Where do I even start. I had a 9:15 appointment this morning for a full grooming. I arrived right before my appointment, and the receptionist told me it was only scheduled for a nail trim and basic services. I let them know that wasn't correct. I had come in the week before to confirm, and they told me it was a full grooming at 9:15. The receptionist then said they had confirmed the appointment with me the day prior, which is not true. I never received any call or message confirming services. The only confirmation I had was when I physically walked in the week before and was told it was a full grooming. They then said they didn't have time for a full grooming and asked me to come back at 12:30. I adjusted my day, came back, and dropped my dog off. When they messaged that he was ready, I went to pick him up and he was only half groomed. His body was shaved, but his face was completely untouched. His paws weren't trimmed, his tail wasn't done, and overall he looks completely unfinished. He even has bald patches all over his body. Instead of fixing it, they asked me to come back again the next day to finish the job. That's unacceptable. The quality of work was extremely poor, and the experience overall was frustrating from start to finish. To make matters worse, they still charged me full price. I didn't receive any follow up, no apology, and no effort from management to make this right. My dog is a Goldendoodle. He is trained and does not behave badly. He is a traveler and goes everywhere with our family. So blaming him for being uncooperative is beyond me. We have never had any issues with his behavior at other groomers. This is a lack of accountability for untrained groomers. I took pictures of Oliver that morning before I went to work and have attached them for reference to show what he looked like then compared to how he looked that evening. The difference is horrific. Anyone who loves their dog will understand my frustration. I will not be returning, and I would strongly caution anyone looking for a groomer to stay away from this place. Now I'm stuck waiting months for my dog's coat to grow back, and he doesn't even look like himself. I'm so heartbroken.

After the clown cut her hair.

I have been a member for years and I'm done with this place. They used to have actual groomers and now they must be hiring clowns! I cannot verbalize how pissed off I am about what they did today. Whoever cut her hair is clearly NOT a groomer! It started with the woman at the front desk trying to drag my dog with a choke collar to the back because she was scared to pick my dog up. My dog does not bite and is certainly not intimidating. The nightmare ended with my dog shaved of ALL her hair. The people running this joke of an establishment need to be fired! I won't have my dog groomed here EVER again. They need to go out of business. Before and after photos:

Teddy comes home nice and clean they do a great job and he done in one hour great prices clean and friendly staff

Great service from the ease of online appt to the greeting at the store to the pick up. Everyone went great and the employees couldn't have been nicer.

She was groomed beautifully in my home/yard in a little over 2 hours. Ellen took care of my 65lb pup gently and with much care, allowing her to sit and lay down as needed and support in her back legs when necessary. Ellen brought everything from tub to vacuum. My dog looks beautiful, is unstressed and my home is as clean as it was before. The price was very fair too.

Paisley was recently diagnosed with a heart condition and our vet discouraged us from taking her to get groomed to avoid stress, but our baby desperately needed a groom, so when we found Ellen it was like an answered prayer! She was great with communication through the booking process as well as with letting us know when she was on her way so we knew exactly when to expect her arrival! She brought everything she needed for a full groom like Paisley would have at her previous groomer, and it made it so easy! She did a GREAT job fixing Paisley's disastrous haircut (her hair was so unevenly shaved from vet visits and our attempt at home clipping!) And most importantly, Paisley clearly REALLY liked Ellen!! We are so thrilled to have found her and already have our next grooming appointment booked! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a groomer for their fur babies!!

This is a beautiful little small business owned shop for animal lovers, and also offers grooming…read moreservices. Such a cute little shop, like gift shoppes in Sarasota. We visited this location based upon a free puppy package offered by local rescue center for our new puppy. The package was far MORE than expected and so very appreciated. --- please buy something also, just don't leave with free item, let's keep small businesses like this open ! They offer several different brands, treats, and other items for puppies and cats. Pricing was not ridiculously high and some unique offerings were greatly appreciated. We would consider them for grooming and nail clippings and pricing seemed quite fair. I would only offer that plaza (once a Kmart) needs a new anchor store to draw visitors. Young lady working was very polite and answered most questions quickly. We stumped her on one food related question ..... but overall very accommodating. She also suggested their system Keeps track of purchases, and grooming for future needs. (Value added approach)

I am absolutely horrified and heartbroken by what happened to our dog at this grooming facility…read more Our dog was severely injured during her grooming appointment when her eyelid was cut open. The injury was serious enough that she had to be put under anesthesia to have her eyelid stitched and was referred to a veterinary ophthalmologist for further treatment. We are STILL dealing with follow-up appointments and ongoing veterinary care because of this injury. As devastating as the injury itself was, the way the situation was handled made the experience even worse. No one called us immediately to tell us our dog had been injured. My daughter and I arrived to pick her up without knowing what had happened with our dog having been in pain for a minimum of 2 hours!!!!! Then, they actually CHARGED US FOR THE GROOMING SERVICE--and only afterward showed us that our dog's eyelid had been cut open. I cannot put into words how upsetting it was to walk in expecting to pick up our freshly groomed dog and instead discover that she had suffered an injury serious enough to require anesthesia, stitches, and a veterinary eye specialist. The owner ultimately agreed to pay the emergency veterinary bill, which I believe was absolutely appropriate given what happened. However, we were also told that the groomer was an independent contractor/1099 worker and the owner did not even know whether he carried any insurance. BUSINESS OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ESTABLISHMENTS!!!! We were also told that their waiver protected them from liability. I did not sign a waiver for this appointment, and regardless, pointing to a waiver after a customer's dog suffers this kind of injury was incredibly upsetting. What bothers me most is that we trusted this business with a member of our family. She could not tell us what happened to her or advocate for herself. We trusted the people caring for her to keep her safe and, if something went wrong, to immediately contact us and handle the situation appropriately. Instead, we left with an injured dog who needed emergency medical treatment and whose care is still ongoing. Seeing your dog in pain because of something that happened while she was supposed to be safely in someone else's care is absolutely sickening. I would never want another pet owner to experience what our family has gone through.
