The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. We had a very long conversation and learned a lot about their history, celebrity interactions, and received good reading recommendations. Now, here's the cherry on the sundae..... this bookstore has the cutest bunnies! Their names are Acorn, Moo, and Meatball. Who ever thought of incorporating these bunnies into the business is a genius! They make great talking points, the bunnies allow customers to touch them, and place smiles on everyone who sees them. I cannot recommend this bookstore enough. You will be treated by a great staff and will leave with great memories of unique interactions.

I loved the way their set up their tables in the front. They were spot on with all the trends and dove into dark romance, book tok faves, etc. They know how to give the people what they want!! We were looking for holiday books for my son and they had a great selection. Their entertainment section is definitely on it's last leg (understandably so). The cafe here was hopping, but we didn't get a chance to check it out.

This is the largest selection (aside from corporate-owned Bauman's) of rare books I've seen that include the dust jacket- a collectors actual dream. It's the biggest breath of fresh air to find a rare book store owned by a woman, and to be treated like a human being. I normally get side-eyed from rare bookstore owners and some of the conversations I've had sound like: "May I see the Portrait of a Lady in the case?" "All of these books are at least $100.00 and up." ".....I know." "Do you have any Wilde?" "The book about the woman hiking alone? That's too new to be in our shop, Barnes & Noble would have it." "I'm talking about the 1800s poet." "Oh." I take it personally because while I look like a millennial who doesn't know what she's talking about, I treasure my rare books like they're my children. Sunday stayed AN EXTRA HOUR at her store while I looked and answered all of my questions that I had, never making me feel rushed or unwelcome. After selecting a first edition Fitzgerald, she wrapped it in bubble wrap for my travels back home and gave me an updated book with all of the rare book sellers in the country.

I could've spent hours in Blind Dog Books, smelling the infamous smell of books, feeling surrounded by history, and conversing with the owner. What a fantastic bookshop.

They line their back issues up on a shelf like a regular book shelf and some of them are slanted over. That being said, they arent always in pristine condition and are sometimes dirty. They usually make up for it by having some sort of sale on back issues or something. They dont really order too many of a specific issue either. Really nice staff. Cool owner. They always have geeky music on too.
