During the short time that we visited, I saw a walking tour explaining the history of the bookstore/area and a few people discussing the topic of the day. I enjoyed perusing old editions of Life magazine and enjoyed the plenty of seating that was available. If you're ever in Ossining, don't hesitate to stop into Hudson Valley Books. Everyone who works there is a volunteer! They give their time to sell the books etc with all proceeds going back to the library.
