing from the front bumper. Just a small cover that clicks into place where a fog light would go I believe. Of course I'm mad! Come on! I waited 8 weeks for my car and this happens. Let's be real. So I called pretty pissed off but began to explain what my situation was. The man who answered the phone gave no f*cks. All he kept saying was bring it down and have the appraiser look at it. When I would try and speak he just would loudly talk over me. In turn making me more angry. How about ma'am I'm sorry that happened. Or we will do our best to fix it. Or anything with a bit of professionalism would have sufficed. But again this man gave absolutely no fuc*s. So I hung up on him. I work in customer service and I know how difficult it can be to deal with an angry customer. This man clearly is not cut out for this job. He literally said " look I just answer the phone". Our car was damaged in a parking lot by an unknown druver. We took our car here because they participate in Geico Express. The service was excellent. We took the car in on Monday morning and got it back on Wednesday afternoon. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful and they kept us up to date with text messages. I took my 2012 Ford Escape there after I was rear-ended by a distracted driver. Having someone from Enterprise meet me there was a big help as was Geico being there as well. My car was ready in a week and they even washed it and cleaned the interior. I will definitely use them again if the need arises. read more

Save yourself some time and money go somewhere else for body repair. I was told my car will be ready in 3 days. It has been well over a week now and it is still not ready. I have received zero communication from anyone at Schaller Auto Body. I have to call each day just to be told it is going to be delayed again and they can't even provide a reason. read more

Great service from this team. They offer a shuttle during the week to get you to and from the body shop, and though it wasn't their policy, the manager gave the keys of his own car to let one of the employees drive me home. The whole time the car was being worked on I received updates via text, and the car was done earlier than anticipated. My car went in for auto body work after an accident. Came out mediocre on the outside but it's a mess. It makes all these weird sounds now and of course no one can explain it. The auto body guy said it's a mechanical issue. Of course I was never notified of this issue and had no issues before the accident. Geico-is horrible and once I get this issue resolved I'll be dropping the insurance company. As far as Schaller thanks for making the car look okay, but not fixing the real issues. I don't know how a car can be fine before an accident and then leave Schaller Auto Body with a bunch of weird sounds and service lights on. I will NEVER use their service again. No thanks read more

These guys tried to sell me a car that was in an accident and had obvious body work as a like new car with a clean carfax! unbelievable! 2 weeks ago i saw a 2015 challenger or their website for 27,500 and i wanted it. i spoke with them for days and then took a 2hr drive out there from jersey to buy it.. the carfax said this car was clean but as soon as i walked up to it, it could see the seams at the bumper and hood where crooked. upon further inspection i found bondo still under both fenders, and the bumper hood and both fenders were repainted. They even painted over chipping paint under the fenders. The salesman was like " they probably just repainted the botoms to cover road grime!" i could see the overspray and gradient change up close. it was so obvious that this car was in an accident and they tried to cover it up. they almost stole 30,000 dollars from me like it was nothing. the salesman said he never got a chance to see the car before they brought it over...basically a bunch of bullshit. not even the manager came out and apologized. I have contacted carfax to have the carfax updated on this car before someone else gets duped. I dont trust these guys any more.. read more
