Normally I would just grow them out and reshape them again myself, however Kaitlyn's reputation of being an amazing eyebrow specialist has grown tremendously since meeting her in school. I knew she was the one who could help me and I could trust her to do what I needed with no traumas. I went to beauty school with her and she's always been known to be a wizard with waxing...specifically eyebrows even from the first service she performed on a client. Eyebrow shaping really is an art and not everyone can do it right...even after good training. She is a complete natural at it and does it in a way that is less painful than anyone else I've ever had wax me. She's incredibly thorough, friendly and professional. She even gave me some great recommendations to help me with my brow journey. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Since I've gone to school and know proper sanitation protocols I'm super conscious of infection control and cleanliness. Everything from the time I walked in to the time I walked out was spot on and on par or above state regulations. That in itself should sell you on this place as at least 80% of other places that offer waxing services aren't abiding to sanitation regulations, don't practice proper infection control protocols and/or use subpar products. When you're dealing with waxing and vulnerable skin you NEED to be knowledgeable and aware of what to look for and know you're in a clean place. I can't recommend Kaitlyn enough. I didn't even know I could have such a nice clean shape, these are seriously the best I've ever had my eyebrows without makeup. I'm in utter shock on the magic she did with the mess I gave her to work with. My grown out brows were pretty tricky to shape a good eyebrow out of.

I spoke to hair stylist Tisha she was able to fit me in her schedule. I was really great full for that. She is adorable and has a personality that matches. I was able to let her know what I was looking for and got her expert advise as well. I felt very comfortable there. My hair turned out just like I wanted. I came in with dead, orange toned, ruined hair. i've been trying to lighten it for years but every hair stylist i've been to has told me that I will never be able to lighten it how I want until all of my past colouring has completely grown out. Janny transformed my hair into a BEAUTIFUL shade of blonde, and I've never been so happy with my hair before. All of the orange is gone, and she was able to get it way lighter then I thought was possible in one appointment. I went to see Tisha to get a full red color over my burned, worn out blonde high lights, and she did an AWESOME job! She gave me all the time in the world to explain exactly what I wanted, she answered all my questions in down-to-earth language, and she made sure I agreed with the amount I'd be charged before she started working on my hair. There were no bad surprises --all joy and a Hollywood look. It's hard to find a salon you feel comfortable in, and a hairstylist you trust. The ladies at Salon Mariposa are so friendly and know how to listen to what you want. I have had my hair cut and colored by Stephanie and Jennifer for years, and have always trusted them (I'm kind of picky). I know Corey and Jo are great because I've seen their work, and have spoke to many of their clients. If you want good stylists, this is the place to go. Stephanie is the best! I've gone to Salon Mariposa for over a year and Stephanie is the best! She's done my haircuts, color, facials and waxing. My hair doesn't take as long to process as many people's and she listened to me rather than doing what SHE thought was best. She's also very good at helping me decide what kind of haircut to get. Reading her reviews got me excited, and during our consultation, she explained her enzyme-based lifting process that avoids bleach and keeps hair health intact. She took the time to deeply analyze my hair, and set aside extra time during the appointment to adjust as she went since she was undoing months of box color and old faded highlights. Micha gave me a beautiful, lived-in, blended cinnamon chocolate balayage specifically designed to grow out naturally so I wouldn't need touch-ups every few months. She also did a dry cut using unique techniques I loved. In terms of final styling, I love a full bouncy, smooth blowout with a round brush, and am particular about the technique (needs to be sectioned out fully with each section pulled with a lot of heat and tension), so I did end up restyling it at home to my own liking, but that's just me. What she created with my color and cut though was exactly what I wanted. Beyond her skill, Micha is a true creative, full of spunk and confidence with the wildest stories. If you need things done a very specific way and aren't open to a creative approach, she may not be your person. But she knows exactly what she's doing, and you just need to let her do her thing. I'm devastated--I worked so hard to grow out my length, and she ruined it in one sitting. This was truly a nightmare haircut. I would not recommend this stylist to anyone.
