As you can see before and after side by side pictures i walked in as 0 melted hair just some splitends and walked out with not just melted but fried hair she have not apologized or suggested treatment plans when i was in the shop pluse she have not tell me that the hair was extreanly melted till i asked her. when i asked she have told me some has melted so i didnt think big of it but once the process was finished she didnt even asked me if i liked the comeout or if i wanted to look at the back of my hair now she took before photo but not after does this tell yall something ?!!?? ( when we have a consultation about the hair process she have recommded me to add ola plex and suggest me to have couple session to acive the color i wanted so i can prevent any melting and fried hair. She have said that there will be some damages but its not going to melt nor fried my hair so i greed about having little bit of damage. (which is expected when getting a color or bleah),but the result was not even the full balayage not the color,style i wanted it was totally fried and since my hair was extremely melted i have left with so much less hair. Now when i book full service was for $155 when consting she have told me 200~~230 becuse of the fullness of my hair and ended up paying 230 with 3tip so 260~ this was friday i spend 260 and from that afternoon to till now ive spend more to fix this fried hair. Ah and yeah she have given me a partial refund $100 after i had a long talk over the weekend, yes she apologized to me after she told me that its not her fault that how my hair has cameout fried..(before she has said this i was trying to be nice and try understand her side because i know she worked hard on my hair regarless of outcome) Another thing ive given her one card to pay and she have told me they do not take that particular card after running it,so i ened up paying with the different card but both card was charged!!so soon as i notice i have messaged her she still have not replied me back yeah she may be busy but the experience i had with this hairdresser wasnt all that pleasant. All the people in the world has different hair texture color fullness and fragileness and yes she probably tried her best to have my hair look great but the outcome wasn't and i honstly dont think that her respond to all this wasnt professional in my personl opinion. Im not giving 1star towards the xoxochopshop nor the other hairdressers in this shop so do not hesitate to consult with other dressers or even her if shes your pick. Im leaving a review from my personal experience with this particular hairdresser from this salon. Hopfully this could be hepful to her and whoever is considering to have there hair done. Note: i wasn't going to leave review at all but my mind chaged over having a conversation with her theough message.

Initially, she apologized and offered to try again at no cost. However, upon my return, she had only made the issue worse, damaging my hair, leaving me to find a new stylist to help fix it, who states it is not safe to do anything to my hair for at least a month or 2 while using very expensive products to help gain the strength in my hair back. I have attached photographs that illustrate each outcome. Paige had given me only 38% back of the cost of the appointment, but had demonstrated a lack of concern/sympathy for addressing the situation or referring me to someone to could help for the traumatic experience she has inflicted upon me with my hair. So now I am just left with this final product of the severe orange and no blending for months to come... (To provide context, I am also 32 weeks pregnant, and my confidence is significantly diminished due to the changes in my body. I sought to regain my sense of beauty again through a hair appointment.) I clearly explained what I was looking for and showed a video reference of someone with very similar hair color whose result was the goal--nothing extreme, just somewhere in that realm. I said that is where I want to lean into. I was also upfront that the only color on my hair was a demi-permanent service done over four months prior. As soon as my hair was blow-dried after shampooing, I could tell the result was not right. Even without my glasses, it was obvious. The final result was not a balayage at all, but a full head of very chunky VERY uneven yellow-to-orange highlights that look more like early-2000s foils than a modern, blended balayage. No toner was used. I was told a gloss was preferred instead, but the color clearly needed toning at minimum. The warmth was not controlled, and the highlights are extremely brassy and uneven. Mia was kind and pleasant, but the skills listed do not match the outcome I experienced. I left feeling upset and sick over the amount of money I paid, knowing immediately that this will require an expensive correction elsewhere. When I got home and really saw my hair in proper lighting, I cried. I know that I would never ask for a correction from the same stylist if this is how I left the salon. Never gonna happen. I've had this exact service done before--successfully--including at this same salon by another stylist, and on hair that also had a prior demi. This result was entirely avoidable. I'm genuinely sad to leave a negative review, but I don't want anyone else to go through the stress, expense, and emotional impact of having their hair turn out this way.

I have fine hair and in the past it has been difficult to find someone who will listen to how I would like my hair done without the person telling me how I should have my hair done. Laurie listened to me and performed her magic. She also mentioned using a spray in conditioner versus a heavy conditioner applied in the shower. Oddly enough I had just run out of conditioner the day before so had only shampooed my hair and it seemed to have a lot more volume! I loved my haircut and the pricing was fair as well. Jessie was amazing and great company. She trimmed my hair without chopping it all off (which somehow manages to happen??) and colored it nicely. It was a great experience and I even brought my 4 month old. The prices were pretty standard compared to other salons I have been to. I will be returning!
