It's not visible from the main street, so just drive slowly and keep your eyes alert! The Dam Store is known for its high incidence of lottery winners. There are flyers posted on the windows with cash award amounts and winners' names. Of course, I had to get at least one ticket. It was a souvenir from my quest for the Statesman Badge! Yay!!! I didn't know that there were different lottery games. The friendly cashier helped me select the game with the highest reward ($13 million). I wasn't able to check in on my Yelp app because I had no signal from AT&T. Luckily, Jean C, of Las Vegas (we just met in real life) has Verizon, and suggested that I used her phone to check in! Thank goodness she came along for the ride! She is a Genius! Her idea worked! Hurray! I had check ins from Honolulu, Nevada, Utah, and now Arizona! The coveted and long sought after Statesman Badge was finally mine after years of trying! Let's hope our lottery ticket is lucky, too!

I get my stuff, and am waiting for a coffee. I open the bag and the fritter bag and what the heck. It's not a fritter. There is no apple on or in it. It's not crunchy. I take a bite and yup. It's not as it should be. The lady comes to the window and I ask what I can do. That it's not any where near a normal. She says yes it is and that's what they always look like. a No it's not. She doesn't apologize or even offer to return it or replace it. She stares at me then slams the window on me. Let's go over this. A. Their donuts are mid at best. It's just how it is. I stopped ordering them a while ago. B. I do go there every morning though. Ask the other window guy. I go for Kolaches. My son loves them. C. Not anymore. I also will be calling. Literally blown away . Who owns this store. Legit it was so offensive and off putting. BLOWN AWAY. See pic below. No crunchy bits. Legit trying to say that's what they always look like. No it's not. Not at all. And then the rough window close. Stg word of mouth is legit where I'm about to post. So not nice.

That will do-we pulled into the parking lot. The first thing I noticed was the lovely landscaping out front. Even though it was winter time, it was obvious that someone put some effort into this yard. I'd love to see it in full bloom. But flowers was not why I was here, so I turned my attention to the indoors. As soon as I opened the door, I was hit with the smell of deliciousness. There are cases of chocolate and shelves of candy and popcorn. If you need to fill the candy jar on grandma's coffee table, you'll also find hard candies here. They've got it all. I enjoyed a cherry cordial. Well, two, actually. No shame here-they are so good that you can easily put two away, despite them being fairly large in size. The pricing was fair as well. Overall, this was a great stop and I'm excited to come back and try even more chocolates.

Everything looked so good & the place was so clean! I was originally going for ground chuck to make a meatloaf. THEY ACTUALLY HAD A COUPLE OF SEASONED MEATLOAFS READY FOR THE OVEN! I was extremely relieved! We were also getting these things called Chicken Bombs! Extremely seasoned cream cheese filled chicken wrapped in bacon!! What!!! And they were the size of baseballs! I happen to see these Giant pre seasoned beef patties mixed with all kinds of extras screaming Take Me Home & Grill Me! I had to ask what they were!...COWBOY BURGERS! Sooooo Delicious! We were also given samples while there. We tried some of their jerky & just had to add that on to our bill! I forgot to mention they even had big buns for these big burgers! One less thing to get. Talk about convenience! All of our meat was perfectly wrapped, tagged, & bagged. Plenty of parking. We were even front row. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this experience.

We had to make a last-minute adjustment to the food, (adding guests) and Jesse was more than accomodating. Every guest had their favorites, but mine was the mac n cheese. We also had appetizers of chicken wings (great sauce) a cheese and meats tray. Then there were the best ribs my husband's ever tasted. Salad, honey cornbread, everything was cooked to perfection and somehow kept at the perfect temperature. There was enough for everyone to have seconds and there were leftovers, but they didn't last long. All kinds of BBQ is a hidden gem. Jesse even walked around to the tables checking on our guests. We got the unexpected surprise of his wife coming along to help. What a beautiful asset for this business. I was very frazzled planning a backyard wedding and her sweet smile and confident attitude was just what I needed. If you're planning a backyard event, whether large or small, I'd call All Kinds of BBQ, no questions asked.
