Whether you need to wish someone 'Happy Birthday' or tell them 'Thank You', Paper Source on Pondfield Rd in Bronxville, has a lovely range of unusual, heartfelt and premium greeting cards for so many occasions. Walls on either are taken up by 'Thank You', 'Birthday' 'Religious', 'Friendship', etc card categories and center of the store has small gift items propped up on tables. Service from two young ladies was fine and felt when I asked for help, they were willing and able. Prices are a bit steep- but considering the 'wow' factor I picked up from the 2 cards I purchased, a Recipe box with the appropriate index cards to gift to my daughter and a Frida Kahlo canvas pouch I couldn't pass up, this spot is alright. I thought I liked Papyrus- but Paper Source is the perfect place to pick up a striking card or two- or 3- I think. I'm not sure how frequently their items change- but this is a nice treasure trove.

There's a soft incense scent in the air mixed with bundles of sage and palo santo. Shelves have beautiful crystals: amethyst clusters- which I got one to bring to our new home in Westchester, there's rose quartz I think, citrine and a few others. Along with spiritual candles for relaxation or just creating a peaceful vibe. You'll also find handmade jewelry, small brass bells, lots of essential oils and other unique items that make it super easy to bring a little calmness into everyday life. But what really makes Custom C. special is the owner who's kind and easy to talk to. I wanted her advice on which Quartz to buy for bringing positive energy into our new home and suggested an amethyst. Here the thing- she has $15 amethyst, 20s, 40s and up and she was never pushy for me to get a pricier piece. At $45 for my amethyst, I was ready to display it in my new home. So whether you're into spirituality or just browsing out of curiosity, she totally makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome.
